Our communities continue to get terrorized by ICE and we have innocent people who are being picked off our streets. I hope their kids were not across the street at the school watching this. With this season being the lowest time of all times for #THFC, you’d like to think your club captain would embody “ALL TOGETHER, ALWAYS” On Sunday, there is a possibility this great club gets relegated, with every player including Romero being accountable for it. For him not to be at the club’s biggest game in their history is disgraceful, and even disrespectful to the fans that have stood by him throughout his fairly inconsistent time at the club. Even if we do stay up, I don’t see any way Cristian Romero can be a part of this club going forward. I’ll forever be grateful for his incredible contribution in Bilbao on this day last year, but I just don’t see any way back from this. A really sad way to go out.

I want to address the accusations made about me by another streamer, Ricababyyy. I met Rica for the first time last week during an IRL collab. That same night, she blocked me - and in the days after, began publicly accusing me live of copying her content, having no creativity, impersonating her, and even calling me a “psychotic stalker impersonator bitch.” She clipped my streams and sent them around to streamers, viewers, and mutuals to hate on me. She insulted my race and appearance, threatened to “take me down,” and said she’d drop more hate videos if I got Partner before her. I stayed silent, until now, because I didn’t know what to do. I’m a new, small Filipino streamer who barely knows anyone in LA. I felt scared, very hurt, and ashamed for not speaking up sooner. I came to the US for my first TwitchCon hoping to make friends and find community. I’m still learning, still adjusting, and I worry people won’t understand me. I’m naturally shy and soft-spoken, just trying to find my place in a new country. I’m sharing this because this kind of hate isn’t okay. No one deserves to be treated like this. During the attempt to secure it, the weapon discharged before the agent could declare the scene clear. Other officers, hearing a gun call and a gunshot while a suspect was resisting arrest, reacted according to their training. From their perspective, they were confronting an armed individual resisting arrest. That is why, immediately after the shooting, one officer urgently asked where the firearm was. He believed he had just engaged an armed suspect, because that is precisely the situation as it appeared in real time. He did not deserve to die. We said goodbye to our beloved Odom last night as it was his time to go. To say I am devastated would be an understatement because that dog has saved my life more times than I could even begin to fathom. To be with him at the end of his amazing life was an honor I do not take for granted. Most of my days and routines over the last few years were centered around him and ensuring that he received what he needed. Whether it was receiving insulin for his diabetes at the same times every day or planning walks and meals to accommodate what worked best for him, my schedule revolved around what he needed. To some, this might seem like a nuisance. For me, it made me better. I made his routines my routines. Walking him twice a day gave me time to reflect and appreciate all of the good in my life. Planning time for his exercise ensured I did the same for myself. Being immediately anchored by his weight on a walk because he wanted to appreciate something he had noticed taught me to slow down and take in moments in a way I wasn’t used to. His routine was my routine, and it made me better. When I first saw him at the Edmonton Humane Society Society, I wasn’t ready for a dog. My brother Alec was there, and he saw me with Odom, and he knew that I was in love immediately. I didn’t find Odom, but Odom found me. I left, not taking him home and immediately knew it was a mistake, and that he was meant to be in my life. I went to the Edmonton Humane Society the next day, 30 minutes before it opened, to ensure that I would be the first person to go through the doors. I headed straight for where Odom was, and he came home with me that day. With all of the ups and downs I have had in my life since, my love and pride in that dog were a constant. I am terribly sad, and I am taking solace in this quote from Andrew Garfield on grief: “This is all the unexpressed love, the grief that will remain with us until we pass because we never get enough time with each other, no matter if someone lives till 60, 15, or 99.” I love that dog because that dog loved me. Bye Odom…You will always be my best friend.
