It’s Caden’s first time ever stepping onto a real golf course. Not a backyard plastic set. Not mini-golf. An actual course Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver, Colorado. Nine holes on the par-3 layout. His dad Justin is already proud just watching him make it all the way to the final hole without melting down or quitting. That alone is a win when you’re dealing with a four-year-old and a golf club on a hot June day. 🔥Then this happens🔥 Caden lines up over a neon green ball on the 9th tee. Tiny orange polo. The 25-year-old shocked everyone in the kitchen!❤ Committed, neat, disciplined and calm - it was as if it was second nature to him. Whatever we threw at him, he handled it with great poise and maturity. The very next day, he joined our family at RCP Kochi.💕 Today, he is a brother to the 30-odd chefs working in the kitchen. They cook together, smile together, strive together and learn together. When I met him, I only told him one thing: “As long as this restaurant exists, you can call this home.” I don’t know if he understood it or not, but he held my hands tightly and looked at me. The moment I saw his eyes, I knew. I knew my heart was right - this boy was special. Food has no language. There are two deleted scenes in The Godfather that were originally supposed to take place after Connie’s wedding. In them, Michael Corleone accompanies his father, Vito, and his two brothers to visit the dying Genco Abbandando, the family’s consigliere, in the hospital. In his preproduction notes, Francis Ford Coppola wrote that he wanted these scenes “to further define and provoke Michael’s relationship to the Don,” adding, “We can see that although they are strained together, the Don is immensely interested in Michael.” The main source of tension between them was Michael’s decision to join the Marines after the United States entered World War II several years earlier. The novel reveals the extraordinary lengths Vito went to in an attempt to keep his youngest son out of the war. “Don Corleone had no desire, no intention, of letting his youngest son be killed in the service of a power foreign to himself. Doctors had been bribed, secret arrangements had been made. A great deal of money had been spent to take the proper precautions.” But against Vito’s wishes, Michael enlisted and went on to become a captain and decorated war hero. His photograph was even published in Life magazine, prompting Vito to remark disdainfully, “He performs those miracles for strangers”—a line Coppola later reworked into the second deleted scene. After being wounded, Michael briefly returned home before leaving again to attend Dartmouth College, choosing to pursue his own education and future without consulting his father. By the time he returns for Connie's wedding, he has spent years deliberately distancing himself from both Vito and the Corleone family. Coppola reinforces that separation visually during the wedding scene. Michael is presented in his Marine uniform while the rest of the family are dressed in black. Rather than standing with Vito and his brothers, he sits in a secluded corner of the garden with Kay Adams. As Puzo writes, Michael sits there “to proclaim his chosen alienation from father and family.” Kay further emphasizes that divide. She is the outsider, the “American girl” whom the Corleones immediately judge and reject: “Beside him sat the American girl everyone had heard about but whom no one had seen until this day. He had, of course, shown the proper respect and introduced her to everyone at the wedding, including his family. They were not impressed with her. She was too thin, she was too fair, her face was too sharply intelligent for a woman, her manner too free for a maiden.” The phrase “the American girl” is significant because it is exactly how Vito derisively refers to Kay in the first deleted scene. It was probably wise for Coppola to leave these scenes out, since the film was already very long. But they're interesting to look at as they reveal an early tension between Michael and Vito that the finished version never gets the chance to explore.

Good morning, TeamFuloZim/Global 🌅 Yesterday was one of those Saturdays that starts with high hopes and ends in a bit of self-doubt and kitchen smoke. Having finally recovered from a relentless two-week streak of #ZesaUK call-outs, I decided to reward myself (and maybe punish others) by making my signature NFC ,Njanja Fried Chicken. 😋😋 But aish! Let’s just say… the results were mixed. 😬 Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve made this before ,and it nearly brought the house down (in a good way). But yesterday, ummm, ndakawona moto! Let’s just say something wasn’t oil-right. (See what I did there? 😜) The pot started frothing like I’d poured in Sunlight dishwashing liquid ,and no, Fa Matiz Fadzie, before you start ,I didn’t. This isn’t a repeat of the Great Derere Disaster of 2021. I swear! 😂 45 minutes, team. Forty. Five. To fry a few humble 🥁🍗?? I could’ve walked to KFC and back. Twice. But KFC isn’t NFC! What was going on? Does the type of cooking oil make a difference? Because I always assumed mafuta is mafuta. Turns out… I may have been cooking in ignorance all these years. 🫣 And don’t even bring up the pot I used. I already know what you’re thinking. “Wrong pan, wrong pot…” But you know the rules in UK households: the “special cookware” is strictly out of bounds for most men ,in case we burn it or give it funny smells. 🙄 So yes, I had to work with what I was “allowed” to use. Call it survival cooking. Also, can we talk about how I initially cracked the eggs directly into the flour bowl? Tsitsitsitsitsitsitsi, #DzunguMoment ,I know. I KNOW. I later remembered the egg wash was supposed to be in a separate bowl. Rookie error. I corrected course, but the flour still wasn’t binding like it does on those perfect Chef Vie 💙 🇿🇼 🇰🇪 🇰🇷 🇯🇴 🇿🇦 Chef Vie or COOKING WITH LIA 👩🏾‍🍳🌱 reels. Where’s my crispy coating era, nhayi? That said ,shout out to my NSDB 🌶️🌶️ for adding that Njanja zing to the mix. The spice was there. The heart was there. My sweetie here is a late bloomer but I have always kept faith that people will see his potential. I liked what this kblogger said that when you see him in TJFH , he feels familiar but yet you might think he's a newcomer. Seems like a rookie but surprised that he's good in acting. If you check his filmography you'd realise he's been acting for more than a decade. JY mentioned that he wasn't sure what to do while in school but he did have a dream of being a chef especially because he helped mum out at home. His father suggested modeling after he was done with military service . He mentioned in an interview he had to shed off 30kg through diet & exercise as he weighed over 100kg .Esteem Academy signed him & he debut as a model in 2010. He got casted in a TVN survival program "Flower Boy Casting". From there, he was inspired to act and landed his 1st supporting role in the movie "No Breathing". (starring SeoInGuk & LeeJongSuk.) If you want to see a young JY in swimwear 😁, you can check him out there. The movie didn't quite make a splash (pun unintended 😁) , and JY who had actually left Esteem to pursue acting, found himself jobless for at least over a year. He auditioned for BladeMan (LeeDongWook & Shin SeKyung's drama) and got casted for a small role. Esteem reached out to him again & he signed with them again to model. He later also joined HB Entertainment for acting jobs, and was with them for a long time. Last year (2023) he left HB and joined his long time manager who had established a new agency, Management S. After Blademan , JY had several supporting roles but his 1st main cast role was in OCN's My Secret Romance. He was the 2nd lead & that was also my first JY drama. While I didn't have SLS, he was such a sweetheart there and caught my attention. My massive crush began when he acted as MooYeon in #100DaysMyPrince as an assassin and the FL's brother. He also had a forbidden love line with the 2ndFL's char played by HanSoHee , and they had great chemie despite limited scenes. I cried my eyes out watching their tragic love story. This is the year (2018) I decided I'll stan this man ☺️😂 His role there opened many doors. He had a short TV series called Dear My Room ( was on the now defunct Olive TV) where he played the romantic ML against Ryoo Hye Young's character. It was one of those friends to lovers trope and I recommend this for a sweet fluffy watch. He also sang the OST with RHY. The big year came in 2019 when he was casted as the ML , Sun Woo in #SecretBoutique, a female centric drama starring KimSunA and GoMinSi . He had a meaty role here as a prosecutor - a bit of a grey character and was somewhat like a brother to the FL (KimSunA) and he had some nice fight scenes. His body was the best here 🔥😋😁. If you don't mind a heavy melodrama, this wasn't bad. And oh boy, was I shipping him hard with GoMinSi's character. I still hope they can reunite for another show & give me closure. 2019-2020 was when I watched a KBS weekender #BeautifulLoveWonderfulLife from start to finish ( raw and with subs - yes my level of dedication surprised me) because JY got casted as Jun Hwi, the ML against another actress I love , Seol In Ah. Gosh, this drama was an emotional roller coaster and was another heavy character. The premise of the story was so sad and the leads went through so much together but I love this show though. He had good chemie with SIA. He also won a KBS acting award here. I recommend this if you can do 50eps and love angst like I do 😂 The role took its toll on JY. He mentioned he needed to take a break but then found himself without work for at least 6-7 months ( if I remember correctly) . Boy, did I miss him. As WooJae, KJY gave some of his best acting. I know he got a lot of hate 😵‍💫🤣because WooJae was just so obssessed / in love with GHJ's character that he was willing to throw it all for her. This drama is not for the faint hearted but the acting was superb all round - even if the plot would make you uncomfortable. He was so hot here too. JY with longish hair was a dream. In 2022, he was the 2ndML , as KangHaeJin in #LoveInContract. It was so nice to see him play a diva actor and do rom-com for the 1st time. This is a fun watch. While I don't think viewers would have SLS, JY's character wasn't one dimensional either and he had his own storyline despite not being the ML. In 2022 - 2023 he voiced an audio drama , "For Sale - I Broke Up" with Yoon So Hee - but I don't know how we can listen to it internationally (though I do have some vids I would post one day). He also filmed a drama called "We Will Replace The Trip" with Gong SeungYeon, but so far no news of it airing yet. JaeYoung here is shy and unassuming. He's MBTI is INFP. You can see from his interviews he's quite easygoing and humorous. On my highlights- I have subbed some of his videos for TJFH. He mentioned in an interview he had to shed off 30kg through diet & exercise as he weighed over 100kg .Esteem Academy signed him & he debut as a model in 2010. He got casted in a TVN survival program "Flower Boy Casting". From there, he was inspired to act and landed his 1st supporting role in the movie "No Breathing". (starring SeoInGuk & LeeJongSuk.) He had a short TV series called Dear My Room ( was on the now defunct Olive TV) where he played the romantic ML against Ryoo Hye Young's character. It was one of those friends to lovers trope and I recommend this for a sweet fluffy watch. He also sang the OST with RHY. The big year came in 2019 when he was casted as the ML , Sun Woo in #SecretBoutique, a female centric drama starring KimSunA and GoMinSi . He had a meaty role here as a prosecutor - a bit of a grey character and was somewhat like a brother to the FL (KimSunA) and he had some nice fight scenes. His body was the best here 🔥😋😁. If you don't mind a heavy melodrama, this wasn't bad. And oh boy, was I shipping him hard with GoMinSi's character. I still hope they can reunite for another show & give me closure. 2019-2020 was when I watched a KBS weekender #BeautifulLoveWonderfulLife from start to finish ( raw and with subs - yes my level of dedication surprised me) because JY got casted as Jun Hwi, the ML against another actress I love , Seol In Ah. Gosh, this drama was an emotional roller coaster and was another heavy character. The premise of the story was so sad and the leads went through so much together but I love this show though. He had good chemie with SIA. He also won a KBS acting award here. I recommend this if you can do 50eps and love angst like I do 😂 The role took its toll on JY. "I remember feeling very tired mentally, four days of sort of leading the tournament. I won the week before in Greensboro so I’d had a lot of media attention that week and so people forget that. You know to win two in a row is not always easy and then the Masters, I was late, day one, and there was no late and early times you get the first Tour. It was either if you score well the first round and you’re late, you’ll be late the second day so I was late the third day and then was obviously last off with Crenshaw. So mentally it was getting quite tiring because the course was very dry and it was just holding on because you had these four footers. You keep getting, keep making them and then you know, and then obviously I had a bit of a hiccup at 11th and 12th. Things didn’t go well there so now I was on the hunt to try and get that few shots back off Calcavecchia and it had come at holes that I thought wouldn’t happen. I thought 13th I can maybe get a birdie, and I had a good tee shot. I had 165 for my second shot, to give you some idea how good the tee shot was, and I still made par which was annoying. I made it close at 14th from about eight feet and I missed that for birdie, and I didn’t make birdie at 15th with a second shot just off the back of the green so I’m thinking you know, the chances are gone, a bit thin, and then you go and birdie 16th from above the hole which wasn’t quite, was on the gameplan but I’ll take it. And then the 18th, we all know that it was in the bunker and then got it out the bunker fairly successfully, and then – talking about the putts you have to hole to win, that was an eighteen, eighteen feet I think it was, the putt. Doesn’t look like it on TV, looks like about six feet and I got the memories of Trevino always saying if you’re going to have to win a tournament or a winning putt, he said I’d rather have a downhill putt than I would have a twenty foot putt uphill when you’ve actually physically got to hit it. So obviously I’m putting downhill all the way so to me, I’d had probably ten minutes to read the line. I don’t know if it was a good thing or a bad thing. You get too many ideas in your mind because Crenshaw was butchering the hole at the time and he was putting out and da da, so I was waiting for ages and that just took about a four inch back swing, if that, and just started the ball rolling and obviously we know it went in the can. I was saying to myself, thank **** I’m not going down the 10th on the play-off because I’d got no legs left." 👀🤔Is it possible Candace was being fed the 7 charges through a private earpiece channel? And that the final question was timed that way on purpose? I’m sure they would never do that… of course The moment people are treating as salvaging her in the debate may actually be the one which raises the most questions. Remember when she says her ear piece went out and she can't hear? That comment sits in the window right before she asked the charges question near the end. I’m sure it was just a normal production glitch. This debate had to happen in her home. A lot of the production ran through her system and her studio environment. PBD had control of the control room and Andrew brought his own camera, but the location and core setup were hers. Ear pieces can pick up different signals from different transmitters. Sometimes an official control room feed is one signal so the production team can talk to everyone. A second small transmitter somewhere else in the house could talk to the same earpiece on a different frequency. She hears both. Nobody in the shared control room has to know. A second transmitter would only be detectable if someone from PBD’s or Andrew’s team was actively running a spectrum scan and specifically looking for an extra signal while it was still transmitting. Once that private feed is turned off, a later scan finds nothing. In a house already full of wireless production gear, an extra low power signal does not just light up on its own. You have to be searching for it in real time. So if someone was in another room watching the public YouTube feed (which has a normal delay) and feeding her the list, that alone could explain the stall.
