In Hami, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, rows of linear Fresnel reflectors track the sun, concentrating sunlight into thermal energy and storing it using molten salt. When night falls, this stored heat can be released to continue generating electricity, functioning just like a giant power bank for sunlight. Apparently, Canada is in China promoting a goal of net zero 🤦🏼 Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Tim Hodgson: "Let me be clear, we are here (in China) because we share a goal to getting to net zero..." China has over 1,100 and generating over half of the world's electricity. They will do anything to generate more electricity this is the race and not net zero.

Lansing stole their voice, handing it to the same three appointed bureaucrats behind some of the highest electricity rates in the country—so tonight is likely just a show. What Lansing is doing to rural Michigan is shameful.
