Adding Insult to Injury The RCMP, working under orders from CFIA, seized Universal Ostrich Farms but they also seized the adjoining garlic farm for logistics and control purposes. They have been terrorizing Garlic Girl and her family while they destroy their property, driving vehicles all over their fields. The damage is so bad that they are now using heavy equipment to fix the roads they have made in the hayfield. I'm going to be putting together a longer video showing what this property looked like prior to this ordeal compared to what it looks like now. I'm also putting together a video about how the RCMP presence on this property has affected the family that has to live there. Stay tuned.

"Here is just a small sample of the earlier days of the RCMP and CFIA seizing our SEPARATELY OWNED property next door to Universal Ostrich Farms, which they then occupied for more than 50 days, while relentlessly circling us, harassing us with drones, forcing us to ask permission every single time we needed to go in or out of our own gate, and more. They were informed at every turn that this property was separately owned, and did not belong to the owners of Universal Ostrich Farm. They used a warrant that was nearly identical to the others, it named Karen and Dave, not the lawful property owners. We had to watch them completely take over the property on livestream, without ANY warning or paperwork of any sort from the CFIA or the RCMP. Even after we reached out to them, we still had ZERO contact from them until we were physically in front of them trying to get in to our own property. This concept is simple in my opinion. If you seize a person's property, that warrant better have that person's name on it. In an operation like this, you don't get to just also seize the neighbours property for good measure, calling it the neighbours "secondary quarantine property" That's just not how it works. We have never been able to locate or access the information used to obtain that warrant. We have seen nothing showing that this was anything more than them simply not doing their homework first on who owned the property. And when we repeatedly asked, all we were ever told was "I'm not discussing this with you." CFIA overreach accelerates as neighbour's property seized, threatened with arrest The CFIA has expanded its seizure of land to a family independent of Universal Ostrich Farms, restricting the owners from their own home and garden. In the latest twist of the Universal Ostrich Farms vs. Canadian Food Inspection Agency standoff, Rebel News is exposing how the CFIA’s overreach has expanded beyond the farmers and their avian-flu immune ostriches, and onto the property of their neighbours. While on site, we spoke with Alyson Turnbull, niece of ostrich farm co-owner Karen Espersen and cousin to farm spokesperson, Katie Pasitney. Turnbull explained her immediate families' shock and horror to come home to much of her mother’s land being seized for the CFIA cull mission while they were away from the home. The property, which borders the farmers' property, was never deemed a “dangerous zone” until this past September, just before the CFIA was granted a “warrant to search” under the Health of Animals Act, section 34. Despite not being involved in the ostrich farm operation, the family has been treated like criminals; RCMP remain stationed at their property around the clock while the Supreme Court deliberates whether the CFIA’s cull order can proceed. When Alyson tried to get answers as to why they were being restricted and told they can’t even harvest their own garlic, an RCMP officer told her that the CFIA “has control of your property” and that they were being “gracious enough” to allow them to access to the house only. She was later warned via text by a liaison officer to remember, that according to CFIA, Alyson could not go into her mom’s “property without first emailing them” and cautioned that the CFIA could order her arrest if she did not comply. The overreach mirrors the same heavy-handed approach that Alyson’s aunt and cousin, Karen and Katie, faced when being arrested shortly after the CFIA descended to their properties, because the ostrich farmers insisted on humanely caring for their birds until the CFIA was lawfully able to cull them. A list of “Judgements to be rendered on leave applications” for this week do not list the “UoF vs CFIA” case, which means the cull will likely remain paused this week. Still, the CFIA shows no signs of backing off the land, returning care to the farmers, and spending less tax dollars in doing so to give the Supreme Court time to reserve judgement.

Garlic Girl shares her thoughts on today's news and tells us more about what this experience has been like for her. The RCMP seized her property for logistical and operational purposes. #JusticeForTaylorFamily is trending because Babajide Sanwo-Olu illegally seized a ₦9bn property, and used it as BRT car park. Despite high court orders. The property has belonged to the E.J.A. Taylor family, undisturbed since 1912, Until 2016 when some thugs tried to posses it. The family involved the Omo-Nile task force set up by fmr governor Ambode, they came and sealed the property pending investigations. After the Omo-Nile confirmed that indeed the property belonged to the Taylor’s. The Ambode task force still locked up the property from 2016, up till 2018. The family took it to the court on December 30th 2018. In 2019, the court also confirmed that the property belonged to the Taylor’s and asked the LASG task force to return the property, even though they decided they won’t pay any compensation. The Taylor’s agreed. Then, Babajide Sanwo-Olu came into office, ignored the court judgement, went a head to sign a notice of revocation in May 2020, they pasted it August, and in 2022 LASG forcefully took over the property. Since then, no compensation has been paid. The family hinted that, during ambode’s time, he tried pay them 5bn for the property. But the family were even ready to accept 3bn, but it didn’t go through. Now the family feels the Lagos state governor has cheated them and disobeyed the court of law. Most of the women in this country still believe that they have a right over the husband’s and in-laws’ house. This is the biggest MYTH. The matrimonial house is either the husband’s property or the in-laws’ property, and the wife has ABSOLUTELY ZERO ownership rights over that property merely because she got married. Yes, if she is residing there, it may be considered a shared household for the purpose of living and shelter. But that does not make her the owner of the property. Women in our country cry for the husband’s & in-laws’ property but rarely talk about respecting those relationships enough to deserve any voluntary share or ownership. Rather, when asked why they are not equally vocal about claiming their father’s or brother’s property, they suddenly become silent. Rights over someone else’s property cannot be claimed selectively. The law is based on ownership, not entitlement.

He got arrested in front of Aly "The Garlic Girl's" gate... A gate that leads to a seized property behind police lines that just happens to be next to Universal Ostrich Farms and useful for this massive government overreach. Aly's family is related to the farm's family but her property was never part of the quarantine and was only seized once the cull operation began. Can you imagine living through this dystopian nightmare?

After the property was seized, Aly was being allowed limited access to the property and her dwelling until an incident two nights ago. Aly did an interview with Rebel News and when she attempted to gain access later that evening, she was refused. She shared her text exchange and that story in a video that I will link below. Aly believes that her restriction from the property It was a punitive reaction to the interview, the optics certainly appear that way. She was later granted limited access to the property but her access is at the discretion of CFIA and could be denied anytime.

The police took my content, so the police became the only content I have of the trip.😂 I’m 100% certain this situation was not handled correctly by the yellow vest baton holders. Police aren’t allowed to seize property like they did. Section 19 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE) says these police would’ve needed a search warrant or consent from me. Under Section 22(4) of PACE, police cannot retain your physical property for evidence if taking a photograph or making a digital copy would be sufficient for the investigation. “An officer cannot pop open your camera on the sidewalk and confiscate the memory card under this power.” (That’s exactly what they did) I was pushed by pro Palestine guys and then had my property seized, what the actual bloody hell! 😂 They don’t even follow or know their own rules. What kind of police force is this? It’s a free for all for them…

🚨Property Tax Still owed even if your house was destroyed🚨 PLEASE SHARE and follow so I can get your DMs. They only have till midnight to get help. Operation shelter will pay the taxes for as many people as we can afford to, so they don’t lose their land. This is just another way for the government to take your land you will now owe taxes on property is destroyed, and when you cannot pay it they will take it at some point.

This change is so sinister. Labour’s plan to not pay market value to individuals whose property is seized due to a compulsory purchase order strikes at the very heart of private property rights. It should not be for the Government, a local authority or Natural England to decide what your property is worth. CPOs are controversial at the best of times, but the least we can do is make sure that when CPOs are used, market value of land is paid - not have aspects of the land value disregarded. For anyone who owns property, including our farmers, this measure is yet another vindictive blow, as they risk losing out. If the State acquires your property against your will - market value should be paid - nothing less. I will be campaigning hard to stop the Government taking what it pleases without paying up.
