Christopher Reeve didn’t need CGI or a flashy suit—he shrugged his shoulders, stood up straight, and boom: Clark Kent was gone, Superman was in the room. The man acted the transformation. GOAT behavior

Totally agree his transformation was pure magic. The way he shifted his posture, voice, and expression in a second? Unreal. He didn’t just play Superman, he became him. Honestly, no one’s matched that level of subtle power since.

Christopher Reeves’ performance is so much better. The more recent portrayals are lifeless. Just as important is the filmmaking. The Reeves’ films were made by people who were great storytellers. The modern films are CGI cartoon junk for an illiterate audience with ADD.

He was the dreamiest man ever. I told my Dad after I saw Superman in the theaters that I wanted to marry him. 😂 I was a little girl at the time.

Nah. Shows that Kal-El was his real identity and Clark was his secret identity. He had to switch from being Superman to Clark. Not the other way around. That said, he was amazing and no one represented that dichotomy better.

He once said in an interview that he slouched forward purposely to portray Clark as a bumbling man and then straightened up for Superman. Absolutely the best Superman ever
