There is a study that was done not too long ago in SA, I just can’t remember what it was called. Gist: this generation is NOT bothered by HIV, they have lived through parents who have survived it. As such, reckless sexual behaviour is common because there is a pill, they said.

I used to work on this campaign for Soul City Institute including Soul Buddyz and Soul City TV Show… these programs were effective; pity funding was an issue.

Totally agree with her sentiments. I can imagine it’s hard though for a 15-21 y/o to have strong will to abstain or strap-up when literally everything around them promotes 🥩 sex. Social media, music, podcasts, influencers, older sibblings, cousins, uncles and aunts etc.

We don't need more condoms, we need parents to be rooted in the Word of God so that they can teach their kids that sex is sacred and should be reserved for marriage.
