The Second Amendment is the only “right” that is arbitrarily denied to people who are merely ACCUSED of domestic violence. It is the only “right” that is arbitrarily denied to people convicted of a felony. It is the only “right” that a citizen has to get the approval of the government in order to exercise. Consequently, based on all of these facts, it seems that the government has intentionally and unconstitutionally infringed on the Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms in direct, open, and intentional violation of the Constitution of theUnited States of America.

the SCOTUS isn't "independent" of the government, it's the third branch OF government. the US Constitution is only as effective as the People are willing to adhere to it-and when in conflict, committed to the constitutional amendment process over judicial activism.

Simple, easy to remember. Conduct oneself accordingly and likely you'll be in steel bracelets. How many current laws are central to 2nd Amendment permissions? Fees? Gen Free Zones? I'm pretty sure I can't enumerate them.

We have what I call a "bottom up" system of government. In it, the people are the masters. Government "derives its just powers from the consent of the governed" and rights are basic to the human condition. Contrast that with the "top down" systems pervading the rest of the world. There, such governments rule in their own right, the people exist at government sufferance, and "rights" are mere permissions dispensed or revoked at the whim of such governments. We have a noxious faction in this country that wants to convert us to a top down system. This is exemplified by senator Tim Kaine (D, Virginia), who commented in a recent hearing that he found the idea of God-given (or natural, depending on one's beliefs) rights to be troubling to him. He supports the notion of rights as granted by government. This faction must be defeated.

Most people, it seems, do not want to know the Truth. THEIR truth...yeah...but not THE Truth.

God protect this man. He understands what we have all been saying but politicians don't understand that they have no power. The constitution made them representatives of the people and that is it.
