Woke Teachers in her high school call her “hateful.” We call her “hero.” The way some adult employees of the New Richmond School District are treating Ella Frei is disgraceful. She is a student. They are the adults. Ella has shown more maturity, more calm, and more courage than the teachers and school officials who have mocked, dismissed, and targeted her for speaking the truth. Calling a teenage girl a “hater” because she stands for privacy and common sense is not leadership. It is bullying.

Teachers like @AbbeyClements were trained to teach, not to be the first line of defense for our children. But, now, teachers are forced to endure active shooter drills, plan for the worst case scenario, or survive the unthinkable. Some are even asked to arm themselves. This is not acceptable. We will never stop fighting until our schools are safe from the threat of gun violence. #DNC2024

Cobb County Georgia State Thugs arrest a Brinks armored car driver for having expired tags on the armored truck. Due to the potential large amounts of cash the protocol is for the driver to never open the door even for police. If the police want to issue a ticket their protocol is to follow the truck to the Brinks secure location. One thing I appreciate about Black people, and especially the NAACP, is that we will not be moved. When a man carrying a Confederate flag showed up to disrupt the Juneteenth celebration in Cobb County, the response was simple and effective: he must have needed some exercise. We refused to be distracted, intimidated, or deterred from celebrating freedom, history, and community. That’s who we are. The Cookout continues. #NAACP #CobbCounty #Georgia #Juneteeth
