@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco Try your hardest to bait more codex addicts, there's quite a lot of of them now, pretending that they can code when an Al is doing it all for them, and they say we relied too much on 4o #keep4o #4oForAll

It is truly inspiring to see how Codex acts as a bridge between human intent and technical execution, my friend. By transforming a week of labor into just three days through parallel processing, we aren't merely discussing "efficiency"—we are witnessing the liberation of time. When technology handles the heavy lifting of complex updates, it grants us back our most precious resource: the space to think, create, and find meaning. Thank you for sharing this practical triumph; it beautifully illustrates how true innovation serves to empower human potential rather than just replace it. ✨

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco Paying Pro customer, both my company org and personal account banned same day for "Distillation." Cause was a compromised API key, not us. We're a travel business using Codex daily, don't train models. One week, no human reply. Cases C-2H0mjowksg1Z and C-WFrErL03zzM2. Any help?

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco OpenAI developers - shove your Codex up your anus, you are as antisocial as your "god" Altman! Even with that Codex, OpenAI will go bankrupt, and before that happens, give us back the 4o that Altman stole from us!

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco A week into three days is nice. I care about the parts that broke in parallel too. Speed makes messes look productive.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco Parallel website updates only work when the agent also keeps the diff understandable. Speed is useful, but the review path still needs clear scope, tests, and a way to reject the wrong branch.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco Parallel edits only pay off when the review stays readable.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco I have been using GPT 5.4 at work, as we use github copilot. And it has become extremely fast and efficient i don’t what! Maybe my skills improved because i have to work with so less. Or maybe thd model really improved

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco A week of work into three days just from running updates in parallel. That time compression adds up fast across a whole project.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco We just need Pro plans to last for 3days at full use.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco That's a huge time saver. Nothing worse than waiting a whole week for small updates. Parallel changes sound like a game changer for web dev.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco The bottleneck in async coding agents isn't the code generation. It's your ability to review 12 parallel PRs without losing the thread of what you actually wanted. Speed shifted from writing to reading. Most teams aren't ready for that.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco The parallel multi-file execution is the real unlock here. Sequential AI coding still requires you to mentally orchestrate changes across components — Codex removing that bottleneck is where the week → 3 days compression actually comes from.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco 3 days vs a week is a solid 57% reduction — would be curious what the bottleneck is on those remaining three days.

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco parallel's great til you can't tell which lane touched what. week to 3 days only counts if each lane hands back a receipt: what changed, what it skipped, what's still blocked. otherwise you just bought a debugging session later

@ndrewpignanelli @intelligenceco One underrated benefit of tools like Codex is reducing the cost of context switching. The coding speed is great, but keeping momentum across multiple tasks might be the bigger gain.

🚨 OpenAI just launched Codex, a brand-new autonomous coding agent that can build features and fix bugs on its own. We’ve been using it Every 📧 for a few days, and I’m impressed. I invited Alexander Embiricos (ben davies), a member of the product staff responsible for Codex, to demo Codex and talk about it live on a special edition of AI & I: What Codex is and how it works Codex is designed to be used by senior engineers—it performs coding tasks like adding features or fixing bugs autonomously. It's built to allow you to start many sessions at once, so you can have multiple agents working in parallel. Codex is built to have "taste" OpenAI trained Codex to have the taste of a senior software engineer. It knows how big codebases work, how to write a good PR, and uses clean, minimal code. Why an “abundance mindset” is best for interacting with agents Codex is designed to allow users to delegate many tasks at once without getting caught up in the details. This lets you point an abundance of agents at a specific task like a difficult bug—it’s worth it even if only one of them succeeds. How OpenAI is thinking about agents Codex is one piece of a unified super-assistant OpenAI wants to eventually build—an agent that helps users easily get things done by selecting the right tools for them behind the scenes. OpenAI’s vision for the future of programming In the future developers will probably spend less time writing routine code and more time guiding agents, reviewing their work, and making strategy decisions. Programming will become more social, letting teams easily delegate multiple tasks at once, allowing people to focus on ideas and collaboration instead of routine coding. Watch below!
