Sora 2, “ family guy dark humor” My personal thoughts: This is clearly the best AI video model for replicating animated shows. This truly gives credence to the fact that within the decade AI generated short films/shows is looking like a real possibility. My important caveats. Model trained only on video can get visually indistinguishable for most viewers most of the time. It can match texture, lighting, motion, and camera language so well that only careful inspection gives it away. However For sustained quality at the level of a full scene or an episode, video alone hits a ceiling IMO. Pure video likelihood drives the model toward what is frequent, not toward the rare timing and payoff choices that make the best jokes land. It has weak grasp of long arc causality, character memory, and joke structure. It also does not see intent, off screen context, or prosody unless you give it those signals. So you get something that looks right but drifts on beats that matter. I don’t know what the potential solution would be other than to have an AGI just animate the show for me. Any others ? ⚾️ It is no secret that elbow injuries, specifically UCL injuries, have been on a rise in recent years ➡️ The reason for this is so multi-factorial that it is impossible to pinpoint any 1 reason for an injury 💪 With the constant improvement in the development of pitchers, both skill side and S&C, we are seeing an increase in velocity across all levels of baseball 🎟This is obviously a Great thing for Punching Tickets but also leads to more forces being passed through the medial elbow 🔥There are really 3 proactive actions we actions we can take to counteract this: 1) Address pitching mechanics if there are deficiencies 2) Appropriately manage chronic/acute AND Total workloads 3) Increase the capacity and stress the elbow can handle 🔥 We will specifically dive in to the 3rd component of this in this thread. In short, the answer is simple, GET STRONG FOREARMS 3 WAYS VALGUS FORCE IS DISPERSED ✅ Radiocapitellar Joint Compression When a valgus stress is applied to the elbow, it is attempting to open up or gap the medial (inside) portion of the elbow. This is also the Orthopedic Test for a UCL injury. While this force is trying to gap the medial portion of the elbow, it is also compressing the lateral side. When the radius and lateral humerus compress, this acts as a stopping point for the elbow going into that valgus motion ✅ Forearm Musculature In addition to the UCL on the medial side of the elbow, there is also a group of forearm muscles that span that area and attach to the same portion of the elbow, the medial epicondyle. These muscles include: Pronator Teres, Flexor Carpi Ulnaris, Flexor Carpi Radialis, Flexor Digitorum Superfiscialis, and the Palmaris Longus. With that specific attachment to the medial epicondyle and their respective distal attachments, these do a great job of accepting the valgus force and protecting the UCL. There is some research that states FCU does the best job of the muscles listed, but we believe the best action is to strengthen all of them. The best ways to attack this is with movements including: finger flexion, wrist flexion, Ulnar deviation (moving pinky towards medial elbow), and Pronation of the forearm ✅ Ulnar Collateral Ligament (UCL) What doesn’t get absorbed by the first two structures is placed on the UCL. Previous research has shown that a UCL with no other structures involved is able to withstand ~35 nm of force before failure The Problem is: Every Pitch produces far more than 35nm of Valgus Stress. This shows us just how important the other 2 mechanisms are! * Exercises in the videos should be a complement to your entire S&C Program and is not designed to replace it

In second video, the pushing was so much P'Ko had to hold Est's hands to make sure he doesn't fall. This situation is not it. Consider Est's safety and privacy above everything else because situation is so bad, Est's team is posting on how bad the situation has gotten and that should be a wakeup call enough.

This guy has either never used a MiSTer FPGA, or he's deliberately spreading misinformation. The video he linked, complete with timestamp, does not show the core crashing at all. Instead, it shows the credits screen listing those involved in the development of the project. From what I can see, this appears to be the core credits screen that was likely mapped to a controller button and triggered accidentally (I've done it myself). I've attached the video in question. Have a look and let me know if you think I'm missing something, but based on what I can see, this doesn't look like a crash whatsoever. Link to the tweet in question:

The perfect video to view on Holi… Because the colours of India spring up in many different ways & surprise us. Chillis laid out for drying create an amazingly beautiful tapestry when seen from above. This is Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh which alone has a share of 15% in India’s chilli production. Can, & should AP turn this seasonal crop into a tourist attraction? It’s a winter harvest so the timing is right. I’ve never been, but I suspect the problem is that the beauty of the patterns may not be visible at ground level. Balloon rides? Curate performances of local music and dance at that time & create a festival? Other ideas? I know many will feel that it should be left free of potentially disruptive tourists. The inbound tanker flows have slowed to a trickle and with the latest attack from IRGC using missiles (previously drones), the situation appears to be escalating. From a flow standpoint, inbound tanker rate is insufficient to change the production shut-in math. Yes, there are some loadings going on, but if the onshore storage drains with no visibility for a lot more VLCCs, the production will not restart, which is the crux of the issue. I guess time will tell what happens from here on out. I suspect the US will keep testing Iran's resolve with the Oman route.
