Her boyfriend (aged 17) at the time reportedly carved the pentagram in the victim's chest and got life with the possibility of parole. The other female involved got probation.

The victim’s family deserves justice and lasting support. The state also has a duty to treat prisoners humanely. Supporting a lawful sentence doesn’t mean ignoring suffering or excusing failures in how it’s carried out. I’ll keep praying for repentance while there is still time.

Their PROCESS? This looks like sabotage. We have … 22,000 lbs of fentanyl sitting around. There have only EVER been 2 failed executions by lethal injection. It’s not the process, it’s someone on the inside of that process.

Pike denied Colleen Slemmer any access to healthcare after slamming a piece of pavement into her head, shattering Colleen's skull. Colleen was dead then.

She was sentenced to death. That's pretty much the definition of critically ill

Try an old school method: guillotine?

Pull the plug, she'll die, mission accomplished. The only debate here is why we take so long to carry out the sentence, and why we make it so complicated.
