you are making video games all wrong for decades almost all game art time went into reverse-engineering the end result you start with concept art of what you WANT it to look like. then for YEARS you walk the computer backwards into something it can process: a rendering engine, 3d assets that fit that engine, and a gamer’s local hardware that has to turn all of that back into a high fidelity image incredibly slow. incredibly expensive. but it was the best we had ai makes that pipeline faster as everyone is figuring out today. but they’re missing the real unlock: YOU DON’T NEED THAT PIPELINE AT ALL if you have a reference for the end look, you don’t model it in 3d. you don’t reverse-engineer into an engine you keep a very basic greybox model of the world as the source of truth, and track every entity in real time. it doesn’t need to look good at all… the player never sees it! a fast video model turns that into the “game” in real time. it doesn’t have to look like a game. it can look like a 2d cartoon or cinematic live action fal’s h3 max is very fast. astra 6 low-effort too. neither is fully realtime yet but together they can generate continuous, coherent, player-controlled scenes, faster than playback early demo:

Ever wanted to get some rest when you have a toddler? 😂😂😂 How'd that work out for you? 😂 Toddlers have a gift for finding things they shouldn't touch, whatever that is... Cabinets. Drawers. Dog food. Toilet paper. Anything left within reach becomes an adventure. You finally get them settled. You sit down. Maybe you get a few minutes of peace. Then you hear something. Or worse, you hear nothing. When you have a toddler, silence can be the most suspicious sound of all. You walk into the other room and find a tiny tornado pulling everything apart like he's conducting an important investigation. And somehow you're exhausted before the day is even halfway over. That's the toddler years. Your patience gets tested. Your sleep gets interrupted. Your house gets messy. Your plans get pushed around. But there's something worth remembering in the middle of all that chaos. This is your kid. This is the season when they are learning everything. Their curiosity is running wild. Their personality is coming alive. Every day they discover something new, and you get a front row seat. So yes, Dad is tired. Dad would also like to finish one cup of coffee while it's still hot. The invisible cost to every Robinhood $HOOD trade you make - their trades are not free! - "Robinhood trades are not free" - "When you pay for order flow, you're probably charging your customers more, and pretending to be free" - "It's a very dishonourable, low grade way to talk" - "Nobody should believe Robinhood's trades are free" Translation: Robinhood doesn’t charge commissions, but it makes money by selling your trades to market makers i.e. “payment for order flow”. Instead, when you click Buy, Robinhood sells your order to a big trading firm (Citadel etc). That firm executes it and pays Robinhood for sending the order. Example: - If the best price in the market is $10.00, but you get filled at $10.02, that 2 cents difference looks tiny… but over thousands of trades and millions of users, that’s real money. - You didn’t pay a commission, but you still paid in the form of a slightly higher price! You feel like it’s free, but you get slightly worse prices on every trade! That cost is invisible - but you're still paying it! In addition: Those firms (Citadel etc.) also get visibility into retail order flow. They see what millions of small traders are doing and can position themselves more effectively to profit from you!!! Common Sense Investing TIP: - If a business says something is free, but earns money from your activity, it’s not free! - never forget.
