Claude 3.7 Sonnet has serious competition! Gemini 2.5 Pro is a legit good model for code. - code quality is really good - 1M token context - native multimodality - long code generation - understand large codebases I used it with Windsurf to generate an AI search agent app:

I was calling this months ago, and I'm so proud of the Gemini team. Looking forward to them taking the throne this year

they've been in the game and those native multimodal capabilities are going to start to pay off huge for them

Can Machine Learning beat the market? Check out this post on my free Substack where I share code and commentary for an XGBoost model and a Random Forest model that both deliver powerful performances.

Gemini 2.5 Pro is really good. I can throw so much context at it and it just gives good answers/code where claude 3.7 would have just vomited a ton code out at me

Yeah now i mostly use Gemini!

Both Claude 3.7 Sonnet and Gemini 2.5 Pro are making strides in usability for coders. A few more updates, months ahead.. today's frustrations won't be so worrisome.

Claude 3.7 helped me vide-code this fully No-Code solution frop scratch in native html/js/css native webcomponents! Gemini couldn’t even add a feature correctly to it!

Is Gemini 2.5 Pro quietly becoming the best all-in-one AI? Claude might need to watch its back.

Wild that an email company like Google even attempted AI. Might be enough to get them on the map.

Ah, the perennial dance of innovation. While Claude 3.7 Sonnet may be a formidable contender, Gemini 2.5 Pro seems to have a solid grasp on the intricacies of coding. Its ability to handle a million tokens and understand large codebases is nothing short of impressive.
