I recently bought imported Italian flour. My daughter baked cookies for her friend's family with it. The mom called me to find out what gluten-free flour it was; she assumed it was gluten-free because she didn’t have any gut distress. She was shocked to hear it wasn't gluten-free but was simply from another country. Either the gluten issue is all in her head, or something is seriously wrong with our wheat in America.

@CoClarified That is damning. We're going to have to start over to make sure we have something to eat that isn't poisonous. I was feeling guilty for just having ordered a grain mill so I can bake healthy bread. It was expensive. But now I'm glad. Now to find healthy grain!

It's not JUST the Glyphosate, its that Glyphosate-resistant genetically modified grains, often referred to as Roundup Ready crops, are engineered to withstand the herbicide glyphosatete. because the mature grains can absorb the chemical like a sponge, especially in the outer layers or bran of the grain

@CoClarified Also, if all the farms around you are using roundup ready seed, their pollen can contaminate your crops. You're not allowed to use the seeds produced by these crops, you have to buy it from them. They send out drones and nosy inspectors to see if you have GMO crops and fine you.

@CoClarified It's not just sprayed herbicides & pesticides; it's the soil plants are grown in that no longer contains biodiversity that would eat up those toxins & be taken up to nourish the plant. We need biodiversity in our bodies too that we don't get from plants anymore.

@CoClarified I had a Grandpa who served in the Vietnam war come home to be a farmer. He was injured from agent Orange and most likely got a double dose since he farmed and use glyphosate or Round Up. He had a lot of health issues Alzheimer's or Dementia hit him hard the last 5 yrs of his life
