Operation Vivaldi completely stripped Putin of any military wins in Donbas.

The most important part of Vivaldi may not be the 125 km². It is how the ground was taken. Ukraine is combining UAVs, electronic warfare, artillery and ground robots to isolate Russian positions, disrupt logistics and then move infantry forward. That matters because Russia can replace lost positions more easily than it can replace a disrupted logistics network. If this model continues, Vivaldi is not just a local counterattack. It is a test of how much Russian offensive power can be dismantled before the next assault even begins.

Andrii Biletskyi, Commander of the Third Army Corps, officially confirms that Ukrainian Defense Forces cleared Russian infiltration forces from Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka, Yarova, and the outskirts of Korovyi Yar, and liberated Serednie. Glory! ❗️"We confirm reports of a Ukrainian army offensive in the north of the Donetsk region. Operating under a media blackout, units eliminated pockets of enemy infiltration and cleared an area of 75 km². An additional 10 km² has been de-occupied. A devastating blow was dealt to the combat capabilities of the Russian 20th and 25th Armies. Enemy losses at this stage include approximately 1,500 soldiers, over 12,000 drones, and hundreds of units of armored vehicles, artillery systems, and motor vehicles. Simultaneously, unmanned systems units cut off enemy supply lines. As a result of the Corps' strikes, Russian forces relocated their fuel and lubricant supply operations outside Ukraine to the Voronezh region; the pipeline was dismantled, and depots were moved. This was made possible thanks to the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 125th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, the Battalion Tactical Group of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, the 3rd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion, and the 25th Separate Anti-Tank Battalion of the Corps, as well as attached units—the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 85th Tactical Group of the 8th Special Operations Forces Regiment, the "Artan" special unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR), and the 10th "DOZOR" Mobile Border Guard Detachment." "There is currently a lot of information in open sources suggesting that the ultimate goal of our offensive actions is to reach the banks of the Chornyi Zherebets River. But our operation is called 'Vivaldi.' And Vivaldi, as is well known, has four seasons. And this is just the first of them. So, keep an eye on our official announcements and don't rush to post spoilers. Good news is coming," — Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi.

Operation Vivaldi, a successful counteroffensive by Ukraine's Defense Forces led by the Third Army Corps (commanded by Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi) in the Lyman area of northern Donetsk region, completely crushed the "northern pincer" of the Russian grouping and disrupted the enemy’s plan to encircle the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration - the "belt of fortress cities." Ukrainian Warriors cleared 75 km² of territory and de-occupied another 10 km². The village of Serednie was fully liberated. Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka, Yarova, and the outskirts of Korovii Yar were cleared of Russian infiltration. Around 1,500 Russian troops were eliminated. More than 12,000 drones and hundreds of armored vehicles, artillery systems, and other vehicles were destroyed. The Ukrainian offensive dealt a crushing blow to the combat capabilities of Russia’s 20th and 25th Armies. Successful strikes on logistics, rear bases, fuel and ammunition depots, transport, communications hubs, and command posts forced Russians to relocate their fuel supplies outside Ukraine - to Russia’s Voronezh region: a tactical military fuel pipeline was shut down and the storage facilities were moved. Moreover, acute fuel and power shortages severely disrupted the operation of Russian electronic warfare systems. The offensive was carried out in complete operational secrecy, catching the enemy by surprise, as the Russian command had long been receiving distorted and overly optimistic reports about the actual situation on the ground. Operation Vivaldi continues.
