Claude redefines how children learn. With just one prompt, you can dynamically simulate the physics of a double pendulum! At Coursera, having interactive visualizations for every topic was thought to be a pipe dream. Who had time to write it? Now, you can just ask for one.

Not just children. I'm using Claude 3.5 to make simulations for my new "Math for Life Sciences" at UC Santa Cruz. Incredibly helpful since I don't do web programming, javascript, etc. Took about 10 minutes per simulation, 1-2 hours to polish for students.

I'd love if you shared artifacts that have been particularly helpful to you and your students

Interesting. That’s the same simulation I published one week ago. Same colors, and even choosing only the second pendulum angle as the initial parameter plus both angle graphs. 😂

Showing a simulation ≠ learning.

Yes, and likely in a negative way. After spending last weekend coding with Claude, it’s only marginally better than ChatGPT (or maybe not better at all - just a different distribution of hallucinations).

With 3 pendulums...

Claude artifacts is dopeAF

Interactive learning is the best form of learning, Claude is changing the game with Artifacts 🔥

You still need people to verify and format everything, but it definitely makes life easier when it works
