Classrooms need to reset and focus on history not indoctrination.

“This is what happens when we allow the Left to push indoctrination in the classroom.” You know Oklahoma is the reddest state in the Nation, right? Want to improve test scores? Start by attracting and retaining public school teachers, rather than pandering to political ideologies.

For someone who taught history in the past, you have no clue what studying history is. History is the study of understanding the past from multiple perspectives to help understand who we are and how we got here, both good and bad. That requires self-reflection. You should try it.

You are the only person focused on indoctrination in Oklahoma schools, @RyanWaltersSupt and it’s ugly. Stop. Focus on attracting and retaining great public school teachers. The rest is just blather.

They are focused on real factual history but you don’t like facts. You want to spread lies and misinformation by altering history to one that suits your beliefs. We are better together and better for knowing our past otherwise we are doomed to repeat it.

Which party has held the governorship since 2011. Which party has dominated the office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction since that time as well? Please stop blaming your failures on the bogeyman of the left.

You have nothing against using history as indoctrination. You just want to make sure you are the one doing it. Using history as propaganda is a tradition in this country. Remember the hilarious "Washington could not tell a lie"?

Will you allow the Osage Reign of Terror to be taught in schools? Black Wall Street and the Tulsa Race Massacre?

He’s a liar. He leaves off the fact that HE was on the board who wrote our recent state school history standards.

@GovStitt can you go ahead and impeach this guy, please and thanks?
