Coco Gauff: I know there's been conversations online about maybe the enthusiasm of some of the fans. I think tennis needs more of this. It's great just to see a nation so proud of someone, especially a nation that's pretty underrepresented in this sport. It's pretty cool to see.

I’ve met some of them and follow some of them online. Luckily the ones I do follow online do follow the etiquette and know tennis pretty well. Any venue you come to, you have to follow the etiquette towards it. I definitely think, maybe on some of the brands too, maybe to have a sign plastered in the suite.. sometimes it’s their first tennis match and they don’t know. They’ve probably been to basketball games before. I definitely think no flash photography. Try not to talk too loud. Ashe is a very loud court so I’m used to it. Definitely not like mouthing TikTok’s and stuff in the middle of a point 😂. It’s not just for the players but for the viewing experience, for those around. I think it’s cool to have a new demographic and I think it helps grow the sport. One thing I'll say, it's hard hearing your school talked about in the way it's been talked about and in a way devalued. Clearly I don't see it that way... To turn a community and a region on it's ear has been a dream of mine and we've done that and we've done it at the highest level and we've gotten to this point a couple times now. What the value is, I don't know, but I know the timing of it's really great. We've been drug through the mud... All I know is Beaver Nation is awesome and Oregon State is an incredible university... "F1 has become very popular. what do you think about this change?" lando: "formula one in 2019 was just a very closed sport. you really didn't see much about the people, the drivers, the mechanics, the engineers. you really just saw the show on tv. you saw the racing, and really that was about it. now formula one is a lot more open. there's a lot more fans in the races and paddock. everything i do now, people see. it's on tv, netflix, different series, youtube, it's on every piece of social media, which allows it to grow in a much better way. and i think you see some more fans now that love the people, they love the drivers. they can understand more and relate more to the personalities of each driver in formula one. because it was a very male dominated sport. now most of my fans actually are female and that's an amazing thing that we're able to attract and bring in a younger generation, because they are the future of formula one, and also more variation. so it's a pleasure to be part of that journey"
