the dogebox environment provides a means to route traffic between PUPs (isolated processes) via: - http/rest reverse proxy router - unix domain sockets, linked into sandboxes - tcp routes via virtual interface into sandboxes So you can build new things that use any protocol you like. the Dogebox itself provides JSON/REST apis and some select binary protocols for things that need to be fast.
