Claude Cowork and chat are merging into one Claude. Ask a quick question or hand over a report, and Claude takes it from there, even after you close your laptop. If something's unclear, Claude asks—you keep the final say. Rolling out to Pro and Max over the next few weeks.

You can also now make decks, docs, and designs in your conversation. Draft the one-pager in Claude Docs, turn it into a deck with Claude Slides, and mock up a matching visual in Claude Design, all from one place.

Fix a line in the doc yourself, leave a comment for Claude on a slide, or select an element and move it. When it's ready, present the deck straight from Claude, export the doc in the format you already use, or share everything at one link.

cowork plus chat merging is just admitting they were always the same product

This merge feels like its getting done so claude can have any excuse to tap tool use and burn more tokens so you guys get more Max subscriptions. we could always link back to or copy chats if we needed cowork. Focused solely on profitability before IPO

But what I was expecting is a new model, not a feature!
