Markwayne Mullin for his solution, including whether he supports first-time homebuyer credits. He said he’s fine with the credits, but the real fix is deregulation. For every new regulation, cut twenty. These rules are what drive housing costs through the roof. "For every one new regulation, cut twenty. This is what will bring down costs of construction. Actual permit reform. Get the federal government out of it, put the money in the states. Any federal job is almost 100% more than what it would be for a private individual to built it."

Most people will only realize what happened after it is done.

It’s time to clean out the bureaucracy. Australia is being over governed to death. Rather than create more government departments which the major parties always do it’s time to abolish them. This means abolishing Federal Government departments that deal with State responsibilities. It also means abolishing woke departments like the Multicultural and Climate change Departments. The new Centre for Disease Control Department should not be created either. The best way to deal with pandemics is to allow people to use antibiotics. The world worked that out 100 years ago. Less Bureaucracy means less taxes, less regulation and greater accountability. Only has a plan on what needs to be done to get Australia moving again. #auspol

Elon Musk: Europe actually has more bureaucracy than the US does because you don't just have the provincial and national level, you also have the EU on top of that And to be totally frank, EU headquarters in Brussels is essentially a giant cathedral to bureaucracy. So if one wishes to visit the Grand Cathedral of Bureaucracy, visit EU headquarters in Brussels I do think that Europe probably needs government efficiency more than the US does. And this needs to happen at the country level and at the EU level. And actually, I think the job is more difficult in Europe than it is in the US I think over-regulation has inhibited a tremendous amount of progress and innovation in Europe. Slow strangulation by over-regulation It's a slow strangulation because it's not like at any one moment you feel like this is it. Most people still think crypto is about tokens going up and down. It isn't. Or at least, that's the smallest part of what's happening. Money is about to start moving at silicon speed. Billions of agents transacting with each other, negotiating, settling and running full businesses at a velocity no human system can match. Bonkers when you think about it. And politics won’t be able to keep up… regulation is like trying to catch a bullet with a butterfly net. Once the machines have their own rails, money, and economy running in the background, they won’t be waiting for us. We'll be the dumb, slow ones, watching it happen from outside. Onchain rails are the only thing built for that tempo. Which is why owning a piece of it is owning the operating system the next economy runs on.

President Trump Confirms He Hopes To Sign The Clarity Act (crypto regulation) very soon. Will Clarity Get Passed In 2026? Coinbase's CEO Brian Armstrong came out recently against the bill trying to stop it. He wants Coinbase to be able to do what banks do, but without all of the banking regulations. I am sort of torn on this issue. Banks are regulated for a reason, having bank failures is usually a disaster for the economy. While more competition is good, financial companies holding deposits and taking too much risk is not acceptable.
