@akola77 @karpathy This is exactly what I did in my fork today: give the app access to your local Obsidian vault and use CLI to prompt (bonus: you can now use your Claude subscription instead of pay per use API). Having the option to select part of the screen to watch is also a big win.

I was curious how clicky would teach you terminal so I tried it! I mixed manual input + tutor mode. It's kind of magical to have this conversation, but still need a few iterations: 1- an ongoing transcript of her responses for technical tools like terminal so I can easily copy and paste 2- have it less verbose and more "rapid fire-y" wdyt?

I made this tool 4 years ago for helping with customer support emails. Instead of typing, it allows you to compose an email by dragging from predefined blocks with variables. So you only write your blocks once, and then you only combine them with drag and drop into an email. You can also save a set of email blocks as a template. When you choose that template, it lets you fill the variables of the template like a form, and then send it. We only use it internally and now with all the gpt stuff going on it seems pointless to release it. or is it? 🤔

An LLM thinks your database is a Wikipedia article. It doesn't understand its structure or its relationships. GPT-4 scores 63% on relational prediction tasks. That's the best it can do, and that's pretty much useless. You can't expect real-world business value to come from summarizing Wikipedia articles.
