Don’t worry about the Ayatollah anymore. So now the people just need to replace the rest of the regime. Still a tall order, but a little shorter.

Nick, very real question here: why do you think Iran was an "enemy of the United States" ?

Reports are saying the Supreme leader of Iran has been killed. Now let's see where this goes

Correct, you are seeing strategic strikes with Israel doing the heavy lifting. It is up to the Iranian people to take this oportunity and run with it. From a Biblical world view, we do not know the time or date but the seasons. #Ezekiel38

we Iranians are fortunte we also have Israel on our side, if at anytime USA got tired of Bombing wanted to head back home its good Israel will continue to help it is done Khamenei is dead and we are almost close to the end, few more days of bombing maybe if USA feel generous maybe 2-3 weeks that should be plenty

Nobody want wars. But it sounds like the regime is a ticking time bomb. Doubt boots on the ground would be needed TBH. IL here living in VA btw.

Iranian-American here, We can't be happier, all it takes is superior power to take out military and IRGC and police forces, so people can take over. We wanted constitutional monarchy.

Dude, it wouldn't be necessary for us to attack now if past administration's had done their job to protect Americans.

TBH I feel the same. Am a little gun shy from what I'd seen in past wars. Last time Trump bombed Iran I was stressed. He showed restraint. After that I trust him more. God protect our troops. 🇺🇸 Praying all ends well 🙏

Exactly if we ever had the moral high ground in the Middle Eastern military conflict I think it’s in Iran. The people are asking for our help and getting slaughtered. I do worry if part of the military does not defect it could get messy though.

well said it seems to this marginally informed observer that something before Soleimani was "strike 1", successful uranium enrichment before Midnight Hammer was "strike 2", and the failure to heed warnings after MH, from Maduro optics to their murderous treatment of their own people all the way into recent negotiations was #3. What absurd Dems call "reckless and illegal!" looks more like "necessary and judicious" to me

According to reports both in the United States and Israel, the Supreme leader has been killed along with about 40 of his men. In my lifetime, I watched the Shah kicked out of Iran, the rise of the Ayatollah and now their ultimate demise. Wow.

I agree this administration gives me more hope than I've had for years. I still say we can't go in without a clear exit strategy.

The key word is 'protect'. This war isn't protection. (According to Richard Baris, the Trump admin is considering 10K American casualties, as shown by question on what the reaction would be.)

So if the outcome is potentially positive, we should skip Constitutional control? I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one, Nick. Usually I'm with you 100%. If this was a good idea, a declaration of war would've been easy. It's not as if this was a surprise attack.

So, you're only principled when it comes to playing the left/right paradigm farce. When it's "your team", you just SIMP. Very disappointing

I think Trump still is a crook and such. However, I do fully agree he's making some very good decisions here. I'm starting to get concerned I might even start be more supportive of him. I'm going to startwatching his actions more, rather than his words.

When I was in my 1st yr of college in 1979, my neighbor, Colonel Charles Scott, was taken hostage with 51 others for 444 days. I've waited for this glorious day of redemption thanks to our Commander in Chief and military intelligence. 🔥⚔️🇺🇸🙏🦅🪖⚓️
