The Tor-M2 is a short-range SAM system used by the enemy as part of layered air defense to cover troops and facilities from Ukrainian aircraft, missiles, and UAV strikes, as well as to protect medium- and long-range air defense systems such as the S-300 and S-400. Its interception radius for aerial targets is up to 15 km. The cost of a new launcher is about $25 million.
