The amount of steel that goes into the foundations of a nuclear power plant is next level. 🔊 It is expensive to build, but consider what you get in return. A source of energy that produces hundreds (or thousands) of megawatts of electricity up to 70-80 years or so. It does not directly pollute or contaminate the air. The 70-80 year remark is based on OL1 & OL2 nuclear reactors in Finland. Commercial production started in 1978 and the current permit allows the plants to operate until year 2050. The next big AI trade may not be a tech stock. AI, data centers, and a growing economy all need more power, and America’s grid is already stretched. That is why I’m looking at nuclear energy and uranium. The U.S. consumes roughly 50 million pounds of uranium a year and produces only about one million. If nuclear becomes a bigger part of the energy solution, demand for uranium could become enormous.

The government has run out of excuses for keeping nuclear power illegal. During this interview with Anthony Albanese the hosts press him on why nuclear power is banned… Albo: “no one is saying that - hey, we want to invest in this [nuclear]. No one.” Host: “There's a rule that says you can't.” Albo: “No, that's because it doesn’t stack up.” Host: “Why do you need a rule if the business case doesn’t stack up, to ban it?” Albo: “Because it doesn’t stack up” Host: “Well, get rid of the moratorium, then” The lack of clear answers goes to show that the government’s only justification for defending the bans on nuclear power is politics. It is wrong to conflate the economics of nuclear with a principled position to just consider nuclear power. At this time, we need all options on the table, including nuclear power. The US has had very high tariffs on Indian steel for more than a decade now. We make steel to consume domestically and also to export to other countries. I am sure something will work out... Regarding the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), it is going to happen, so we are all prepared for it. We feel that nuclear energy is the future because nuclear energy is clean energy; it is safe, creates no pollution, and generates no carbon dioxide emissions. So, when we talk about climate change and protecting the environment, nuclear energy is the best solution. That is why the Government of India, through the SHANTI Act, is encouraging the private sector to participate in nuclear power generation. I am sure a lot of large corporates will come forward. If the Nazi Symbol is banned then why isn’t the Communist Symbol banned? Why is a Party simply advocating for White people banned but the Communist Party is not? We all know why! Why do we allow these double standards? Also it wasn’t 6 million. No one believes that. All of the historical evidence has debunked this highly inflated number. It makes it pretty obvious who currently has control of the West, you just have to look at the policies in place.
