It also has something called “Expert Workflow” where you can explore hundreds of different Agent Skills from different use cases.

You can access MiniMax Agent in your web browser here: Or download it here:

It looks nice, but it doesn't perform as well as Claude Cowork. Not even close. It's clear that Claude thought about which processes would be best to automate. have it go through 100 PDF invoices and analyze the data in them...

I'm not convinced by the "AI-native workspace" label, it sounds like a marketing term that doesn't necessarily hold up to scrutiny. What does that even mean in practice? How does MiniMax Agent Desktop leverage AI beyond just automating tasks?

MiniMax Agent Desktop connecting to local docs, email, and GitLab on both Windows AND Mac while Anthropic accused them of distilling Claude data two weeks ago is the most audacious product launch timing in AI history. bold move building a Cowork competitor with alleged stolen training data.

things are getting insane now

Full browser control on desktop is spicy. One bad prompt and your agent is impulse-buying NFTs again

Fair lol you can select which folder you want it to access though

Local agents controlling tools is a huge shift now

Connecting to the local environment + batch processing = next-level productivity. Excited to see how people leverage pre-built workflows.

Cost comparison? 💸

I’m guessing that’s only via the Chinese API yes? If I could use it with Ollama Cloud’s MiniMax then I’m all ears.

MiniMax Agent is here to compete the claude

AI is moving into operations.

AI-native workspace is interesting. The real test will be reliability once it touches email and codebases at scale.

This is a strong product angle: local access plus workflow automation is what teams actually need now.

MiniMax Agent Desktop competing with Claude Cowork signals the space is heating up. Local environment access is table stakes now. The differentiator will be reliability, latency, and how well they handle edge cases when automation fails.

cloud agent connect to my local, how to support my local stdio MCP?

full browser control opens a lot of automation potential.

Claude Cowork felt untouchable until now local connect batch MRs browser control and that Experts store with hundreds ready workflows

When @ManusAI ?

Does this mean it can control my browser and like add things to my cart, or complete and submit an assignment for me?
