It's probably the worst feeling you can experience as a football fan. Some of us have been through it and out the other end, and for some of us this is the first time. If there is one huge positive to come out of this utterly dreadful season, then without question, it is us, the fans. We have come a very, very long way since a small group of us got together in 2022. This year in particular, we have exploded into action, and none of it would have been possible without the commitment given and the belief shown by so many people in this group. Truly, thank you to everyone who has helped us to get to where we are. We have brought friendships together. We have shown some much needed community spirit. We have created the pre-match concourse (which was absolutely insane today by the way). We have self organised our fan-made flags, adding some character and visual atmosphere to the stadium. We have funded and organised a tifo tribute to Ludo, one of our greatest West Ham heroes of all time. We have trialled vocal sections in the ground. And we won't be stopping here. In fact, we're just getting started. As well as the positives of having no VAR, no tourists, less commerialism, winning more (hopefully), and a whole year without having to listen to Gary Neville, a season in the championship gives this group a huge opportunity to organise ourselves properly and become a permanent fixture in a stadium that so badly needs something. Once the dust has settled, we will turn our attention towards planning for next season. We encourage anyone who wants to be surrounded by likeminded vocal fans to relocate to 142 - 147. Again, thank you everyone for believing in the IWA project. Enjoy your summers, and the further World cup disappointment with England.. We build from the bottom, and rise to the top. ⚒️

A pain 💔 and sleepless nights for 2 years that finally ended and was resolved in a week 🙏🏾 You may find that you are going through the same, read this 👇🏾 This client contacted View4You after battling for almost 2 years with MIOSA and dealership. We got involved, did the inspection and provided our report. MIOSA then ruled in favour of the client and said the car must be repaired. However the dealership did not repair the car as per ruling, we were grateful for the ruling however we felt it was unfair to rule that the dealership should repair, this ruling should have been a full refund or to replace the car as it was a lemon 🍋, unsafe to drive and not roadworthy!! Keep in mind this client has been paying insurance and instalments for a car she is not using, it’s either stuck in her yard or at the dealership 😔, the finance house had refused to uplift this deal and stated the client must sort it out with the dealership. We all know how that goes, it’s straight into a brick wall !! The dealership refused to repair the car, which made us happy because we knew where this will end up. The matter returned to MIOSA, MIOSA then issued a closing letter for the case to be escalated to The NCC. This did not sit well with our Founder, he then made some high-level calls to the finance house which was ABSA, and within a week this deal was uplifted and the process of paying the client back all their instalments started. This story is a reality many people in South Africa are faced with, they are driving lemons 🍋 🍋 because they trusted the dealership. So listen to these findings. ABSA does not finance salvaged cars. The dealership had lied to ABSA, as many others do to their financing houses, and sold this car as non-salvage and accident-free. That is why they did not entertain the client. The client then also didn’t know the car was a salvage car until we at View4You inspected the car and found out not only was it a salvage, this should be scrap metal, not roadworthy, unsafe, it was in a terrible accident🙏🏾 The culprits here are the Car Dealerships, they are not being honest with the finance houses !!! Well you could be a victim because you trusted the dealership and you are now driving a salvaged car unknowingly!!! Dramatic, spiritual, heavy on the “I’m the chosen connector” vibe. Pair that with the recent Cabin in the Woods defense by Robert Maxwell (needle scaling arguing massive heads, rebuttals to image manipulation and props, eye sizing). They make some strong technical points. I’ll link Robert’s full video in the replies. Dr. Jeff Meldrum is consistently objective and measured in his language. Todd even does the head-size demo—glasses, ruler—looking genuinely excited that his own head couldn’t possibly match. This is just a hypothesis I want to rule out before making any firmer judgments. Without raw, unedited video files (full metadata, longer takes, multiple angles), we can’t verify whether simple post-production enlargement or compositing happened. Todd releases edited clips, cites protection/editing choices, and teases “more coming,” but that selective pattern—plus his production background and history of selling “ultimate proof” DVDs—keeps the red flags flying. The Walker Kessler criticism is a perfect example of people confusing contract talk with basketball evaluation. Because on film, Kessler is a legitimate defensive anchor. He has strong post defense, absorbs contact well, keeps his chest square, and contests with verticality instead of constantly reaching. He plays with his hands high, makes himself huge at the rim, and has great timing as a shot blocker. What stands out most is his defensive IQ. He reads pick-and-roll actions well, moves his feet better than people give him credit for, and can stay attached long enough against smaller forwards/guards to recover back into the play. He tracks the ball, doesn’t quit on possessions, and gives you real chase-down/rim protection value. And in the clip, some of the same players people are listing over him are the ones he’s meeting at the rim. KAT Wemby Zubac Jokic Embiid Jarrett Allen Sabonis Naz Reid Offensively, he is not just standing in the dunker spot doing nothing. He runs the floor, fills the correct lanes, creates easy transition buckets, understands high P&R spacing, has good touch around the basket, great footwork in the post, has a strong drop step, creates contact in the post creating space for easy points, crashes the offensive glass, and has shown enough shooting touch to at least make defenses think. He’s not perfect. He still has areas to grow. But pretending he can’t play, or that he’s just another replaceable center, is lazy analysis. The Lakers didn’t just pay for what he is today. They paid for a 24-year-old defensive anchor with size, mobility, rim protection, rebounding, effort, and upside next to Luka. He is the exact type of player Lakers need. Luka is going to help elevate his game even more. Kessler will be an All Star within the next season or two!

Yep. It does exist but you certainly have to look for it. An example video at the bottom. The thing with DOA's KBD is that it not only varies by usage, but it varies by characters as well so it's not inherently universal. Some characters are very very good with it, while some are within the average to not so well with it. It's typically more niche than the standard movement in DOA because DOA's movement system and buffering system is very loose where you have multiple options on how you'd want to move. In DOA, some characters have backflips so that they don't have to KBD. Some characters lack the option to a backflip so they have to KBD, but the usage for it is very different compared to other games. For starters, backdashing in general for DOA has a CH penalty attached to it similar to VF if you get hit. It's basically the consequence for abusing it due to how free the movement is in DOA, it's very very loose & free in where it's actually almost very easy to do in DOA to the point you can go across the room in seconds. At times, you'd only be KBDing at specific moments which is typically: - Mid-range punishment - Wake up kick whiff punishment (especially near the wall after a wall splat) - Moves that land on block with specific pushback & are very safe. - Trying to force camera and positioning to specific parts of the arena like the water for CH lows for guaranteed launchers - Life lead in baiting people to get closer because they are fishing for your CH backdash, so some characters have good keepout attacks that are good if it lands in CH when they are running in etc. Outside of those you would typically try not to abuse it in every scenario because CH on DOA is a huge deal due to how the stun system works. Some moves won't stun on NH, but they will certainly stun on CH. It has more positive than negatives, but it's very character specific that you'll not only need character matchup knowledge to know what's incoming for mid-range situations, but a lot of situational awareness on the arena so that you don't get backed into a wall or properly timing a whiff punish. Akira from VF who's a guest character in DOA5LR in the video for example has an excellent version of it and probably the best looking one because it's more obvious than some characters in the roster and looks the cleanest, on top that his is very useful since he also has great whiff punishment options. Personally i'm on the opinion that you should give the game a try, and try out KBD even just for fun in training mode without having to go for netplay, and then decide from there if DOA gets rollback in the future.

Akira from VF who's a guest character in DOA5LR in the video for example has an excellent version of it and probably the best looking one because it's more obvious than some characters in the roster and looks the cleanest, on top that his is very useful since he also has great whiff punishment options. Personally i'm on the opinion that you should give the game a try, and try out KBD even just for fun in training mode without having to go for netplay, and then decide from there if DOA gets rollback in the future.

Introducing… 🐾The Forgotten Field Project🐾 What began as a simple errand to the dollar store last week, became a desperate situation Priya Gandolf’s Legacy Cat Rescue could not walk away from. Movement in the field next door caught Priya’s eye. Six abandoned 4 wk old kittens without their mother. A baby mother herself, barely six months old, with eyes clearly indicating illness, trying to care for 4 tiny two-week-old kittens. Her head sticking out of a makeshift shelter, eyes festering and a pleading look for help. She showed no fear, perhaps too unwell to run, or too weak. Cats running everywhere. Some terribly thin. Some appeared sick. Many with goopy, infected eyes. And a couple appear possibly pregnant. There are obvious signs that someone, at some point, had tried to help… Old makeshift shelters. Empty food dishes long dried up by the sun. But now they’re left alone, sick, hungry and a couple appear possibly pregnant. Priya hurried to get food and water, and they ate and drank with wild desperate hunger and thirst. This is not just a handful of cats. This is an unmanaged colony of approximately 30 fur babies living beside a dollar store, in an empty lot thick with brambles. Unsafe from road traffic, a busy parking lot, predators who roam the area. Trapped in the cruel cycle of kittens having kittens. It’s not a “lovely spot out in the woods”. We have managed many colonies over the years, and coming upon this tragedy never, ever! gets easy. And it never comes at a time when it’s financially or spatially feasible to help them. Because in rescue, perfect timing hardly ever exists. And wasting time and your breath harping about the neglect and cold hearted actions of humans…is well, just that. You just do…because turning your back would only be more of what has already been done to them! And they deserve Help. Food. Vet care. Relief. Love. Home. A Safe Soft place to land. So starting now and over this summer, with your help, we are taking this colony on as a full Rescue and TNR project. The Forgotten Field Project will focus on: • Regularly feeding every cat • Rescuing the adoptable ones/finding homes • Vet care/Treating all the sick and injured ones first! • TNR’ing the feral cats. Hopefully relocating them perhaps into a barn cat program, as releasing them back to this location is not the ideal place for them to be. And/or hopefully, finding homes that are willing to house and work with the feral ones. Some are just more “feral” than others and can be rehabilitated. Honestly, when the fear is handled, so is the “feral” in so many cases. They need a chance to discover what love is! • And most importantly… fixing all of them to STOP this heartbreaking vicious cycle of suffering and reproduction. This will not happen overnight. It’s a huge undertaking.🦾 It will take food, vetting, medication, spay/neuter appointments, recovery space, patience, and an enormous amount of community support. But we cannot turn our backs now that we’ve seen them, we must do. ❣️The six abandoned 4 wk old kittens are already safe with us and, thanks to your help, have their first vet visits on Wednesday, 5/20. Safe and loved, their lives are changed forever. Next up… 🚨 Immediate priority is to get the Momma with the goopy eyes and her 4 little kittens out. Though it appears it might be just infected eyes, it’s imperative that we get her out now, to get vet care. She’s nursing 4 babies, and she needs proper care, nutrition and a proper place to nurse and raise her babies. A mosquito laden, picker weed field, filled with fleas and ticks, in the soon to be sweltering Georgia heat is not that place! Hopefully, $200-$300 might prove to be sufficient for her vet bill, but there will be food to consider. And as the kittens grow, they will need their vetting as well. We expect that this could be at least an ~ $8000 project. Possibly more, depending on illness discovered. But we’ll start with one foot in front of the other. And continue. One cat at a time. One full belly at a time. One life changed at a time. If you can help us help them, we would be endlessly grateful. I WENT TO THE GAME ALONE. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️ Here’s my experience: Because of my job, I’m lucky enough to be used to travelling by myself, so buying a single ticket and flying down to Miami didn’t feel that daunting. But I was still cautious. The 02:45 alarm call on Saturday wasn’t much fun and then I managed to miss the exit off the highway to the airport as I was singing ‘It’s Coming Home’ at the top of my voice in the car and had to rush to get through security to the gate! ☺️ I was surprised to have found a direct flight to Miami from Tulsa that got me in at 09:00, so it was an Uber to the Hyatt Place hotel at the airport who kindly let me have breakfast and get in a room at 11:00 to shower and get ready. Flawless. That’s the word I’d use for the organisation of transportation and logistics in Miami. Just flawless. A $15 Uber ride took me to the Martin Luther King train station (one of 4 pick-up points) where lines and lines of yellow school buses stood, each taking 50 or so ticketed fans the 11 miles to the game. Of course England and Norway shirts dominated, but it really felt like a carnival of football with tops from various countries and clubs to be seen here and there. And, man, was it hot!! As we jumped off the bus, in front of us hydration stations had been set up. Complete with electrolyte powder to mix with the iced water from huge tanks. And did I sweat a lot in the next 8 hours! So having downed a few litres of water it was a half mile walk to the stadium. Police everywhere, roads closed, huge energy, fantastic atmosphere. (Lots of locals stood at the end of the driveway with huge signs trying to sell their drive as a parking space for the night. What entrepreneurs!) I didn’t touch alcohol due to the heat - but the bars and food outlets were packed outside the stadium as a carnival atmosphere prevailed. Before heading to my seat I was able to meet a few Albion fans (Sam Harte, Ian Harte, Nick Blanco, Derek Chapman et al) which was brilliant. There we all were, 3500 miles from the AMEX! 💙🤍 I’d only bought a seat on Thursday and had a huge stoke of luck when I found it was bang in the middle of the England end. And what a fantastic group. Everyone introducing themselves to each other and sharing stories of the footballing summer so far. Passionate. Knowledgable. And just salt of the earth characters. As for the game? Well, the chanting was incessant, orchestrated by the England drummer and trumpeter how stood just a few rows behind me. We were together. We were united. And, call me old-fashioned, but it felt very healthy; it felt special. And I felt so lucky to be part of it. The game happened, you’ve seen it, no need for me to linger on that. But at the end there was a lad who was just in tears of joy. Must’ve been in his early 20s and it was clear how much England meant to him. He just couldn’t stop! It was pretty moving to witness. I manage to grab a couple of England jerseys on the way out (only XXXL left, but that’s what Mrs Bard asked for anyway as seems the fashion) and then it was a walk back to the buses in the oppressive heat and under the blinding floodlights of the walkways as random England chants erupted from various pockets of the 1000s of us walking from the stadium. The atmosphere was electric. It was a 90 min wait for a bus but the stewards did a great job and I was back in my hotel to watch the last few minutes of Argentina beating the Swiss in extra time. You know, I’m not a fan of FIFA, and despite football playing a huge part in my life, I was a little cynical about the World Cup in the build up. But as I left the stadium last night, the world felt a better place. It’s been an amazing tournament, but not because of the FIFA suits, but because of the fans. It occurred to me that, just for a while, because of football, division and politics has been replaced with humanity and wholesomeness. And that’s just what the world needs right now. ⚽️❤️

Dumbing Down II "By Faith, this is the last rent I am paying as a single lady. If you support me to pay this rent, by the grace of God, this time next year, I will be in my husband's house." is back begging for support to pay another rent. Not because God didn't bring eligible suitors her way, but because her PASTOR has replaced the Holy Spirit in her life. Pastors ruin a lot of destinies when they insist on playing God instead of their primary role as destiny guides. Many members have submitted their free will to their pastors, giving their pastors the power that God himself didn't take from us from the dawn of creation. When you take the ability of the individual to act as a free agent in the name of religion, you reduce him or her to a puppet and yourself to a puppeteer. You want to pull the strings of the lives of thousands of born-again Christians at the same time while rendering them useless to follow their paths in Christ and grow into mature sons. I was at a Church in Anthony village about three years ago to minister, and I met this young man who was schooled at a very prestigious university in the USA. He was the in-house IT consultant of the church, and the pastor placed him on a monthly stipend while he was working for God. It was the Pastor who introduced the young man to me while boasting that God had given him the most capable hands to help him in ministry. I asked him if he had any Python, Java, cloud engineering, data management, digital marketing, coding, or similar tasks available for the young man in the church. He said no. I said, "You are giving this young man the job that any young school leaver who is proficient in computer appreciation can do, and you don't see it as limiting his capabilities and rendering his skills obsolete?" You would rather boast that you are ruining a destiny to build up your own profile rather than set this young man on the path of excellence? Did God call him into ministry as a preacher? Is he understudying you in preparation for his own ministry? The pastor said, "No, I plan that as the church expands, he will head our digital infrastructure and position us for the future." I said, "He can do that as a consultant or even as a member, he shouldn't be doing that while you are paying him 100,000 Naira a month. He should be out there, flying with his peers and earning in dollars! The only exception is if the Lord has called him to be a preacher and he is understudying you as your personal assistant, as led by the Lord as part of his season of preparation. Anything other than that is injurious to his destiny!" The pastor had never seen it that way When I was done ministering in the church, the young man hugged me and thanked me profusely. He said his mother sent him to the pastor when he returned from the USA and the pastor immediately told him that God had need of him in the ministry or he would die without fulfilling his purpose. Why do pastors do this? I have another case from the Northern part of Nigeria. A young lady reached out to me seeking clarity regarding her future She said her Apostle told her she has been raised by God to sing in his church choir, but she is a medical doctor by training and desires to further her studies abroad Every time she raised the issue with the Apostle, he shut her down and told her she was struggling with the will of God "Why can't you just submit to God and serve in the choir and watch as God will take your voice all over the world as this ministry grows?" The young lady said she knows she has a good voice and sings very well as one who is full of the Holy Spirit, but she does not want to be "Sinach", she wants to fulfil her dream of practising as a Pediatrician. She was wary of incurring the wrath and curse of the Apostle, however, and did not know how to extricate herself from the situation. The apostle did not see anything wrong with his actions because he was a user of people who believed that in order to fulfill his own desire to become a big ministry, others could not thrive and grow in their visions and ministries as ordained by God. This is witchcraft. It is not of God. Jesus didn't lead his disciples this way. Insecurity is the undoing of many African so-called Pastors and Spiritual leaders, and they hide behind the illusion of divinity to put others in bondage. I experienced this firsthand as a young graduate, so I understand how a pastor trying to build his ministry could see the potential in a young man or woman and try very hard to turn such a person into servants and house helps in the name of discipling them or training them for kingdom relevance You graduate from the University and join the labour force, you apply for many jobs, and at a point, you tell yourself it is important to seek supernatural guidance in your quest to fulfil destiny Somebody somewhere tells you about a church or a ministry, you join, and you are convinced the church is good. You also tell your friends, and they join. But you are all fresh graduates who are heading into the future one way or the other, but this pastor wants you to be his flock. To him, his church of ten members had suddenly become a church of 30 members because of you guys, and he wants to keep the numbers growing, so he begins to give you prophesies that were not of God but with the aim of keeping you in the fold for as long as possible. He told young graduates who ought to go for NYSC that God is telling him they should give it up for service to God in the vineyard. The mother of two of the ladies in the fellowship, whose daughters told that the pastor told them not to go for NYSC, quickly removed them from the fellowship before the seed of corruption being planted by this pastor would bear fruit The others also left as soon as they could gather their wit People who you ought to guide on their path in sincerity ran as far as they could from you based on how you chose to manipulate rather than nurture them. A married woman whose husband worked abroad was a trained secretary, and while her husband was abroad, catering to the needs of the family, he begged her to stop working so that she could focus on raising the children. She was raising five children all by herself, and combining this with a job seemed a bit too much at the time. One of the vital institutions for raising godly children was the church This woman attended church regularly with her children and even volunteered to spend any free time she had typing the pastor's sermons, Sunday School pamphlets, handouts, books, journals, and other church reports and documents She was not officially employed to do the work; she just saw that she could take some of the secretarial duties on during her downtime, and she did so with all sincerity. The church enjoyed her free services for five years until the pastor forgot completely that she was doing the church a favour One day, the woman came to church to tell the pastor that her husband would be returning home to visit the family, and she would not be available for a few days because she had to pick her husband up from the airport and ensure that he settled in properly. Followers are also enablers as they refuse to read the Bible for themselves and walk in the light of the word of God. No one should be able to take you captive in the name of God, Jesus, all the angels, or any form of miracle if you know the word of God. The word of God is profitable to make one wise, and therefore, anyone who knows the word of God cannot fall victim to any false doctrine, teaching, spiritual manipulations, or lies. All the false teachings of someone being a covering for someone else came from these manipulative narratives, and believers should be wise to them. I have seen a pastor declare that his church is the only church in Africa that is licensed by God to take people to heaven, and some members believed him. The day he said that, all his members ought to laugh, pick up their Bibles, and leave without looking back. Self-aggrandisement has become the order of the day in some churches, the pastor sells himself as the be-all and end-all of the member's spiritual enlightenment, and the members sheepishly surrender their eyes of their understanding to him or her. He or she must determine where they work, whom they marry, who they associate with, whose music they must listen to, and whose sermons they must hear. If they want to travel, he must see if the road is clear on their behalf, if they want to build a house, he must approve, if he does not dedicate their baby, the baby is illegitimate. This is not the faith Christ or the Apostles died for. Jesus died that you might be free of religion. Christianity is not a religion, it is the opposite. It is individualistic and determined by the faith and belief system of the one rather than the many. Salvation, therefore, is a personal affair, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is also a personal affair Religion is the opium of the masses, and Christianity is the salvation of the individual and his or her walk with God. When we fellowship together, we do so not so we can get brainwashed by one "super Christian" but so that we can minister to the Lord and minister to one another in the presence of God. Not because God didn't bring eligible suitors her way, but because her PASTOR has replaced the Holy Spirit in her life. Pastors ruin a lot of destinies when they insist on playing God instead of their primary role as destiny guides. Many members have submitted their free will to their pastors, giving their pastors the power that God himself didn't take from us from the dawn of creation. When you take the ability of the individual to act as a free agent in the name of religion, you reduce him or her to a puppet and yourself to a puppeteer. You want to pull the strings of the lives of thousands of born-again Christians at the same time while rendering them useless to follow their paths in Christ and grow into mature sons. I was at a Church in Anthony village about three years ago to minister, and I met this young man who was schooled at a very prestigious university in the USA. He was the in-house IT consultant of the church, and the pastor placed him on a monthly stipend while he was working for God. It was the Pastor who introduced the young man to me while boasting that God had given him the most capable hands to help him in ministry. I asked him if he had any Python, Java, cloud engineering, data management, digital marketing, coding, or similar tasks available for the young man in the church. He said no. I said, "You are giving this young man the job that any young school leaver who is proficient in computer appreciation can do, and you don't see it as limiting his capabilities and rendering his skills obsolete?" You would rather boast that you are ruining a destiny to build up your own profile rather than set this young man on the path of excellence? Did God call him into ministry as a preacher? Is he understudying you in preparation for his own ministry? The pastor said, "No, I plan that as the church expands, he will head our digital infrastructure and position us for the future." I said, "He can do that as a consultant or even as a member, he shouldn't be doing that while you are paying him 100,000 Naira a month. He should be out there, flying with his peers and earning in dollars! The only exception is if the Lord has called him to be a preacher and he is understudying you as your personal assistant, as led by the Lord as part of his season of preparation. Anything other than that is injurious to his destiny!" The pastor had never seen it that way When I was done ministering in the church, the young man hugged me and thanked me profusely. He said his mother sent him to the pastor when he returned from the USA and the pastor immediately told him that God had need of him in the ministry or he would die without fulfilling his purpose. Why do pastors do this? I have another case from the Northern part of Nigeria. A young lady reached out to me seeking clarity regarding her future She said her Apostle told her she has been raised by God to sing in his church choir, but she is a medical doctor by training and desires to further her studies abroad Every time she raised the issue with the Apostle, he shut her down and told her she was struggling with the will of God "Why can't you just submit to God and serve in the choir and watch as God will take your voice all over the world as this ministry grows?" The young lady said she knows she has a good voice and sings very well as one who is full of the Holy Spirit, but she does not want to be "Sinach", she wants to fulfil her dream of practising as a Pediatrician. She was wary of incurring the wrath and curse of the Apostle, however, and did not know how to extricate herself from the situation. The apostle did not see anything wrong with his actions because he was a user of people who believed that in order to fulfill his own desire to become a big ministry, others could not thrive and grow in their visions and ministries as ordained by God. This is witchcraft. It is not of God. Jesus didn't lead his disciples this way. Insecurity is the undoing of many African so-called Pastors and Spiritual leaders, and they hide behind the illusion of divinity to put others in bondage. I experienced this firsthand as a young graduate, so I understand how a pastor trying to build his ministry could see the potential in a young man or woman and try very hard to turn such a person into servants and house helps in the name of discipling them or training them for kingdom relevance You graduate from the University and join the labour force, you apply for many jobs, and at a point, you tell yourself it is important to seek supernatural guidance in your quest to fulfil destiny Somebody somewhere tells you about a church or a ministry, you join, and you are convinced the church is good. You also tell your friends, and they join. But you are all fresh graduates who are heading into the future one way or the other, but this pastor wants you to be his flock. To him, his church of ten members had suddenly become a church of 30 members because of you guys, and he wants to keep the numbers growing, so he begins to give you prophesies that were not of God but with the aim of keeping you in the fold for as long as possible. He told young graduates who ought to go for NYSC that God is telling him they should give it up for service to God in the vineyard. The mother of two of the ladies in the fellowship, whose daughters told that the pastor told them not to go for NYSC, quickly removed them from the fellowship before the seed of corruption being planted by this pastor would bear fruit The others also left as soon as they could gather their wit People who you ought to guide on their path in sincerity ran as far as they could from you based on how you chose to manipulate rather than nurture them. A married woman whose husband worked abroad was a trained secretary, and while her husband was abroad, catering to the needs of the family, he begged her to stop working so that she could focus on raising the children. She was raising five children all by herself, and combining this with a job seemed a bit too much at the time. One of the vital institutions for raising godly children was the church This woman attended church regularly with her children and even volunteered to spend any free time she had typing the pastor's sermons, Sunday School pamphlets, handouts, books, journals, and other church reports and documents She was not officially employed to do the work; she just saw that she could take some of the secretarial duties on during her downtime, and she did so with all sincerity. For example, when I first started becoming interested in the subject of Q, some “influencers” had me believe that Q was secretly JFK Jr, the Q group were Time-travelers, or that celebrities who died were taken into witness protection. lol It wasn’t until I sat down and read every single Q drop like a book that I realized Q never said any of this stuff. That realization began my journey to actually start researching EVERYTHING for myself. And now I dedicate myself to this movement everyday. Urban redevelopment at its best! The Kazanchis area in #Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Abeba. My family lived in Kazanchis a long time ago before we moved to the U.S. It has now been beautifully redeveloped beyond recognition. Congratulations PM Abiy Ahmed Ali 🇪🇹. Also like to congratulate Mayor Adanech Abiebie, other city officials/ professionals and the residents of Addis. 👏 👏 👏 INSIGHT & ANALYSIS The re-birth of Addis has huge longterm economic & societal benefits for Ethiopia. Those who knew the old streets and neighborhoods of Addis now have to rely on Google Map and GPS since everything has changed dramatically for the better: New roads and highways, modern residential and commercial buildings, utility cables buried underground (no more ugly eyesores), standardized building and street signages, well-lit clean green streets, absolutely beautiful functional parks (my favorite is Friendship), museums (the magnificently restored National Palace and the newly built Adwa Museum are world-class must visits), cafes and restaurants everywhere, EV charging stations, etc. The redeveloped palm-tree lined 3.5 mile drive from Bole Airport to Meskel Square, especially at night, has an incredible “Wow” factor unparalleled by any major African capital city. The newly installed giant LCD screens everywhere, including the flyover bypasses, make it feel like Times Square in New York, the Ginza district in Tokyo or Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The old fashioned ugly static billboards have been banned and removed. The Addis we wished when traveling or living aboard is visible now (albeit it’s a work in progress). And, as Ethiopia positions itself as a major African regional economic hub (it’s consistently ranked amongst the 5 top FDI destinations in Africa and already hosts the largest number of diplomatic missions in Africa and 3rd largest in the world), it’s absolutely essential for Addis to be transformed, as is happening now. Of course improving the quality of life of its 130+ million citizens (amongst the 10 most populous countries in the world) is the priority goal. Addis accounts for about 30% of the country’s GDP and is forecast by “The Economist” to achieve an average annual GDP growth of 10.6% in the next 10 years, the fastest growth of any African city. I grew up in Washington DC and recall the redevelopment of the city starting in the mid-1980s. Washington, at the time, was rundown and neglected especially the downtown area. Today, it’s one of the most beautiful livable cities in the world. Of course it took more than 30+ years to transform DC even with the deployment of enormous resources by the U.S and DC government and investments by American private companies. I see many similarities between DC and the redevelopment of Addis, but it’s being achieved in a much shorter period with much less resources. This shows that Ethiopians can think BIG and achieve BIG! The old fashioned ugly static billboards have been banned and removed. The Addis we wished when traveling or living aboard is visible now (albeit it’s a work in progress). And, as Ethiopia positions itself as a major African regional economic hub (it’s consistently ranked amongst the 5 top FDI destinations in Africa and already hosts the largest number of diplomatic missions in Africa and 3rd largest in the world), it’s absolutely essential for Addis to be transformed, as is happening now. Of course improving the quality of life of its 130+ million citizens (amongst the 10 most populous countries in the world) is the priority goal. Addis accounts for about 30% of the country’s GDP and is forecast by “The Economist” to achieve an average annual GDP growth of 10.6% in the next 10 years, the fastest growth of any African city. I grew up in Washington DC and recall the redevelopment of the city starting in the mid-1980s. Washington, at the time, was rundown and neglected especially the downtown area. Today, it’s one of the most beautiful livable cities in the world. Of course it took more than 30+ years to transform DC even with the deployment of enormous resources by the U.S and DC government and investments by American private companies. I see many similarities between DC and the redevelopment of Addis, but it’s being achieved in a much shorter period with much less resources. This shows that Ethiopians can think BIG and achieve BIG!
