Confusing perspective refers to a situation where the viewer is unsure of the spatial relationships or proportions of objects in a scene. This can happen when objects are positioned in a way that makes it difficult to determine their size or distance from one another, leading to a sense of disorientation or uncertainty. Artists often use confusing perspective as a technique to create visual interest or challenge the viewer's perception.

Here’s Amol Rajan interviewing Mary Anne Stephenson of the EHRC There is one perspective only: the trans perspective, and mainly, the trans XY perspective. Former Head of News Fran Unsworth said in a recent interview: ‘It’s the sea we swim in’. So it is here. The weight of bias becomes most obvious when you imagine the sorts of questions that could be asked by an impartial team. ‘Women have waited for this a long time - how can we be sure that now they really will have single sex spaces for their safety and privacy?’ ‘Some women say you’ve loosened the duty on service providers by using the phrase ‘case by case’. How do you respond?’ ‘Isn’t this draft even more confusing than the first draft when it comes to ‘proportionality’? ‘What about this advice that it’s not appropriate to challenge men in women’s toilets - surely that’s important for enforcement?’ ‘Why do you think so many trans-identified people say they’re determined to breach the law - do you think this guidance will help them to respect it?’ ‘Some campaigners blame the Minister for the confusion because she decided to consult in a way that was never done before trans people were admitted to opposite sex spaces. Are you disappointed it’s taken so long to lay this guidance before parliament?’ ‘Service providers have already had a year to be working on provision - surely they have no more excuses for failing to implement the law?’ This 👆line of questioning is so breathtakingly unlikely ever to happen that the audience becomes dulled to the bias. But don’t ever accept a lower standard, just because those lower standards have prevailed for ten and more years. It’s a very important slot and interview, and the Today programme fluffed it. This is a public service organisation that you pay for, and this was a very poor effort.

In a groundbreaking moment for Europe, Pope Leo sent a message what true freedom means in contemporary societies. With this, he also defended a seal of confession: (1:20 of the video below) “Without confusing the legal sphere with the moral one, it is also worth recalling that freedom must be understood in its fullness. Being free does not simply mean being free from coercion or having many choices; it means being able to recognize the good and commit to it responsibly. For this reason, every truly free society also requires a proper limitation of public power, so that the freedom of individuals, communities and associations is not unduly restricted (cf. Dignitatis Humanae, 1).” “From this perspective, the legitimate autonomy of the temporal order must never see itself as hostile to religion. Faith does not seek to impose itself through privileges or coercion; yet neither can it be silenced as if it were irrelevant to public life.” “In this context, the sacramental seal of confession holds special importance for the Catholic Church. It is part of the broader sphere of religious freedom, which guarantees believing communities their own space for life, organization and internal discipline (cf. Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, The Helsinki Final Act, 1 August 1975, Principle VII). To protect it legally, as is done in a similar way in some professions, means preserving a sacred space of inner freedom, where the believer can open his or her soul to God without fear of external pressures, as international norms also recognize (cf. International Criminal Court, Rules of Procedure and Evidence, Rule 73.3).”

Much of the audience in the West that is well intentioned but lacking in nuanced context on the Middle East find it confusing why Arab countries like the GCC, Jordan, Syria, and the legal governments of Yemen and Lebanon do not support the IRGC and their militias. They think that since Israel has behaved in such an evil and depraved manner towards the Palestinians, wouldn’t it be intuitive for the Arabs to support the Iranians and the Houthis who are self proclaimed enemies of Israel? The truth that the indigenous populations of the region know is that Iran has spent decades instigating foreign coups on countries in the region in order to destabilize them, and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people to maintain control. Just yesterday, a young boy returning from school with his sister was sniped in the head by the Houthi militias. Sniped. This is not an uncommon scene, just as Israelis sniping Palestinian children in the isn’t. From our perspective the children in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq are moral equals to the children of Palestine. Murdering a Syrian child in cold blood is just as criminal as murdering a Palestinian child. All children are innocents, and all child killers are criminals. So we don’t fall for the slogans of the child-murdering government who claims to champion the Palestinian cause, and just a couple years ago was purchasing weapons from Israel. This is a “moral” position of opportunity, that only emerged once American-Israeli support for Iran was cut off and they needed a Plan B. This is why indigenous voices matter in geopolitical analysis.

i’ve deffo spoken about this before but it was immediately after the ep and now after a million rewatches it’s still lowkey one of my favourite details so i’m gonna talk about tuna melts again so in filmmaking there’s this “rule” where essentially there’s an invisible line across the space of a scene that the camera shouldn’t cross (to avoid confusing the audience or mixing up the perspectives). when the 180 degree rule is broken, it’s usually done intentionally for a particular purpose or effect. in the tuna melt scene, the camera keeps breaking the 180 degree rule every time there’s a moment of vulnerability - only to be snapped back to the “correct” side each time as shane retreats and puts his walls back up. we switch perspectives when they say each others names for the first time, only to be pulled right back to the other perspective when shane starts to panic. we switch again when ilya says “hollander” to try and convince him to stay, and then back over to the “correct” side when we see shane leaving. (it doesn’t technically break the rule here because of where shane is standing the “line” would technically be behind him, but that would’ve been a really weird shot so imo the point still stands) its really effective and i think the scene is filmed that way to be intentionally jarring. it really shows how every moment of vulnerability is met with an equal amount of resistance from shane. he wasn’t ready to be truly vulnerable with ilya yet. as much as he wants to let go and allow himself this, each crack in ilya’s armour is a reminder to shane to put up another wall and protect himself.

Hasan coaches his audience to show charitably to MoistCr1TiKaL in his coverage regardless if Piker thinks Moist gave too much charitability to Ethan Klein Also confirms the Frogan default "He did the first video, I didn't think he gave a fair shake to the situation..I chalked it up to him not being super in tune with what's going on..I even said if Moist knew the extent of the harassment campaigns conducted by Ethan Klein that he would have a different attitude on it..or if he knew about the actual timeline of events" "I think we gotta be tactical here and tactically speaking u gotta think about the utility of assuming MoistCr1TiKaL is perfectly knowledgeable..whether that's the case or not, doesn't matter..Idk if there's a lot of utility bringing that to the forefront rather than being like hey this video was great, there's a lot more information out there..if u take a look at it, I think u would have a diff perspective" "I say this as someone who has been on the receiving end of MoistCr1TiKaL's commentary that I found to be not so nuanced, he very quickly did the Kayagate video and I'm still saying that" "Ethan Klein is a menace..has done everything he claims is being done to him and far worse to numerous content creators..he's vicious..a bully..his community loves it..his community is a snark subreddit" "I do think he's being nicer to Ethan Klein and he should be, in an effort to maintain a fair position while not siding too much with unfavorable parties bc let's be real in the spaces that Moist occupies, in the spaces we all occupy, we are the minority position..in the real world, we're not the minority position" "And that's literally the reason why he was launching this suit against as opposed to xQc, Asmongold, and numerous other ppl..who didn't offer anything extravagant as far as reactions goes in comparison to Morgan, Denims, or even Kaceytron" "I don't know why he always like qualifies it, it's 100% that is the case..u don't have to qualify it this hard, its ur show I'm not implying anything but it's just confusing to me why there is this layer of qualification every time"

Keep in mind, [allegedly] some of the Secret keepers understandings of what is occurring....is framed very differently in their minds. They think it's about the Earth switching hands from one NHI group to another. Which implies the group holding the Title/deed to the Earth gets to wipe out the resident population and institute their own custom population. Planting their proverbial "stake" in the ground. But that is (IMV) just BS the NHI have fed them. In an effort to get them to cooperate with staging extended access to manufacturing capacity on the ground. (not that it'll help) I think from their stories it has more to do with leveraging cooperation than bringing up the technology for scaled manufacturing capacity. But that's just my idle interpretation. I don't see the point of doing that, because it is like setting up your bed and bedsheets in a home before you've even paid the first months rent. (Inexplicable in my viewpoint? ) Keep in mind, different human factions with different working knowledgebases think different things are going on based on the information they've been fed, are privy to, or led to believe. The only sure thing, is that the NHI will be deceptive and demand our participation in their war. Using our fate if we do nothing (my guess) as leverage to get us to commit bodies to liter their eventual playing field. A hopeless war where there is zero possibility of winning. (cannon fodder) I've thought about it a long time, and the only conclusion I can come up with in all these years, is that it isn't about actually winning. But getting the other side to destroy what it is trying to preserve. Sort of like encouraging (brainwasihing) your neighbors sons to join in on a fight with you, in a knife fight against their own dad. Sure the dad wins the struggle, but at what cost? I figure, they must know they will lose, but they intend to maximize the collateral damage along the way. Making the eventual victory a very bitter ending. (IMO) Confusing what's real from whats fake always seems to be their go to principle. Earth may become a battlefield, but the battlefield inhabitants will probably not know why any of it is happening or see any of it in the correct perspective. (my opinion) Confusion may reign supreme. A stage/battlefield where people don't know whats up from down and don't know why this or that happened or who was truly responsible or behind it.

To love India, we have to shift our cognitive lens away from the simple, clean eqns of Euclidean Geometry (where everything fits into neat straight lines) & upgrade to the complex eqns of Fractals (where patterns emerge out of infinite, self-repeating chaos). China built a beautifully engineered machine. India is a self-evolving, organic jungle. A machine is orderly until it breaks; a jungle is chaotic, but it never stops living. Ancient India's strength was its modular decentralization. The central king (Chakravartin) rarely interfered with the local governance laws (Shreni-Dharma of merchant guilds/Grama-Sabhas of villages). Every community had its own unique operating system. When Nooyi says "the beauty of India is in its chaos," she is instinctively recognizing that India's survival mechanism for 5000 yrs has been its ability to absorb, metabolize & integrate turbulence, rather than trying to sanitize it through forced, top-down uniformity. In the Western mindset, "chaos" implies a total lack of structure/failure of a system. But in physics & mathematics, Chaos Theory proves that complex, seemingly random systems actually have deep, underlying patterns & feedback loops that are highly adaptive. Ancient Indian thought, specifically Sankhya Darshana, formalized this exact reality through the interplay of 2 cosmic entities: Purusha & Prakriti. China’s model is built on artificial Purusha: absolute, rigid, uniform order. India’s model is rooted in Prakriti: a living, breathing, non-linear ecosystem where 1000s of variables (languages, sub-cultures, independent decentralized units) interact simultaneously. Prakriti looks chaotic from the outside, but it is highly resilient because a collapse in 1 node does not crash the entire network. Rigidly uniform systems are efficient in the short term, but they suffer from brittleness under unexpected systemic shocks. Order requires single-variable compliance, whereas India operates on multivariable coexistence. In ancient Indian epistemology, the Jain school perfected a highly sophisticated logical framework called Anekantavada (the doctrine of non-absolutism/manyness of reality). It states that reality is infinitely complex & has multiple facets (Ananta-dharmatmakam vastu). No single perspective can claim absolute monopoly over the entire system. A homogenous society (like China) operates like a single-threaded software program. It executes commands seamlessly & cleanly because there are no competing logic loops. India operates like an massive, multi-threaded, open-source asynchronous protocol. It looks messy, it looks confusing & it lacks standard symmetry, but it allows completely contradictory truths, lifestyles & economic layers to occupy the exact same physical space w/o destroying 1 another. 🙏🙏

Remember when Hank Brennan tried to have a “gotcha!” moment with Dr. Marie Russell, acting as if he knows more than her about dog bites, when he claimed that they’re “routinely referred to as an hourglass shape”? Brennan went so far as to represent that “hourglass” is the industry standard term used to describe the shape of dog bites by experts in an attempt to imply that being unfamiliar with this term suggests one isn’t an expert. ———— Brennan asked: “Well in most professional studies by experts, isn’t it routinely referred to as an hourglass shape?” Dr. Russell replied: “I haven’t seen that at all.” Brennan asked: “Well have you read books on dog bites?” Dr. Russell replied: “I’ve read articles on dog bites.” Brennan asked: “Have you read books on dog bites?” Dr. Russell replied: “No. I have read articles on dog bites.” Brennan asked: “Have you ever read this book (Brennan holds up book)? Do you recognize this as an authority?” Dr. Russell replied: “No.” ———— There’s just one problem for Mr. Brennan. This—the term “hourglass” for describing the shape of dog bites—isn’t a standard known or used industry term, in fact, it isn’t even a term used by experts in the field, nor is it a term used in “professional studies” to describe the shape of dog bites. Unable to find any instances where the term “hourglass” is used in any of the literature, “professional studies”, scientific papers or expert testimony, I decided to consult Hank Brennan’s Dog Bible (I mean book) since he specifically cited to it as being a source that substantiates the supposed established & routine use of this terminology by experts in the field. However, in my quest to determine if this was in fact the case, I scanned through the entirety of Brennan’s “Dog Bites: A Multidisciplinary Perspective” book in order to find what he was referring to. Shockingly, for a term like “hourglass” that Brennan portrayed as being industry nomenclature, or specific verbiage used by experts & in books—particularly Brennan’s book—to describe & expertly qualify the distinct shape of dog bites, this book used the word “hourglass” one time across its 450+ pages. In its singular mention of the word “hourglass”, the book states: “The hourglass shape of a generalized dog bite is clearly different from the typical bow shape of a human bite” (pg. 237). Nowhere in this sentence, page or chapter of the book does it indicate that the word “hourglass” is a widely accepted & used term in the field for describing the shape of dog bites. Based on its singular reference & lack of routine use in this entire book about dog bites, I think it’s safe to say that Hank Brennan is not only wrong, but apparently didn’t read his own reference book—other than perhaps the one page mentioning “hourglass”. ———— Final note on Brennan’s apparent lack of discernment on what constitutes an authoritative source in the field, especially in the areas of science & medicine, and particularly as it relates to expert witness testimony: It’d also appear that Brennan is confusing “professional studies” with peer reviewed studies. This seems to be further reinforced by the fact that he leaned on “books” as a default authority source, when in actuality, it is very well understood both in the medical/scientific community, as well as in the legal world of expert witnesses, that the unequivocally reliable authoritative source is the peer-reviewed study—sometimes referred to as “articles” (aka academic research articles). You probably recall hearing Dr. Russell refer to many such “articles” (peer reviewed studies) throughout the hearing. Peer-reviewed studies, unlike “professional studies”, are academic research articles that undergo rigorous scrutiny by experts in the field (peers) before publication. This process ensures the quality, validity & originality of the research—unlike say a book, for instance, which has no barrier to publication. #KarenReadTrial
