Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker owns this. A 7-time convicted felon was back on the streets, and now two police officers have been shot, one killed. This is exactly what happens when you dismantle law and order. Cashless bail didn’t “reform” the system. It released repeat criminals back into our communities. And the people who pay the price? Law-abiding Americans. And the men and women in uniform. The left keeps making excuses for criminals. They call it compassion. It’s NOT compassion. It’s negligence. "Sheriff expects more people will be held in jail, and for a longer period of time. He's worried about staffing." I think the solution is simple. Fund the jails and prisons, build MORE jails and prisons, and keep the criminals away from law-abiding citizens!
