When she asked, “Why aren’t South Africans fighting against white foreigners as well?” I was genuinely annoyed because it completely misses the point. White South Africans or foreigners generally aren’t competing with illegal migrants for limited public resources. Most don’t live in townships or informal settlements where the pressure on public clinics, schools and low skilled jobs is felt most. Poor black South Africans do. That’s why this issue is experienced differently. It’s not about race. It’s about who is directly affected by the competition for already stretched public resources. People who live side by side with illegal migrants and rely on the same public services are naturally going to have different concerns from those who don’t. Their experiences deserve to be acknowledged, not reduced to accusations of xenophobia. I don’t know why she and everyone including the government and politicians don’t get it. I’m not directly affected by illegal immigrants but I can’t dismiss the lived experiences of people who are affected by them.

This woman is a legal immigrant and is disgusted by what people from other countries like Mexico are doing in her new country. She came here from Mexico LEGALLY and has worked her whole life to get what she has. She never asked for a penny from the government. She didn’t come here to get something from the government, she came here for an opportunity and she got it - the American Dream. But to the people protesting: If you don’t want to be deported & you want to stay here you need to show your best behavior. “You think that we want you here with that behavior of burning cars, burning the entire city?” And for the people defending these violent attackers - shame on you! Many in white America hate when Black people talk about race, but their whole political model is designed to help one race over everyone else. It’s all a mind game. Trying to trick you into thinking something is wrong with you talking about your history and heritage. They don’t want you to discuss your history because it proves that the stories they tell are lies. Black America isn’t asking you to feel bad for the past, we are demanding that you be true to what you said on paper! We aren’t ignoring the transgressions of your generation that align with the actions of your ancestors. We also know that if we are to maintain the freedoms we fought for it requires us to tell the truth on America. This is why I’m never apologizing for talking about race, or demanding more from this nation, our state, and local governments. I will continue to fight for and protect Black people, live in a Black community, support Black business, and love on Black people out loud. I won’t ever stop believing in the brilliance of Black people. And if you have no issue with his comments you should is have none with mine. We should all be able to be proud of our heritage right? The Epstein files are about one thing: transparency. People need to know the rich and powerful don’t get a separate justice system. If the only reason someone wasn’t indicted is because they’re rich, the public deserves to know. But transparency must be handled properly to avoid smearing innocent people with unproven accusations. My advice to the White House is simple: look at everything you’ve done on this issue for the last six months and do the opposite. They’ve botched this at every turn and need to start delivering the truth.

While blue-state leftists lecture the South on redrawing congressional maps in adherence to the recent Supreme Court ruling, remember most of them only live in a theoretical world in which they never actually exist among black people. The majority of them are arguing blindly for people who they see as pets in need of a white savior, not people. It’s not racist to treat black Americans the same as their white counterparts. This Alabamian’s description of living in the West and North around white progressives sums up their attitudes perfectly: “The thing that shocked me the most is how segregated they are. … The white people out there, they don’t talk to y’all like people. What MP Rupert Lowe says here about immigration is what’ll save England: “You’re here illegally, you go. Don’t come here illegally. If you want to come here, apply legally and then we can decide whether you’re going to add benefit to your society. And if we don’t think you are, don’t come here. So, you know, stay at home. And if you don’t agree with our culture and our laws and the way we live our lives and you don’t speak our language, that’s another big issue by the way, come here, you’ve got to learn English, you’ve got to speak English.
