even tho claymation feels outdated it s still one of our BEST-CONVERTING ad formats rn the whole format is just a consistent character, a problem to solve, and that handmade clay look... nothing more the brain filed clay under "wholesome" decades ago. it's the visual opposite of an ad - the skepticism filter never flips on, and people watch to the end... we made another full step-by-step video with ALL the specific prompts you need + a PDF of the entire workflow rt + comment "CLAY" and i'll send you everything (must follow so i can DM)

Been experimenting with Apple's new Core AI framework over the past few days Built a mobile app that runs local AI models directly on device, exploring Core AI model deployment (.aimodel), model specialization, caching, and inference across Apple Silicon Also spent some time integrating with Apple's Foundation Models framework and understanding how custom models can coexist with Apple's on-device AI stack Still early, but the combination of Core AI, Foundation Models, and the Apple Neural Engine feels like a pretty compelling foundation for local first AI applications Still in alpha and working towards a more stable version, but it's been a fun way to explore where Apple's on device AI ecosystem is headed !!

.Mark Gurman explains why John Ternus is the "only guy" that could become the next CEO of Apple: "All signs are turning towards Ternus." "Ternus is 50. Everyone else on the Apple executive team is late 50s through their mid 60s. Turning 66 this year, in the case of Tim Cook. You're Apple's board, you like continuity, you like an insider, you like people who know what they're doing, and who have been there for a while, they know where the bodies are buried." "At 50, he's the only one. Let's say Tim Cook hangs out for another three to five years. You're not going to appoint another CEO who's 65 or 70 years old. He's the only guy." "Apple gets the vast majority of its revenue from hardware. He's the hardware guy. Have they screwed up any hardware since he's been in charge? No. He's a steady hand who knows what he's doing. He's really the only choice." "A few months ago, he took full control of the Apple Watch engineering team that was co-run with the old COO until he retired." "When they started soft-firing the Head of AI [John Giannandrea], they took the robotic stuff away from him and gave that to Ternus. And then the real news that I broke last week is, even though on paper Tim Cook is running the Apple design teams, he's not. It's Ternus. He took that over at the end of last year."

What is Apple doing in the AI race? Ever since ChatGPT came out in 2022, every tech company realized that generative AI is the next big thing. So, all these companies dropped everything else and started focusing on it first. Google launches Bard and does a bunch of stuff. Microsoft teams up with OpenAI and rolls out a pilot. Adobe launches Firefly. Elon Musk starts his new company, XI. Meta launches the Llama model. Tons of other AI startups pop up, and investors are throwing money at AI like crazy Apple's AI strategy is fascinating because it's playing a completely different game than Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI. While everyone else rushed to build the most powerful language models, Apple took a fundamentally different approach that aligns with their core business model and strengths Apple Intelligence is comprised of multiple highly capable generative models that are specialized for users' everyday tasks, but unlike competitors, Apple isn't trying to win the raw AI power race. Instead, they're leveraging what they've always done best, creating seamless, integrated experiences The key insight you mentioned about revenue models is crucial. While Microsoft makes 48% from cloud services and Google relies heavily on cloud and subscriptions, Apple's business is 80% hardware driven. This means they don't need to compete on cloud AI services they can focus on making AI work better on the devices people already own Apple's four step strategy you outlined is spot on, The "Invisible Model" approach is brilliant because most users don't want to think about which AI model to use. Tim Cook doubled down on Apple's AI strategy, insisting that generative AI was never off the table and was always about pursuing it in a thoughtful kind of way, they're making AI feel natural rather than technical Ecosystem Integration remains Apple's superpower. At WWDC 2025, Apple announced what it calls the Foundation Models framework, which will let developers tap into its AI models while offline, this is huge because it means third party apps can now leverage Apple's AI without internet dependency, something Google and Microsoft can't easily replicate across their fragmented hardware ecosystem The Distribution Advantage is where Apple really shines. They have direct control over 2 billion devices with powerful Apple Silicon chips that can run AI models locally. Apple is still pushing App Intents, the same system that makes it simpler for Apple Intelligence and Siri to use apps and get things done, which will enable those complex multi app workflows you described Building Trust through privacy focused messaging is classic Apple. They're positioning themselves as the "safe" AI option while competitors deal with data privacy concerns The real genius is that Apple doesn't need to build the world's best AI model, they just need to build the best AI experience. By partnering with OpenAI for complex tasks while handling simple ones locally, they're creating a hybrid approach that prioritizes user experience over technical bragging rights The upcoming Apple Intelligence features slated for 2025 demonstrate Apple's commitment to integrating advanced AI technologies into its devices, enhancing user experience, and promoting productivity, suggesting they're still in the early phases of a longer term strategy This approach could indeed "wipe out" Android and Windows in the AI era not by building better models, but by making AI feel like a natural extension of the devices people already love. It's classic Apple, arrive late, but redefine the entire category

Tim Cook and Treachery for Profit A Sunday New York Times profile of outgoing Apple CEO Tim Cook implicitly confirmed his status as the preeminent member of what the Communist Chinese contemptuously call our “captured elite.” In practice, that means he and his company profited immeasurably by systematically betraying this country. Patrick McGee, the author of Apple in China, wrote: “Based on my research, I am convinced that no company has done more to enable President Xi. Since 2008, Apple has worked with suppliers to train 30 million workers, principally in China…facilitat[ing] an epic transfer of practical knowledge in how to make things to hundreds of Chinese factories.” Regretably, Cook’s treachery is not unique. Untold numbers of Wall Street’s “masters of the universe” have used the funds of pensioners, investors in mutual funds and other clients to underwrite China’s menacing military build-up. Treason must no longer pay.

JUST IN: President Trump announces $600 BILLION investment from Apple into the U.S. over the next 4 years—the LARGEST Apple investment into the U.S. Wow. This is MASSIVE. President Trump just stood beside Apple CEO Tim Cook in the Oval Office and made one of the biggest economic announcements in years: “Apple is announcing that it will invest $600 billion, that’s with a B, in the United States over the next four years.” “That’s $100 billion more than they were originally going to invest. And this is the largest investment Apple has ever made in America.” “It’s just an honor to have you. As you know, Apple has been an investor in other countries—I won’t say which ones, but a couple… and they’re coming home.” “$600 billion. That’s the biggest there is.” This is a game-changing moment for U.S. manufacturing and jobs.

A former Apple employee recently dug up this clip of Steve Jobs addressing Apple HQ in July 1999. 2 years after return and Apple near bankruptcy. He talks about iBook success and re-iterates everything Cook said was in their recruiting meeting, including “consumer market back with a vengeance” and he sees “explosive growth” in the category (including iMac). More focused on creatives than enterprise. “The strategic reason that we have this shot is because we're the last company in this business to make the whole widget...the PC industry can't get their act together on this. Hardware. Software. Evangelism. All working together to bring innovation to the marketplace. We can break through those things [together…unlike Dell, Compaq, Microsoft] and bring innovation to customers because we're the last people in this business who give a sh*t about making great computers.” Says their ops is better than Dell (h/t Cook). He's pumped about shipping 5m iBooks and Apple's market cap is ~$15B vs. $3B when Cook joined ($6B sales in 1999). Jobs calls their shot for iPod, iPhone and iPad run: "I think we will really do some awesome stuff in the next few years and make Apple truly great. Not just within our industry but the kind of company that is a great leader period in the world." *** Full 15-min vid (unreal 1999 fits):

JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇨🇳 Apple is lobbying the Trump administration to approve memory chips from CXMT, a Chinese company blacklisted by the Pentagon over alleged military ties. Apple is now seeking lower-cost memory chips as AI-driven demand has pushed memory prices higher. Even if that means sourcing from a company the US has blacklisted over alleged military ties. Apple CEO Tim Cook went public blaming memory suppliers for the company's latest price hikes. Memory makers, however, tell a different story. Micron’s Chief Business Officer, Sadana, told the Wall Street Journal that "certain customers" pushed memory chip prices so low during the last downturn that Micron couldn’t invest enough in expanding production. Although he didn’t name Apple, he suggested those pricing demands led to today’s global memory shortage and the higher prices consumers are now paying.

Tim Cook tells the story of Steve Jobs recruiting him to Apple in 1998. Cook was 37 and at Compaq while Apple had almost gone bankrupt. Friends advised Cook not to do it but Jobs’ convinced him with one phone call: “There was a feeling that I had in talking to Steve, that he was a very different kind of CEO. He was focused on products, products, and products, and had a belief that small teams could do amazing work. I loved that vision. And I also loved that in an environment where everyone was going to an enterprise kind of company, he wanted to refocus Apple on consumers. It was brilliant, because at the time, nobody was doing that. Everybody thought you could not make any money selling to consumers. And, you know, I've never thought it was a good idea to follow the herd. I thought I had a chance of a lifetime to work with the creative genius that started the entire industry, and I didn't want to pass that up…I saw sort of the sparkle in Steve's eye, and it just meant that we could pull out this turnaround for this American treasure.” *** Cook was hired as SVP of Worldwide Operations for $400k (and a $500k signing bonus). He took over as Apple CEO in 2011 after Jobs passed. Since then, he’s overseen Apple’s market cap grow 10x from $360B to $4T (while sales 4x from $108B to $416B). *** Full interview:
