And, look, I’m glad that the guy lost. We should be clear about the types of ethics and morals we want in our party and from our elected officials. Senator Bernie Marino has talked exhaustively about what his daughter has experienced, his concern about his daughter and his granddaughter. I have no reason at all to doubt a Republican senator, a father, a husband about allegations of her former spouse against her. That, for me, as a husband, as a father, is enough to say this guy has to get out of the race. He refuses to get out of the race. So, what does that ultimately mean? You may indeed make a strong +R district now competitive to a Democrat, because there are going to be a lot of voters there that are going to look at this guy and say, look, I’m a Republican, I’m a conservative, or I lean to the right, but I don’t want to support someone who’s alleged to have abused their spouse. That is problematic for a lot of voters, and understandably so.”
