Claude Opus 5.5 drew every frame of this animation in JavaScript. The whole family's running late to Grandma's birthday. Clawd has one hour to get them there.

Are you monetizing a YouTube yet? These are perfect shorts for kids!

Not yet!

It’s cute 🥰

Ty @somi_ai !

this is clean

Thanks @devteamdrew !

lovely

Ty!

You gotta share your process! 🙏 You must be dialing in moments and animations in here.

For this one I reviewed most of the frames and made small fixes

Are you trying to be secretive of process (totally valid to keep creative alpha)? You set the tone IMO for the whole set of viral javascript to video posts in the last week.

The process for all of these JavaScript animations is pretty similar. It's a combination of putting a lot of effort into it and some personal taste. I rewatch each video many times and prompt Claude to make small changes until it feels right to me. I also make multiple versions at once and compare all of them.

Ok, that sounds more inline with what I’m having to do. Will post some videos soon too. Though I’m trying to get a workflow for more for product videos with personality than pure art

wow, this is happy :)

Ty!

this is the most aligned model, for me this is the new benchmark, the more aligned the model, the cuter and nicer it is :)

nice as always

Ty!

Drawing every frame in js is the same trick as yesterday but the late-to-grandma bit is actually funny.

How long did it take ? And what was the token usage ? 😄

do you got sponsorship for the subs , these videos burn a lot of token

drawing every frame in js is the flex i’d still watch if it survives a real repo, not a 30 second loop

every frame in js is nuts. how many rounds did it take before the timing felt right?

Every frame drawn in JavaScript is impressive, but the Grandma’s-birthday premise gives it real heart. This feels like a tiny animated film, not just a tech demo!

NO CLAUDE!!! DON'T DRAW THE OLD GRANDMA RACE-MIXING!!!

Yo hit me with the skill!

Here is what I've done in 2 hours but cheating a bit with generated images and with deepseek 4.1 flash cause I'm broke xD Suno french song was already generated ^^

JavaScript rendering all frames is a heavy lift. Usually, you’d stream tokens to save compute and let the client handle playback smoothing. Doing it server-side ensures perfect sync but burns more GPU memory per frame, Claude’s handling that cost well though. Nice visual demo!

Such good stuff. Mind sharing how much time it took and token consumed by Opus 5.5?

This took 37 hours from start to finish. It began Sep 22 23:30 UTC and ended around Sep 24 12:30 UTC ~1.36 billion tokens in total

@qraydient Tbh I think this tracks, especially, if there’s human feedback. I asked it to journal and it took overnight to produce this with feedback, I was really amazed to see people saying it’s producing videos in 15 minutes.

@kevin_t_ngo Really like the cozy, slightly melancholic vibe. love the cute cat looking claude mascot there.

do you use the animations you‘ve made so far as references?

Yes! This one used the "What do you love?" animation

Impressive

How many iterations did it take to get the timing on the running scenes right?

Opus didn’t draw every frame - it generated a code that was used to animate objects
