For the last two weeks I've been working on a Computer Use skill to work with Linux. And while I had some success, it was a pretty frustrating experience. That is...until the breakthrough. codex computer use uses secret macos api it makes codex to work while you work with your computer, no need to use virtualized machine but that secret macos api is no longer a secret cuz i found it and re implemented it as an mcp lmao

He said Codex Computer Use on macOS isn't special. Omarchy can do the same thing. Challenge accepted. So I had Codex draw him a painting using only its mouse, no other tools. Holler at me when you can do this.

I love when Codex outsmarts me! Asked Codex to hack this badge that I got from Temporal's conference by putting Codex pets on it. I also gave it a photo of the badge along with it. Codex found the actual firmware of the badge on GitHub to have a starter 😂

Ok this is a truly insane NEW way to design for me, WITHIN Codex If you are doing dev on a web technology, watch below In that video: - I am playing my game within Codex (yes) - I use a codex-made tool to design buildings (see some tweets below it's really powerful) - I can ask Codex to iterate and the game changes WITHOUT refreshing - I can point at UI elements - I can take a screenshot All WITHIN Codex It makes iterating on design incredible

I asked jason (DevEx at OpenAI): “What’s the craziest thing Codex did for you?” Here’s his answer: “I was on a bike ride when a coworker asked me to fix a launch video. So I connected remotely from my phone and asked Codex to use computer use to edit the video, export it, and post it back to Slack. Twenty minutes later, there was a new video in the Slack thread. Then I told Codex: ‘Every 30 minutes, check the thread for feedback and export V2, V3, V4.’ By the time I got home, the launch video was greenlit.” Codex had handled the revisions by repeatedly checking Slack for feedback. 📌 Watch the full episode here:

I unlocked the drawing feature in Heartopia, love the game (even with PC controls needing changes). Now i can place a canvas around and paint pixel art, sew it on clothes, put it on furnitures for other players to see. A video of me drawing a landscape on it

I was wrong about GPT-5.5 Kinda I still stand by everything I've said about low reasoning, it's incredible and I still use it all the time esp with Pi But I'm also doing a ton with xHigh reasoning, and especially computer use in the codex desktop app

One of my favorite games that I played about 40 years ago was called Boulder Dash. I first played it on a Commodore 64, then later played a version on an Amiga computer. Now I’ve just created a better Mac version using GPT-5.5 Codex! This is so incredibly cool time be alive!

One of our biggest engineering problems is that Conductor is Mac only, which means most of our testing is manual and local. So I asked Fable to: - port Conductor to Linux - open the build inside a Conductor Cloud sandbox - use Codex computer use to QA - send me a screen recording of the whole thing And it worked! The dream is that a user can report a bug, and it gets triaged, fixed, and QA'd in the background. We're getting very close!
