Fantasies come true in Las Vegas. Had to get the flap underneath my Tesla Model 3 fixed. It finally failed on the drive to Vegas yesterday (my car is lowered so give that more abuse than usual). Service made me a deal. They would give me a Cybertruck while they fixed it. So we took it on a pretty road in Nevada. After a long drive to get to Valley of Fire State Park where I drove manually up. FSD down. Pretended we were on Mars in a robot. I have been interviewing Cybertruck owners and they all love theirs. I see why now. Smooths out all of life’s difficulties. It is the first all software driven vehicle. In it human is not linked to the wheels. This makes a long road trip or a U-turn way easier. And nicer. Thank you Tesla for making my fantasies come true. SCOTTeVEST Scott Jordan took me in his Ferrari on this road. The Ferrari is more fun to drive. But harder. And it can’t drive you so you can enjoy the very wild scenery. And on the ride up the Cybertruck is superior. What a fun day! Tomorrow going to hang out with healthcare/medical nerds.

Farmer lives in New York Someone stole this 4 wheeler, they filed off the serial numbers and dumped it on his property He called the police to report it and have it removed. NYPD said he would have to pay for the tow and impound to remove it This is what it’s like living in a Democrat state, they always side with the criminals He says he’s not going to do that obviously, so it’s just going to sit there Apparently this is common in places in New York where the police budget is a concern. If the vehicle is not high value or part of an active investigation, they’ll decline to pay for the towing have the property owner deal with it

Farmers pay tax. I pay tax. We want to pay tax (as much as anyone else wants to pay tax) If we could afford the inheritance tax bill we would pay it. Like we pay everything else. We either have the inheritance tax rules reversed or we have to demand better prices for our produce to be able to pay the tax. Farmland can’t be and must not be sold to pay the tax. Food security is the priority for this country and we have to protect it. Here’s my thoughts on what we can do about this.

I put my money where my mouth is. This is Mopol Junction to Itele Road. This terrible road I was referring to is what Harry Maguire claim to be in construction or to be a Federal road. By the way, it didn’t rain. So imagine when it rains. And yeah, no school today because of the election tomorrow, so there’s not so much traffic as usual. Having driven down to Maphisa yesterday to celebrate the 46th anniversary of Zimbabwe’s Independence I remain deeply concerned about the state of the road to Maphisa. Although construction work has been done on virtually the whole length of the road it is nowhere near finished. In fact for much of the length of the road all that has been done is the grading of either side of what used to be narrow tar. The narrow bridges remain the same and the old narrow tar is in very bad condition. In fact most the road was extremely dangerous. I recognize that contractors are still on site and had parked their construction vehicles to facilitate the high volume of traffic yesterday, so remain hopeful that they will remain on the road until it has been completed all the way from Bulawayo to Maphisa. My fear is that now that Independence Day is over that the contractors will move elsewhere leaving most of the road in a worse state than it was before the work started. I have already had one report of construction vehicles being moved to Masvingo and hope that isn’t going to be a trend. I call on Government to confirm that construction will continue along the entire length of the road and to give an indication when it expects the road to be finished.
