He says: - Police took the FIR immediately - The victim’s version was recorded within 24 hours - There was a problem with the age of the victim because there was a case filed in Karimnagar against the family where they called her a major. - Police needed time to ascertain the age. - To arrest Bandi Bageerath during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s police were all busy with the security. - Union Minister Bandi Sanjay would have created law & order problems if we tried to arrest Bandi Bageerath during PM’s visit. - We did everything perfectly. As per my sources, after the interim bail was rejected by the High Court yesterday, the legal counsel of Bandi Bageerath advised Union Minister X to surrender his son to the police since this absconding game is going to be costly when they plead for anticipatory bail on Thursday.
