Completely forgot My Adventures With Superman did a Doctor Who reference with the alternate Brain being Dalek inspired. Other than that, the Chibi style montage of Mallah and Brain traveling the multiverse and having brunch with Jimmy looked adorable.

They are weirdly sweet for a villain couple in the comics

Them playing into the multiverse is a fun way to justify why MAWS’ Brain and Mala are good guys as opposed to their traditionally evil roles. Like for those that miss those OG versions, there out there somewhere, they exist.

I never knew these two existed before this show and that they were originally villains. I like seeing all the different takes on characters this show has done.
