After one particular argument, Singleton refused to come out of his trailer. Christian Bale who normally weighed around 80kg, had to reduce his weight to 54kg for his role in "The Machinist" (2004). He had to increase his weight to play Batman in "Batman Begins" (2005). To increase his weight, He was lifting really heavy weights and just stuffing so much into his mouth. His body was under so much pressure that he could feel it. To fill out his Batman suit, Bale stuffed himself with food and when he was not eating, he was in the gym. His doctor said to him, 'You are going nuts. You have to slow down'." But when he arrived on the set of 'Batman Begins', he was 100kg, well overweight. According to Bale, Nolan had no idea who Bale was when he arrived to the set with his long hair. "When Nolan got close he was like 'Holy f... You look like Grizzly Adams. What's going on?'" Nolan then asked him to get a little leaner. Thandiwe Newton admitted she was “so scared” of Tom Cruise while filming a kissing scene for Mission: Impossible II (2000), calling him “a very dominant individual” who “tries superhard to be a nice person.” Newton said the scene wasn't working, and Cruise became frustrated before suggesting, “I'll be you. You be me,” with the two swapping roles and filming the entire rehearsal on camera. She described it as “the most unhelpful” thing imaginable, adding, “It just pushed me further into a place of terror and insecurity.” Later, she called director Jonathan Demme and told him the it was “a nightmare,” believing she was “the big fu***ng problem.” To which Demme replied, “Thandie, shame on you for not backing yourself.” When Cruise later called, she thought, “Oh, this is it. Tom Cruise called me to say congratulations, okay, had nothing to do with the movie, didn't work at Warner Brothers. "I'd met him once over at his house to talk about cuz he'd seen the trailer for 300 was like this is awesome. And I just kind of tell him how he did it and everything was really, he's a sort of student of cinema and student film. "So he really wanted to know what this was. NEW: Man dies on a Royal Caribbean cruise after being served 33 drinks, family accuses cruise staff of injecting him with a sedative. 35-year-old Michael Virgil was seen having a meltdown after getting off the elevator on the wrong floor. The family says just hours after leaving the port, Virgil was served excessive amounts of alcohol. When he went to look for his room, he got agitated when he couldn't find it and started chasing people. Crew members eventually had to intervene, allegedly using pepper spray and a sedative called Haloperidol, at the request of the ship's captain. He then suffered from a cardiopulmonary arrest.
