This isn’t a casual observation—this is a forensic record of what’s actually happening online. Here’s what we found: Account... Profiles Almost all replies come from accounts with 1–200 followers, some newly created but often inactive for 4–5 years or longer. The accounts are aged but post almost nothing original. Many have generic names or profile pictures. Suspicious Follower Networks They all follow the same types of accounts: fake Elo;n accounts, crypto bots, “massage” DMs, lottery winners giving away millions. These are classic signals of bot farms or troll networks “warming up” accounts to bypass platform filters. Reply Patterns The replies are always illiterate, ranty, off-the-mark, and irrelevant. They never engage with facts. Instead, they flood threads to create the illusion of support. This has happened consistently over the last month, with nearly 500 separate accounts exhibiting this behaviour. Tactics in play These seemingly One Nation supporters' replies use a few clear strategies. Sentiment manipulation makes their posts appear more popular than they really are. Engagement suppression buries intelligent critiques under a swarm of low-quality replies. And intimidation is used to create the feeling that you’re shouting into a void, discouraging further fact-checks. Why This Happens This is textbook #astroturfing: a fake support prop for a movement. It may involve AI-generated responses, low-cost foreign labor, or troll farms. It’s common globally for fringe political groups, though it violates X’s terms of service. The takeaway This is not an anomaly. It’s a clear, deliberate strategy to amplify One Nation’s perceived support online. These accounts are not normal followers—they’re part of a coordinated effort. I got tired of engagement-farming AI reply bots, and a few hours later I had a firefox extension that correctly tags (and hides/collapses if enabled) about 90% of them. Turns out you can detect most of these accounts just by analyzing their posting patterns. Take their last 200 tweets and find the maximum number of reply tweets within any 5-minute window. If it's 4 or higher, it's an automated reply account. I manually tagged 100 suspicious accounts and 50 terminally online accounts. This single if matched 86/100 of sus accounts and none of the terminally online ones. I've been running this for a few days now and I'm still surprised by the accuracy. I'm pretty sure you can detect almost all of this AI slop without even looking at the content of tweets. I manually checked "false positives" I got and all of them were either: (a) accounts spamming gifs/single words/emoji replies, which is more or less the same behavior just without AI (b) accounts that used AI replies in the past. tl;dr: fixing majority of the current slop apocalypse requires a 0.1x engineer and a minimal effort

Why "Trump Accounts" for Kids Are Actually Not Good This will be a controversial and much disliked take I presume. I'm a huge advocate for investing, financial literacy and especially for using savings accounts to create generation wealth. I'm especially fond of this practice being taught to the next generation. When I saw these Trump Accounts, my first thought was how great this is. But at closer glance, this is just yet another handout for some, financed by all, while we're completely broke. It barely educates anyone, the accounts are not self-managed, they have fees, the managers, banks and investments are ultimately hand picked by bureaucrats or their chosen surrogates and it gives massive leverage to not only the bureaucracy itself but the money managers chosen to administer and run these accounts. There are plenty of self-directed accounts that already exist, other tax benefits that couls be utilized or education that could be provided. But instead, it's just another handout. The exact same reason we advocated against Student Loan Forgiveness is just being repackaged in a different way and serving a very similar purpose. So many people will fall for for this because it comes from your own side or your own team and it seems great in theory. As usual, there are many ways this could have been done that would have really helped people. Handing out free money isn't the way and never will be.

Hi Linda Yaccarino I have contacted X everyday for the last 2 weeks with an inquiry into why users on X and many Premium users are having their accounts marked as spam. Nobody from X will reply. People are paying for a service at the company you are in charge of and they are being labeled as “spam” and comments under their posts are labeled as spam. For the sake of transparency and your company commitment to free speech, can you please publicly provide an explanation as to why so many of your PAYING USERS on X are having their accounts flagged as spam and why accounts are now being hidden from the timeline? I am posting the publicly as I have been advised to do, for full transparency so that everyone can see that these inquiries are being made. I am being respectful, and as someone who is happy to pay $30 a month, I am hoping to get some answers for myself and the many other X users who are having this issue but not getting any answers from X. I listened to over 100 hours of a Hitler Apologists podcast. (The Stone Choir Podcast) Here what I’ve learned so far… First of all, why did I do it? I did it because I wanted to understand why people that I knew were beginning to hate Jews and blacks. I wanted to understand the road to biological racial essentialism. I wanted to understand how a Christian man could genuinely believe that the best course of action for our country is to kick all the blacks out and send them back to Africa. After listening to these guys for over 100 hours I understand the roadmap to white supremacy. It’s wild but I get it. One of the reasons these guys are so dangerous is because they are deadly accurate at pinpointing many of the problems with our modern liberal society. This is how they win your attention. The utilize a lot of scripture, and they set themselves up as martyr heroes who are willing to sacrifice all for their cause. They’ll say the unpopular thing because they are the defenders of TRUTH! I also believe they are very sincere in their beliefs. The longer you listen the more you realize that literally everything that they’re saying is colored by their distain for Jews, and their belief that whites are the superior race. And I mean everything. It literally always comes back to this. The problem is by the time that this should become obvious, they have already won your trust by saying a whole bunch of other true and helpful things. Another major problem is that very few people are attempting to engage with the actual arguments that these guys are making in their podcast (ironic I know, since I am not attempting to address their arguments in this post). There are a lot of reasons for this, the time sink alone is a significant deterrent. And the kind of men who would be well equipped to address many of the arguments probably don’t see them as enough of an issue to take the time to actually do it. Regardless, it’s worth that needs to be done. I would say that I probably agree with 80 to 85% of what they’re saying, it’s that last 15% that is laced with cyanide that poisons the whole project. Ironically, Corey is so fond of saying again and again throughout the podcast that you can judge a tree by its fruits. If this is so, then we can be sure that the Stone Choir is a rotten tree. All you need to do is look through the posts and replies on their X accounts to see their constant stream of hateful, vile, rhetoric and ANY discerning Christian should be able to immediately dismiss these men out of hand. Honestly, my hope with this post is to demonstrate that I’m actually doing my homework. And that I understand a lot of you guys who are going down the Stone Choir route. I would also invite you brothers to read through Corey and Woes X posts and replies and ask yourself if these are the kinds of men that honor God with their speech. Are these the kinds of men that Christ would be pleased for you to learn from? There is a very clear answer to this question. Many of you know this. Many of you will even say the podcast is good, but I’m not so sure about their rhetoric on X. But please understand, their rhetoric on X is the fruit of their tree. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (and types in his keyboard). You know that it’s objectionable. But you don’t want to take Corey’s own advice and recognize that that means the tree is rotten. Listen. The PWC is real. It’s a real problem worth addressing. Uprooting the hidden liberalism within modern evangelicalism is one of the most important projects currently underway. These guys are not the ones for the job. Their poison WILL get into and infect you In profound ways. I’ve watched it happen with many young men. So please… If you started hating Jews, and blacks and believing that white to the superior race…. Repent. Come back to Christ. And stop eating rotten fruit from a rotten tree. Elon Musk really seems to be doubling down on removing the X blocking feature from this platform. In a reply to James Woods, who criticized Musk for saying he’s removing the feature, Musk simply told him to “delete your account.” Musk also is apparently blocking people himself. He’s blocking people who are complaining about the block feature being removed. Personally I have 5,000+ accounts blocked, mostly from over 5 years ago. I wish I could unblock all of them with one click. With that said though, there are a few accounts which I do wish I could prohibit from replying to my posts. These are people who post photos of my home, my address, my kids names, etc. There are also people who have stalked me, showing up at my home, at my family’s place of work, etc. I don’t want these people to be able reply to my posts with photos of my home, etc. What are your thoughts about the removal of the option to block accounts on Twitter? Do you believe this is a good move or a mistake, and why?
