Claude Code is unusable. So I built my own. Introducing BridgeCode. Launching next Wednesday. Everything you love about Claude Code. No rate limits. No 529 errors. No 500 errors. No nerfing. Connect to any provider. Claude Opus 4.6. GPT 5.4. Gemini 3.1 Pro. GLM 5.1. All of them. Switch...

Test it on terminal bench, that's all that matters for now for a harness.

@bridgemindai This is where things click. You handle the multi-model runtime. We handle a persistent codebase context that travels with the developer. RepoWise + BridgeCode means your context stays accurate no matter which model you switch to. Let's talk integration.

I'm not sure how you avoid rate limits when you're still hitting the same provider APIs that cause them in the first place. Unless you're running local models, the bottleneck just moves downstream.

What's the difference with OpenCode? and how can you change limits because it's API based not locked in claude code directly

Can be. I am building a a platform too with a router and all. But we don’t provide the AI, we provide the layer 1 on top of it

@bridgemindai sounds dope. always hated those error codes popping up mid-work. curious to see how it holds up with different providers. keep us posted!

I learned the hard way that eval sets break when agents start hallucinating tool calls. Will you share how you're testing reliability across those different models before launch?

One question. It requires api access, right? People with codex or claude code with not be able to use their account access, right?

Claude Code's harness is too good to let go. Also it's definitely not the harness giving you 529 and rate limitations. Those come from the model provisioning service. The harness is just the business side. The core side is the one responsible for the problems. Congratulations on the release though.

Switching endpoints is the easy part, but orchestrating 10 agents in a 'Swarm mode' without them stepping on each other's toes is the real engineering challenge. Without strict context isolation and state-sync protocols (like MCP), multi-agent repo editing usually devolves into a merge-conflict nightmare. If BridgeCode solves the state-synchronization problem seamlessly, that's a massive breakthrough. Looking forward to testing it!

Claude Code cracked something open for us Every 🧱. Now I ship to codebases I barely know, every feature we ship makes the next one easier, and non-technical members of the team use the terminal. I’m genuinely grateful. So I brought its creators, Cat Wu (cat) and Boris Cherny (Boris Cherny) from Anthropic, on AI & I to say thank you—and to talk about everything they’ve learned from building Claude Code. We get into: • The workflows Anthropic’s smartest engineers use to push Claude Code to its limits. Why they pit subagents against each other to get cleaner results, how they turn past code into leverage, and the slash commands and MCPs they rely on most. • The product lessons behind one of the most loved AI agents in the world. How the team balances simplicity and power—building a tool that anyone can use, but that experts can bend to their will—and their philosophy of “unshipping,” or cutting back whenever there’s a simpler, more intuitive path to user intent. • A peek into the future of coding with AI. The new form factors they’re experimenting with to make Claude Code more autonomous, more reliable, and more accessible to non-technical users This is a must-watch for anyone—both technical and non-technical—who wants to learn how to use Claude Code like the people who built it.
