Clashes between the Syrian military and security forces, and paramilitary groups supported by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), are continuing today in the Northern Syrian city of Aleppo, with heavy fighting taking place in almost all Kurdish-majority neighborhoods, particularly centered around Sheikh Maqsood.

After the Syrian Government Forces attacked the SDF at the Tishreen dam frontline this morning - the Syrian Government Forces attacked Kurdish forces in Aleppo (Sheikh Maqsoud & Ashrafiyeh) Now: Syrian Government Forces deploy major reinforcements to the Kurdish held neighbourhoods in Aleppo, Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh. Syrian Government Forces tried to enter the Kurdish controlled neighbourhood in Aleppo with a vehicle accompanied by a drone - the Kurdish security forces immediately reacted and neutralised 1 militant alongside wounding 3 others who were later transported to a hospital by the Kurdish forces; the drone that was accompanying them was also shot down.

The Syrian Government has declared the Kurdish neighbourhoods in Aleppo a military zone and states that all military structures are legitimate targets. This is a declaration of war by the Jolani led administration against the Kurdish people residing in Aleppo. The Kurdish military structures in Aleppo are part of the STG - the Syrian Government completely hides this fact. All throughout the night sporadic clashes have happened - since the early morning hours, attacks and artillery strikes by the Syrian Government have increased. The declaration of the Kurdish neighbourhoods as military zones will be effective at 15:00 local time.
