Is Windsurf better than Cursor? impossible to say, but... it does one thing better: soooo... I spent an hour testing windsurf... and this is what i created... and app called "boop-boop" lol... one thing windsurf does is it searches the internet. If you've been watching my videos you know that i go to perplexity all the time to get code examples and docs. but with windsurf you can just say, "search the replicate top image gen models and add them to the chat we just created" It will search the internet, find the right model then write the code. This is great for replicate and openrouter. You can have one api key in your .env file then just tell windsurf to search for docs for [insert ai model] and it will just add it to your app. Impressed tbh.

I tried to see how far I could push my current AI + 3D workflow and build a playable 3D game prototype in just 3 days😶 Not by asking AI to make the whole game in one prompt. I had my own idea, knew what I wanted to build, and used AI as a tool: - for concepting, - asset generation & texturing, - gameplay logic with the new UE 5.8 MCP + Claude Code. $I never believed A.I. could replicate the quality of 3D channels like ZackDFilms. But that is coming to an end. It was always so far off, required so much prompting and you just faced too much bs. However, the gap between A.I and high quality 3D animations really is closing faster than I thought. A person who has barely any editing experience can now make a video like the one I linked below by using Nano Banana Pro + Kling A.I. Yes, it may not be quite there yet. Yes, it still requires a lot of prompting. But this is not slop content. And it's improving rapidly. Those who believe these A.I. videos won't reach the top standard we see in 3D Shorts are just coping imo. Paired with voiceover + sound design, you have a high quality video done for a fraction of the cost and time. The need for advanced skills is disappearing, which has big pros and cons. I'm very curious to see what will be considered as 'high barrier to entry' in the short-form space by the end of next year. The opportunities are endless with A.I. - you have to use it to your advantage.$

Dreamina Seedance 2.0 is by far the best video model I've tried, and Dreamina makes it even better. You can try it in the link below. It's not just about the quality of the output, but about how much control you have over your video's look. Watch my video here. I'm attaching reference images and asking the model to generate a video using them. I can reference each image using the @ symbol to instruct the model which image to use. You can even upload a clip and use its camera movement, styles from an image, and audio vibe from a track. By the way, you can take an existing video and replace, remove, or add elements to it while the model preserves everything else. This is the closest we've gotten to "editing videos like photos".

Here's a little demo I made in Spline v2 using the new AI Agent Mode. This is in the editor, in preview mode. You can try it too, I just gave it this prompt: "Create a cloth simulation and make it interact with this sphere. Let me move the sphere around and grab the cloth. Add a floor and some obstacles." The code can update the geometry of any object in the scene, and play with vertices and normals. I'd love to see what you can create with Spline. Let's go!! 🚀

This is much worse for 3D artists than another AI image generator. Claude takes one architectural reference, connects directly to Blender, and starts rebuilding it as an actual editable scene. It blocks out the buildings, matches the camera, adds materials, vegetation, lighting, and then renders the result. The interesting part is not the first generation. Claude inspects its own render, notices the composition and lighting are wrong, then goes back into Blender and keeps changing the scene. The final result is still rough. The materials look basic, the geometry needs cleanup, and an experienced artist would make it far better. But AI is no longer producing a flat image and pretending it understands 3D. It is operating the software, judging its own work, and iterating inside the real project. The “AI cannot do their actual work” argument is getting harder to defend.
