Speaking on the theme “Powering Progress: New Alliances in Digital Governance,” I highlighted our bold journey — built on infrastructure, inclusion, and integrity. From globally benchmarked digital public infrastructure to our leadership in e-governance, Tamil Nadu continues to demonstrate how digital delivery can be citizen-centric and equitable. I also emphasized that internet connectivity is not just a technical necessity but a fundamental pillar of social justice — and that bridging the digital divide is essential for inclusive growth. While India stands at the cusp of an unprecedented global economic realignment, all states must be empowered to compete fairly. Instead of intentionally directed incentives or restricted investment flows, we need a more collaborative Union–State framework that unlocks the full potential of each region. As India’s most industrialized and urbanized state, Tamil Nadu stands ready to lead this next chapter of digital and developmental cooperation.
