But then Shermichael Singleton said what no one else on the panel would admit about the meme. TAPPER: “What’s the point that he’s making, Shermichael?... That he wishes he could drop…human feces on his fellow Americans?” SINGLETON: “Look, this is what I think. I think a lot of Republicans look at this, and I’ve texted with a lot of folks about it…they thought it was hilarious.” “Some of my Democratic friends thought it was a little over the top, but even they acknowledged to me, you know, I got to give it to Trump. SHERMICHAEL SINGLETON: Can I just make one point of objection to what Ana just said? You know, in politics, sometimes we make flippant remarks. If we could go back and do it over, we would. Pete Hegseth has served this country honorably- a tour in Afghanistan, a tour in Iraq. I never put on the uniform, but I certainly have a lot of damn respect for the people who do. He led his troops for about a year as a leader, and many of the generals and individuals who gave him a Bronze Star wrote admirably about his leadership position. So I don't think that this is someone who doesn't recognize the importance of war, the toll it takes on families, and that you might indeed pay the ultimate price. And so I think we shouldn't forget that. We may dislike him. You may not like the comment that he made and we could critique maybe it wasn't the right way to word it, but but this is someone who knows war more than anybody at this table that I'm familiar with, and we should keep that in mind.

CNN’s Shermichael Singleton Singleton on last night’s NYC mayoral debate and whether Andrew Cuomo did anything to change the trajectory of the race and a Mamdani victory: “No...I think it’s going to be Mamdani. He’s incredibly talented. As a Republican, I certainly don’t agree with many of his positions. But there is something to be said about the arguments that he’s making to New Yorkers that is palatable. I am concerned about some of his presentations on economics. I’m concerned about the idea of the role of government as it pertains to sort of level setting for people who have economically struggled. I think there’s a different way to go about certain things, but that message is resonating. And if you’re Cuomo, can folks in New York know who Cuomo is? And there’s some real concern about his past misgivings, there’s some concern about some of the things he did as governor. And he didn’t, in my opinion, effectively address those things aggressively enough. Mamdani did. He showcased strength. And even if you’re a New Yorker, you’re curious and maybe say, I don’t disagree with him. You watch that and say, this is a guy who will fight for me, and that moves the needle for voters.”

This man’s dog passed away a few months ago. They used to tie him up to this tree out in the front yard as he loved being outside. They even buried his leash at the base of the tree. As he was walking by the tree they used to tie him up to, they noticed a formation at the bottom of the tree on the trunk and it looks so similar to a photo they have of him. He said he’s aware of pareidolia, where people see patterns or formations in certain things. But he doesn’t believe it is that. I see it. Think it is so cool and beautiful. ❤️ Do you see it? What do you think it is? Ever heard of pareidolia? Think he is seeing what he wants to see? Or, do you think it is definitely a sign of his beloved dog?

This is a longer video than I normally post, but it was a special request. I’m not making a deep theological point or criticism, just found this to be funny. James White was interacting with some Roman Catholics, and they told him that Taco_Talks is the leader of the Protestant movement. Well, James melted down. He got so triggered by it. And you can tell that he doesn’t want to insult Taco, but he sort of does so anyway. It is EXTREMELY clear who James thinks is the leader of the Protestant movement. When I heard this, I instantly thought that the Catholics were trolling him. There is some debate about that, but I don’t care. I WANT to believe (Fox Mulder voice) that he was trolled here, purposely. You can’t convince me otherwise!

WATCH: CNN’s Shermichael Singleton Singleton goes postal on the Hunter Biden pardon, saying this “facade” President Biden and Democrats created as “this great arbiter of morality and truth...protecting norms and institutions of our country” has proven to be utter “trash”... “Democrats portrayed the President as this great arbiter of morality and truth. They said that he somehow was a better standard bearer for protecting norms and institutions of our country and yet, that wasn't true. They lied. You can go all the way back to 2022 when they were asked this question and the White House continuously, consecutively lied over and over and over again. They could have simply said to MJ's point, to Chuck's point, the President isn't going to put his thumb on the scales of justice. He's going to wait. He hasn't made a decision yet. Most people would have expected that. They would have respected that. I think most people, to your point, Chuck, believed if it was my child, I probably would have done the same thing. That's not the issue, Jake. The question here, the burden on the White House, I would argue, is the continuous lies. You said that you were better than this other guy. You criticized the other guy for all of these things. And now, your DOJ is committing witch hunts and this is now politicized, where you appointed Merrick Garland. You can't blame Republicans for that and I can only imagine, as I've talked to a lot of Republicans, if this were Donald Trump and I know people are going to give him a lot of criticism for the pardons he's already given, but if this were him and Don Jr. or Eric Trump or Ivanka, I can only imagine what the headlines would have been. Rory McIlroy has never minced his words when it comes to his views on LIV Golf. He was asked about it again yesterday, and in typical Rory fashion, after saying he was “too judgemental” with players that went, he then said “if you want to be the most competitive golfer you can be, this (PGA Tour) is the place to be. And if you don't want to play here, I think that says something about you.” Speaking after a 5 under par 67 to climb inside the top 10 of the Truist Championship, Rory spoke about his thoughts on the news that the Saudi Arabian PIF was pulling funding to the league: “Yeah, look, I think everyone sort of knows my views on LIV and where it stands in the game of golf. I don't think I need to rehash any of that. It's never been for me and, look, it doesn't mean that LIV is going to go away. They're going to go and try and find alternative investment, whatever that may look like. But when one of the wealthiest sovereign wealth funds in the world thinks that you're too expensive for them, that sort of says something (laughing).” He then was asked what a possible route back for players to the PGA Tour would look like: “It's a question if they do want to come back. Obviously we have seen the quotes over the last few days. And, you know, it seems like some of the guys, if -- again, it all depends on what happens to LIV. But if it is a scenario where they have the option to come back and play on the traditional tours, you know, I think Brian Rolapp has said anything that makes this Tour stronger, anything that makes the DP World Tour stronger, I think everyone should be open to that. I do believe he's for transparency and honest discussion about what we know about vaccines in terms of their safety and efficacy. He attacks other people based on what they look like or who they pray to or who they love.. He tries to divide Americans because he struggles with uplifting all Americans.
