A few weeks ago I gave Opus 4.6 a pack of stage assets in Unreal Engine, had it analyze all the example levels, then told it to build a stage. Platinum #528: Code Violet ...this game and its devs made me sorry to have platinumed it >.< I own some blame here. Trailers looked cheap and janky right away. But PS exclusive with dino horror made me bite day one =/ Took me around 12 hours (with breaks) to wrap it up. Felt way longer. Textures straight out of PS2 days, models blurry and clipping into everything. Combat is just bad. Swings miss half the time, enemies either phase through walls or just spam attacks with zero brains. Soundtrack feels like AI Generated Story throws logs at you about a sci-fi dino lab gone wrong where they use human women eggs to create dinos... but it all falls flat. Empty repeating environments with no life All that for $49.99 HARD pass on this one. Refund it if you grabbed a copy.

In a private server someone asked when they were getting paid for their Erika Kirk Amfest clip. As we know they wiped the whole server of anything related to Erika or TPUSA, Luckily Baron was able to find this message because they misspelled her name. That's the only reason it stayed up because her name was misspelled. Once this person typed out that question, the orders from the mods came down fast: delete it, only use her initials — call her EK, and keep everything looking organic. They even offered a fifteen-dollar bonus just to keep people posting, because the content was getting almost no engagement on its own. Baron found a receipt one of the clippers later posted showing the payment. The person received the money in USDC, a cryptocurrency pegged to the U.S. dollar. This is clearly not organic support. The website went live suspiciously on September 11th, 2025, just 1 day after Charlie's death and the Erika clipping campaign begun September 15th, just 5 days after Charlie's death — with what seems like the express purpose to push Erika Kirk and sell her to the world. Heavily inspired by an ancient Roblox game, I decided to make a fully working Portal Gun in Roblox! Unlike traditional Portal Guns that utilize ViewportFrames and lose resolution when getting close to a portal, and lacks any and all lighting data, this one cuts real holes into world geometry and stitches copies of the world into workspace, relative to the portals. EditableMesh helps a lot with making the "cut a infinitely thin hole into a wall" effect that the original Portal game does. Using some clever math, I can hide "Portal Worlds" when not viewing them directly through the portal, saving on performance and preventing clipping. It's sort of like StencilBuffers, except everything is rendered in real space instead of a separate camera. It's VERY VERY early, and very buggy, but I'm quite happy with the progress I've made on this so far, and will probably be the last thing I post before leaving tomorrow to go to California. The game that inspired me when I was a kid was "Real Portals" by ZeOBot. #Roblox #RobloxDev

This is one of the wildest things I have built with AI so far 😱 Asked Claude Fable 5 to create a fully interactive 3D crime investigation board using Three.js and it did it in ONE Prompt. It took one more prompt to give it a polished UI inspired by a reference design that I created with GPT Image. What surprised me most was not how it looked. It was how it worked. Fable built a complete Verlet rope physics system with 46 particles in every thread. It handled gravity, damping, distance constraints and all other features of file upload, text and everything. The threads/ropes even lift naturally with pinned evidence instead of clipping through it. I never asked it to implement any of that. I only described the experience I wanted. Maybe that's how we should work with AI. Instead of writing long long specs, we should explain what we want as an experience and let AI do its thing. We have infinite data, tools that let you filter terabytes on someone else's computer, and language models to format your queries. I used all that to make a quick retro poster of the Lower 48, something like a 1987 USGS giveaway you’d see on a classroom wall: 1) Google Earth Engine to filter 2013-2024 Landsat 8 scenes, filtered out clouds + cloud-shadows using the "QA_Pixel" band. You get some striping but for this purpose it looks fine. 2) Exported 4x composite images at 1500m resolution, one for each season: autumn, winter, spring and summer 3) Used Eduard to grab a ~300m Mapzen DEM over the continental U.S., cranked up the generalization 4) Match up projections and resolutions in GDAL (went with EPSG:5070, CONUS Albers) 5) Stacked everything in Photoshop, to get that retro look my layers were ordered thus: Levels adjustment layer Imagery layer: 60% opacity, color burn Shaded relief layer underneath 6) Export each to it’s own TIFF 7) Place an Albers raster in a MAPublisher layout, use the MAP View to add my country-outline clipping mask and state boundaries 8) Dupe the MAP Views, replace the geoTIFF with my photoshop output 9) Design work: Franklin Gothic type, added small strokes to the text and blurred the final output a bit to make it look old

We have infinite data, tools that let you filter terabytes on someone else's computer, and language models to format your queries. I used all that to make a quick retro poster of the Lower 48, something like a 1987 USGS giveaway you’d see on a classroom wall: 1) Google Earth Engine to filter 2013-2024 Landsat 8 scenes, filtered out clouds + cloud-shadows using the "QA_Pixel" band. You get some striping but for this purpose it looks fine. 2) Exported 4x composite images at 1500m resolution, one for each season: autumn, winter, spring and summer 3) Used Eduard to grab a ~300m Mapzen DEM over the continental U.S., cranked up the generalization 4) Match up projections and resolutions in GDAL (went with EPSG:5070, CONUS Albers) 5) Stacked everything in Photoshop, to get that retro look my layers were ordered thus: Levels adjustment layer Imagery layer: 60% opacity, color burn Shaded relief layer underneath 6) Export each to it’s own TIFF 7) Place an Albers raster in a MAPublisher layout, use the MAP View to add my country-outline clipping mask and state boundaries 8) Dupe the MAP Views, replace the geoTIFF with my photoshop output 9) Design work: Franklin Gothic type, added small strokes to the text and blurred the final output a bit to make it look old
