FLAT GHOST Simple and EXTREMELY effective. This is a STAPLE of Daigneault that I love. We call it ‘flat’. - screen is below the 3PT line with butt to the baseline - typically used in inverted or G2G actions - punishes a switch - great end of clock/end of game when switching is assumed - usually forces the D to put 2 on the ball, creating a 2 on 1 on the weakside Common mistakes: - setting the screen to high, pulling the pop out of range. This is an oldie but ever so applicable with summer coming to a close in the northern hemisphere. That rough around the greens is healthy and happy. Try this if you are less than 2 feet into the rough. It’s a great escape shot to have in your arsenal! Ball behind trail foot / Putter delofted to project the ball INTO the turf / You’ll typically hit this shot softer than you might anticipate / Ball will pop up and over the rough before landing in the fringe and trickling up to the hole. Give it a go!

🚨🚨I AM EXTREMELY BULLISH 🚨🚨 I walked into UNIQLO today in NYC and saw employees live shopping. This will probably grow into $1 trillion industry alone, overtime. Brands that start doing this immediately will get the first mover advantage. Interactive live shopping is the future as customers can put questions in the open chat and ask employees to try on different outfits live. But it won’t stop at clothing. If you are a Small Business, particularly a coffee shop or a café I would start Live shopping making different coffees and experimenting - overtime you will drive insane traffic. If you are in the jewelry business selling watches, I would start live streaming your sales, especially your online auctions if you sell on eBay. Mark my words, live shopping will be huge. Every major flagship retail outlet on fifth avenue should start doing this, it would even be worth it to build a small studio section in the store and overtime you will grow spectators that will come in just to watch the live stream.

I came across this clip of Carlos Alcaraz doing this simple but effective drill to help with his ball toss when serving It immediately made me think about how these amazing players in ANY sport don't skip the basics I see it everyday with golf, the recreational golfer isn't willing to do the smallest, most basic things in order to help themselves acheive their goals They say they want one thing but their actions don't show they will achieve it Golfers always want to hit driver as hard as they can, they skip the importance of setting up to the ball correctly, they don't like changing their terrible grip because it "feels weird" Yet the best tennis player on the planet is working on his ball toss in order to ensure he can serve the ball to the best of his abilities It's these 1% efforts that can help you achieve exactly what you want. Hills I will die on as someone who has coached high school football for over 29 years: 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to coach, this profession is not for you. 2. As much as we need to know our trade, getting to know (and to love), our players is far more important. 3. This is an INTENSE game, and it’ll never be “just a game”, but it IS a game. Remember that when you’re with your team, and more importantly, remember that when you’re with your family. 4. Just as we teach our athletes to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our athletes better than they were when they first entered into our program. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every individual. 5. Life is complicated enough, let’s not complicate the game in such a way that we take the joy of it away from others. In other words… Keep it simple. 6. Our words carry little (or NO), value, if we don’t practice what we preach. WE as coaches should be learning and growing each and every day, just as we expect our athletes to. 7. As much as we all want to win those championship rings for our athletes, make sure you don’t lose your wedding ring in the process. 8. The athlete that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Be where your feet are. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing logos and thinking that a higher division, a bigger school, or going from HS to college, or even college to the pros, is going to be more rewarding or fulfilling. 10. Have athletes perform them body weight first for sets of 8-10. A easy way to practice these weekly, is to just include BW reps in your warm up. Overtime, athletes will get better and will load them up.

The midair ballet of the bald eagle is definitely a courtship ritual, but this same behavior can also be the result of a territorial dispute. In my experience, a dominant female will always be the aggressor. The dynamics are interesting to watch. If she has not eaten, she will attack any others who get too close to her spot by grabbing them by the talons, swinging them around in circles, and tossing them below. It appears to be an act of humiliation with the dominant bird claiming victory over territory and food. If she has eaten, she doesn’t seem to mind sharing and will usually “allow” others to come into her territory and feed.

I'm an artist, and for a long time now, my work has been about catching viral words and cultural moments that define our time and turning them into art. If order to hit a big league fastball your brain needs to decide to pull the trigger roughly 25 feet from the ball reaching the plate…. In order to do that, your eyes must be oriented at a spot 25 feet to your left for a righty or 25 feet to your right if you are a lefty…. This begs the question what is the point of hitting off of a tee?…The body will never work the same vs a live ball…. Look how different Mike Trout looks when hitting off of a tee vs hitting a live ball…Watch his left arm and left shoulder do completely different things. The right forearm supinates vs an overhand pitch but it pronates vs the tee…. It’s a function of where the biceps inserts onto the radius. There isn’t a hitter on earth that will use the same swing mechanics off of a tee as they will vs an overhand pitch.

🚨WEIRD SCORING RULE ALERT🚨 This is from today’s SFGiants at Colorado Rockies game. This was ruled a pop out and an RBI, but not a sacrifice fly. The rule in MLB is a sacrifice fly must be caught by an outfielder, or an infielder running into the outfield. I believe this will get appealed and changed as Devers is running into the outfield, and the fact that he stopped running to catch it doesn’t negate that. The scorer might be ruling this not a sacrifice fly because it was caught by an infielder, missing the “infielder running into the outfield” caveat. In college, this is a sacrifice fly because college doesn’t have the infielder rule.

Over a year ago I started my journey with Bitcoin. Like most, I was just curious. But as I studied it, I realized Satoshi Nakamoto didn’t just build Bitcoin. He built a world where anyone could create in his spirit. He built something that lasts. That inspired me to build. To build sports on chain and stack Satoshi’s across chains.
