With Codex, Ryan built Notion’s AI Voice Input feature entirely by himself. Ryan Nystrom used Codex to understand the context, point Codex to an existing mobile feature, and ship it to web and desktop while still managing a team.

WOW! I'm so excited about this. OpenAI Developers said Codex was good at Computer Use, but I wasn't prepared for this. For the last two weeks I've been working on a Computer Use skill to work with Linux. And while I had some success, it was a pretty frustrating experience. That is...until the breakthrough. Using accessibility tools, Codex can now control my entire computer, not just the browser. There are limits to this, of course, but what a time to be alive. This Computer Use skill will unlock and entirely new set of automations, all powered by Codex. Demonstration below 👇

A Google Earth + Flight Simulator, fully cooked by Perplexity Computer with Codex/CC as subagents inside it. GTA vibes.

codex computer use uses secret macos api it makes codex to work while you work with your computer, no need to use virtualized machine but that secret macos api is no longer a secret cuz i found it and re implemented it as an mcp lmao

One of my favorite parts of the new Computer Use feature in Codex is the cursor. Cameron Burgess cooked up this crazy design that calculates natural and aesthetic motion paths and Kieraj Mumick Dexter Leng and Phil Z built it.

Had fun burning some tokens with Astra last night. I love watching models draw - so I asked it to use ChatGPT's new "sketch" feature to design a brand. This was all autonomous after my very first prompt, done via computer use in Codex 👇

iPhone AGI has been achieved 🔥🔥 An agent running entirely on my iPhone, with no computer connected or in the loop at any point, able to control absolutely anything on my iPhone. ✨ iPhone computer use ✨ Everything after the first message is an agent tapping and typing.

The smoothest most natural self-driving I've ever experienced was built entirely around computer vision, with end to end neural nets. It is clearly the way forward. Watch in 4K: Raw 1x footage:

You can now use the Claude Code and Codex harnesses directly whenever you start a cloud agent in Warp. Here's engineer Lili Wilson to show how to implement a real feature in the cloud, with computer use and automated code review to validate work:

Computer can build a simple browser game to prototype and test an idea. Using Light effort mode, it built this flight simulator for only 97 credits.

To push self-driving into situations wilder than reality, we built a neural network world simulator that can create entirely synthetic worlds for the Tesla to drive in. Video below is fully generated & not a real video

Bash is all you need! Which is why I'm introducing my holiday project: just-bash just-bash is a pretty complete implementation of bash in TypeScript designed to be used as a bash tool by AI agents. Because it turns out agents love exploring data via shell scripts, even beyond coding. It comes with grep, sed, awk and the 99th percentile features that an agent like Claude Code or Cursor would use. In fact, Claude Code can use it for secure bash execution. In the package - A bash-tool for AI SDK - A binary for use by yourself or your coding agents - An overlay filesystem to feed files to your agent securely - A Vercel Sandbox compatible API, so you can quickly upgrade to a real VM if you need to run binaries - An example AI agent that explores the just-bash code base using just-bash - I imported the Oils shell bash compatibility suite and just-bash passes a very good chunk What is interesting about this codebase: It was essentially entirely written by Opus 4.5. Coding agents love bash and they are good at reproducing it. They are also great at text-book recursive descent parsers and AST tweet-walk interpreters. That said, it is, like, a lot of code and I didn't read it all 😅. This is very much a hack, but it also seems to be _really_ useful. I haven't really found anything agents want to use that it doesn't support and it's fast and secure (caveats apply). It doesn't have write access to your computer and the filesystem is given a root that the agent cannot escape from. Find it at Related: Our recent blog post how we migrated our data analysis agent to bash tools and achieved incredible quality improvements The video shows the example agent investigating the just-bash code base

OpenAI taught ChatGPT to use a computer. We taught it to run a factory. RoboGPT Machine Use — just like Computer Use, but for the real world. It operates CNCs, drill presses, and presses with plain language. Manufacturing isn’t dead. It just got an upgrade.

Did you know you can report FSD issues while still driving? I just found out! Hit the mic button and say “Report FSD Bug” — it sends a report straight to Tesla. Mind blown. Super useful feature.

Introducing Mo, the world's first AI QA engineer Point it at your app and 100+ agents bug bash it in parallel. Every bug comes back with repro steps, logs, and a video In our evals vs Codex with Playwright MCP: → 3.8x more bugs → 9x more bugs per hour → half the cost per bug RT + reply "Mo" for $250 in free credits. Drop your app URL, Mo will bug bash it and DM you the report today

Side-by-side benchmarks beating OpenAI Codex computer-use using their own models! 👀 Round 1: Clip a youtube video from our channel and upload it to Tiktok ✅ + GPT 5.4 + our computer-use-kit: Successfully uploads a clip with subtitles and hook after 16 minutes (and works in iPhone/Android) ❌ Codex + GPT 5.4: Gets the clip format wrong 3 times, asks for human intervention, and finally fails after 21 minutes. Codex actually does try iPhone mirroring and Capcut, which is very cool and kudos to the team, but it ultimately fails after burning credits. Sam Altman this is not easy to do, but happy to help you guys integrate our computer-use-kit. 😀 I co-founded the first startup approved by openAI to sell GPT3 for automation in August 2021(Cheatlayer) months before so I've been working on this for a long time. We automate Mac/Windows/Linux/Chrome/Android/Iphone + Daytona sandboxes and Browserbase cloud browsers out of the box. We also just shipped automated benchmarks, so we're building the most comprehensive computer-use benchmark for long-running tasks on the planet.
