🔥 Chris Patten pulls no punches on Trump: “Terrible man. Dubious on democracy. Almost certainly doesn’t believe in the rule of law.” “Foreign policy isn’t just about interests. It’s about self-respect.” “Giving Trump a state visit was demeaning.” Paten defends the BBC as “the most trusted public broadcaster in...

Gavin Newsom just said what most politicians are too scared to: “You could lose this country. It’s not the rule of law anymore, it’s the Rule of Don… He doesn’t give a shit about the law.” That’s not hyperbole. That’s a governor watching democracy get torched in real time.

Flag code violation: Man uses American flag as a drape covering for Trump art, then wads it up in front of Trump who doesn’t seem to mind. Later, the man places the wadded up American flag in a chair behind him.

The Constitution is the rule of law, but Trump treats it as a mere suggestion. I introduced articles of impeachment against him to demand accountability and safeguard our democracy from his threats. He needs to be reined in!

Does anyone in America believe President Trump would be on trial today if he wasn’t running for president? The blatant politicization of the rule of law by liberal prosecutors is a threat to democracy.

BREAKING: Newsom at Davos: "There's no rule of law. It's the rule of Don... I mean, heck, Donald Trump tried to steal the election, the last election. Tried to light democracy on fire, and then pardoned everyone that participated in that." He just hit the nail in the head here. Trump is a dictator.

5 years ago, Donald Trump tried to subvert our democracy. He has since pardoned those who beat police officers bloody on that dark day. Now he wants to rewrite history. We cannot let him. Trump doesn’t give a damn about democracy here at home, in Venezuela, or around the world.

“The true threat to democracy was never President Trump. It was the partisan operatives who abused federal and state law enforcement in a deliberate conspiracy to destroy him and suppress the America First movement.” Daniel Z. Epstein before Senate Judiciary Republicans on Arctic Frost

BREAKING: Trump just signed an executive order declaring that only he can decide “what the law is.” A full-blown power grab wrapped in authoritarian cosplay. This isn’t how the Constitution works. The courts exist for a reason, but Trump is out here acting like a king with a Sharpie. If this stands, the rule of law doesn’t just bend—it breaks.

Hillary Clinton on Trump: “The level of political and financial corruption that is not even being hidden anymore, it’s out in plain view. These people are unleashed and unhinged. I think with Trump he’s going to double down. He doesn’t care about the law. He doesn’t care about complying. And no one can make him comply”

Former deputy PM John Manley: We used to always refer to the president of the United States as the leader of the free world. Donald Trump is not the leader of anything other than about the 37% of Americans that still support him. If anything, intellectually at least, Mark Carney has become the leader of the free world, the countries that believe in democracy and the rule of law.

The Constitution is our country's most sacred document, laying out the foundations of our democracy: Rule of law, fair elections, and a peaceful transfer of power. It’s too important to set it aside for one man. Choose America over Trump.

Trump is doing in public what was rumored of Biden in private. Those rumors were reason enough for the whole country to rise up against him, but trump doing it in public for all the world to see doesn’t get a tenth—a one hundred of the same energy. This is untenable.
