Conor Neill's 3-minute daily challenge to become a better speaker (backed by research): "What does it take to achieve world-class? As a musician? As a sportsman? As a speaker? Is it talent? The answer is no. The answer is 10,000 hours of practice." Conor explains: "No matter where you start from, no matter how talented a kid was in school, it's the kid that practices 8 hours a day that's now playing as a soloist with the top orchestras of the world. Leo Messi wasn't born with a better right knee and a better left foot than anyone else. It's what he chose to do every day after school, every weekend, that means he is where he is today." He shares a study that proves quantity beats perfectionism: "There was a pottery class in the United States. The teacher took half the class and said, 'Your grade will be based on the weight of pots you create.' To the other half, she said, 'You'll be evaluated on your one most finished piece.' The group measured on weight, they produced 5, 6, 7 pots a day. They tried random experiments, weird things, different ideas. Their hands were on clay from the first moment. The group evaluated on the most finished pot? They read, they thought, they talked about concepts, they went to galleries, and the first time they touched clay was 3 days before the end of class. All of the best pots were made by the group that focused on weight." He gives a simple challenge: "Every laptop comes with a webcam. Spend 3 minutes every day for the next 10 days. Record yourself. Explain a product. Explain your CV. Explain your vision. Try random things because no one else has to see it." Conor concludes: "No amount of watching YouTube videos of Bill Clinton is going to turn you into Bill Clinton. No amount of reading is going to turn you into a writer. Only by speaking do you turn into a speaker."

🎥 【A Kitasan Black Son Who Doesn’t Look the Part – and That’s the Whole Point】 Sol Oriens has joined the stallion roster at Breeders Stallion Station. His signature performance, of course, was the 2023 Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas), run on rain-affected, very unusual ground. He came from well off the pace and mowed them all down in one sweeping run. It was a spectacular victory achieved while he still looked physically immature, the kind of win that made you expect much more to come. Sadly, that turned out to be the last time he ever got his head in front. Chronic issues in his back and loin area surfaced, and from that point on he was never able to show his true potential. For a horse who always looked like a late bloomer, it’s a real shame we never got to see his genuine peak. His dam Skia is a mare steeped in European blood. She won the Prix Fille de l’Air (G3), and her progeny have been high-class too: Vin de Garde, for instance, finished second and third in the Dubai Turf (G1). Physically, Sol Oriens is a small horse who looks nothing like his sire, Kitasan Black, at all – and to me, that is exactly where his value lies. The conventional way of thinking is that if a colt is good enough to become a stallion, then resembling his sire is a positive. That may be true for the first generation – but by the time you get to the grandchildren, it’s not necessarily a good thing. Out of roughly 8,000 foals in a crop, only a tiny handful will ever win a G1. As a group, those few are biological “outliers” rather than the norm. Soon we’ll be living in a world with Kitasan Black blood everywhere. Horses that “look like Kitasan Black” will no longer be individuals; they’ll be a type. In that kind of environment, which horses actually break through the ceiling? Kitasan Black himself is an outstanding stallion, but to surpass him you need to reach a dimension beyond what he alone can provide. To go beyond Kitasan Black, you don’t just need Kitasan Black – you need the power of the dam side as well. That’s one of the reasons I think the maternal pedigree is so crucial when evaluating a stallion. Sol Oriens, a Kitasan Black son who doesn’t resemble his sire and still managed to win a Classic, is almost a living proof of concept for “creating a horse that can surpass the father” and “forging an ultimate individuality – in other words, a G1 winner.” What makes Sol Oriens truly unique is the fact that he carries five separate lines of Tudor Minstrel on his dam’s side. Tudor Minstrel was a small, low-withers horse, but over a mile and below he was untouchable – he crushed the 2000 Guineas by eight lengths and ranks among the greatest three-year-old milers in history. He was a completely different type from Kitasan Black. Tudor Minstrel’s third dam is Lady Josephine, a mare I’ve cited many times. Lady Josephine stands behind the speed revolution in modern racing: she’s in the background of Northern Dancer, Mr. Prospector, Sunday Silence and other lines that reshaped the breed. This female line produced monsters like Mahmoud, Fair Trial, Nasrullah and Royal Charger. Even the famed Sunday Silence × Lyphard nick involves Fair Trial, which shows you how central Lady Josephine is as a speed influence. On top of that, Tudor Minstrel himself is bred on a 3×2 cross of the near-relatives Selene and Sansovino, with the great Hyperion – another cornerstone of European stamina – naturally present as well. When you realize that Sol Oriens has five lines of Tudor Minstrel packed into his dam’s side, he starts to look even more intriguing. He hasn’t been admitted to Shadai Stallion Station, so he’s unlikely to receive the absolute maximum level of support, and it will be difficult for him to rank among the very top sires by earnings. Even so, if he’s given enough backing, I genuinely believe it’s entirely possible that somewhere down his line, a true superstar will emerge.

Can't get enough of Seedance 2.5. The best part is it can generate 30s video in one single prompt, and the result is so realistic! So, here's another one that I made using CapCut. Prompt: [STYLE + CAMERA + ATMOSPHERE] Gritty, raw handheld 35mm film aesthetic with natural film grain. Harsh direct sunlight creating high-contrast shadows over a dramatic coastal cliff and open ocean. Continuous single-take handheld tracking shot (3rd-person / over-the-shoulder) with no cuts. Atmosphere: high-altitude wind, realistic coastal cliff and ocean physics, sudden wingsuit deployment. Audio: heavy rhythmic breathing, intense wind howl, fabric snap of wingsuit opening, high-speed air rush over open water, near-miss whooshes past yachts, soft landing roll on sand, distant ocean waves and beach ambient noise, final bite sounds. [IMAGE REFERENCES] Use the provided Hoshino character sheet as the single strict visual reference for the male character. Exact face, black hair, dark brown eyes, lean athletic build (178 cm), gold earrings, and overall facial structure locked from the reference. Outfit: modern high-performance cliff-jumping wingsuit — sleek, form-fitting design in matte charcoal black with sharp white paneling and subtle gold zipper accents (matching his minimalist aesthetic). The wingsuit is worn from the start with a matching technical backpack. Body proportions, posture, and face remain fully locked to the Hoshino reference. [TIMELINE SECOND BY SECOND] 0-3s: [Handheld medium] Hoshino stands on the edge of a high rocky cliff overlooking the open ocean, wearing his charcoal-and-white wingsuit and technical backpack. He looks straight into the camera with calm, confident intensity, then turns and launches into a clear, controlled forward somersault in slow motion as he leaves the cliff edge. 3-5s: [Continuous freefall] He completes the somersault and falls head-first toward the sea. At exactly 1.5 seconds into the fall he fully deploys the wingsuit with a sharp snap. The wing membranes inflate and he levels out into a smooth glide. 5-12s: [High-speed tracking] Camera stays locked behind him as he rockets at full speed just above the ocean surface along the coastline. He weaves tightly past sheer cliff faces, banking hard left and right, turquoise water and rocky walls streaking past at extreme velocity. 12-18s: [Low-level chaos] He drops lower, flying just above the water. He almost collides with a large luxury yacht that suddenly turns, banks hard to avoid it, then narrowly misses a smaller motor yacht. He dips under a yacht’s outstretched boom and threads between two more vessels. 18-23s: [Water-level action] Still flying extremely low over the sea, he dodges a startled seabird that dives across his path, skims past a group of people on a nearby yacht who scatter in surprise, and banks sharply to avoid an open yacht swim platform. The camera stays locked behind him through every near-miss. 23-26s: [Landing] He flares the wingsuit hard, touches down with both feet on the soft beach sand and immediately rolls forward to kill the speed. He stands up, peels off the wingsuit in one fluid motion and drops it on the sand beside him, revealing a clean fitted white undershirt underneath. 26-28s: [Beach level] He walks a few steps still wearing the backpack and stops right in front of a classic beachside hot-dog cart. The vendor hands him a steaming hot dog fresh off the grill. 28-30s: [Close continuous] He turns, looks directly into the camera, takes a big bite of the hot dog and chews with a calm, satisfied expression as the shot holds. [STYLE & QUALITY BOOSTERS] Photorealistic 8K, ultra-detailed textures, cinematic lighting, perfect motion blur, high dynamic range, coherent physics (fabric, air, wingsuit membranes, impact, roll, near-misses with yachts, water spray), stable character locked to the Hoshino reference, realistic ocean reflections, cliff rock textures and wind, no artifacts, movie-level stability, pure single continuous take.

#25DaysOfCoasters RCX Top 125 Rank Bonus Day 26: #1, 420 Feet Up On Top Of The World 1. Top Thrill 2 - Cedar Point Make: Intamin/Zamperla, Model: Accelerator/LSM Launch Opened: 2003/2024 Sometimes you have to be patient and wait for really good things to come. That was the definite case with Top Thrill 2. Just 8 days of operation in its 2024 opening year. However after much trial and error the first half of 2025, CePo got this thing running consistently to end up with over 70% up time on the year. There is only about 42 seconds of ride time on Top Thrill 2, however what is done in those 42 seconds packs in more elements, thrill (top thrills you might say) and action that coasters with 2-3 minutes of prime ride time accomplish. You start with your “baby launch” 0-74 mph, a “baby” launch that is still faster than any in my home state of Florida. It may not be a top hat roll back, but then you then get a half way up the top hat roll back, something that every thoosie clamored for on the original Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka. Well now it’s officially part of the ride. Roll backwards into an unhinged launch up to 100 mph. The horizontal positive force in reverse going backwards is unmatched on any other ride or coaster out there. Flying by the station, up the 400 foot Spike into pure weightless bliss. The sustained weightlessness at the top of the Spike, especially in the back rows is also unmatched. Free fall back down the vertical angle with great flojector, giving you the sensation of a traditional coaster drop mid ride. Then speed up to your max 120 mph, the sense of speed is great all around, but in the front row, you just better hope it’s not mayfly season! I noticed that at the max speed, on the Silver Train it starts to rattle, but not in a way that takes away from the ride, just adds more force, which is also why I found Silver Train gives the most unhinged force on the spin down, we’ll get back to that soon though. That climb up 420 feet doesn’t have a ton of force but is mentally just thrilling. Then the top of the world, ejector airtime 420 feet up in air. I actually felt the best airtime here in the middle of the train, Row 4 to be exact. Then the angle as you descend stares you straight at the ground from the clouds. Until you hit the spiral it just looks like you’re about to freefall straight into the ground below the top hat. Then the spiral, some of the most intense lateral force ever. If you don’t brace yourself you may end up for more than you bargained for here. I thought I seriously injured my back as silly, carefree me had my hands up and let the forces take me wherever they desired. That launched me out of the right side of the train, the spiral ends and you get thrown back against your seat, except I was not against my seat so my spine got cracked, slammed half way down my back against the edge of the train/seat. I actually heard the crack. Thought I might be seriously injured as I exited the vehicle. Turns out it was just the adjustment I needed! Thanks for being a great chiropractor TT2! And thank you to Cedar Point, Intamin & Zamperla for giving us what I consider to be the greatest roller coaster on Earth!

TO THE CREATORS OF Crimson Desert Firstly, you have made an incredible, weird, beautiful and complex game that I absolutely love. But there are some elements where things could be improved in my opinion. 1. REDUCE wind effects in foliage (selectively) Okay I love the wind effects, you have taken them to a whole other level with the dense forests blowing around, the problem is it's WAY too frantic, the shadows play around on the floor so fast, the tree's are ALWAYS blowing in certain areas, and abnormally quickly, it would be nice to see certain forests which currently have constantly high wind effects being toned down, times of stillness, times of gentle breeze etc. 2. The Waterfalls & Water The water is insane, the best i've seen in a game... sometimes, other times the water is flowing irrationally fast, like the waterfalls for example, not only are they graphically lacking in comparison to the ultra realistic rivers but they are falling at incredibly fast speeds with little to no water displacement/splash effect on the water it's falling into, the fast waterfall clips into the water it's going into rather than crashing and frothing properly, and then the actual body of water is moving slowly, it's jarring, the waterfalls need fixing graphically and in terms of speed. 3. Add a Depth of Field Zoom/Pull-Focus (PLEASE) You have made an incredibly detailed (insanely) game, the first-person mode is amazing, I haven't lost myself in a world like this since Red Dead Redemption II. A lot of the time I will find myself walking to and from quests simply to look around, with that being said a function in first-person mode where you can zoom in slightly further with a DoF/Pull-Focus background blur and foreground sharpening on focused objects/local areas would be cinematically FANTASTIC. 4. First-Person Immersion Breaking As I said, the first-person in this game is awesome. Problem is you force me into 3rd person WAY too much. It would be great if you could figure out a good way to keep the player in first-person during world exploration, combat I understand (for now, but maybe think about first person combat?) but you force me into third person when: I raise my lantern, when I loot chests/drawers etc, when I fly, when I climb and when I mine resources, all of these would benefit from a locked camera function for 3rd and 1st person. Hope you consider implementing some of these changes in future patches and congratulations, the game is already a work of art, despite any future patches it requires.

Perfect 1v1 Drill For Finding Your LOCKDOWN Defenders! Coach LoGalbo takes you through a drill that is perfect for finding your lockdown defenders that you can rely on when the lights turn on. As Nick LoGalbo says, it's a great way to find your "Rambo" which is a defender that you can rely on to defend your opponent’s best ball handler in the full court. And, an added offensive benefit to this drill, is that it allows for offensive players to work on their ball handling in the face of defensive pressure! This 1 on 1 Contain Drill is from Nick LoGalbo's Outer Third Defense (No Middle Defense). That's why the goal of this basketball drill is to force the opponent's primary ball handlers to the outer thirds of the basketball court (and out of the middle!) as soon as they catch the ball. By doing this, it allows the defense to dictate the entry pass to one side of the floor. By keeping the ball on the outer third of the basketball court, you can overload the backside of the defense which helps control the opponents passing lanes, deters easy passes and helps eliminate the dribble drive. You can incorporate this drill every other day in practice to re-emphasize to your defenders the importance of keeping the ball handlers out of the middle of the basketball court. Instructions and Keys to the 1 on 1 Contain Drill: - Give the ball handler a cushion. This makes it easier to contain them in the outer thirds. - Chest and contest a crossover to the middle. You do not turn your body. You must beat the offensive player to the spot and turn them back to the outer thirds. - If you get beat, you sprint ahead of the ball. You do not continue shuffling. - Keep the ball in the outer thirds the entire length of the court. It does not stop after the offensive player gets past half court. - The goal of the drill is to simply keep the ball handler in the outer thirds. - The defense should focus on beating the ball to the spot and chest to contest defense. - As soon as the first group gets to halfcourt, the second group begins. - After a group makes it all the way to the opposite baseline, they switch positions and get in line to repeat the drill going the opposite direction. Coaching Tips - Once a player gets chest to contest, they must spring back to get in front of the ball. Your goal is not to be running side by side. You must get in front of the offensive player. This prevents the offensive player from getting an angle to the basket. - After running through the drill for a specified amount of time, switch directions so the offensive players must focus on using both hands as their primary dribbling hand. - It is important to mix up players rather than like positions always competing against each other, so that players get used to guarding a wide variety of positions. It forces the players to adjust defensively regarding speed and skill. - Another positive of this drill is it gives you the ability to assess who your Rambo is: players who can work the point guard up the floor.

New episode: "How Elon Works" This episode covers the insanely valuable company-building principles of Elon Musk A few notes from the episode: 1. The mission comes first. 2. Retreat is not an option. 3. A maniacal sense of urgency is our operating principle. 4. Product design should be driven by engineers. 5. You should not separate engineering from product design. 6. Having separate design and production departments is bullshit. Keep everything together and feedback immediate. 7. The leader should be on the front lines. You should be a battlefield general. 8. "If they see the general out on the battlefield, the troops are going to be motivated. Wherever Napoleon was, that's where his armies would do best." 9. Apply The Algorithm constantly. (1) Question every requirement. (2) Delete any part of the process you can. (3) Simplify and optimize. (4) Accelerate cycle time. (5) Automate. 10. Repetition is persuasive. "I became a broken record on the algorithm. I think it's helpful to say it to an annoying degree." 11. You should go ultra-hardcore on deletion and simplification. 12. Camaraderie is dangerous. It makes it hard for people to challenge each other’s work. (Refer to point #1) 13. Never ask your troops to do something you wouldn’t do. 14. Hire for attitude. Skills can be taught. Attitude changes require a brain transplant. 15. Good attitude = A desire to work maniacally hard. 16. The only rules are the ones dictated by the laws of physics. Everything else is a recommendation. 17. Keep your entire company committed to a common goal. 18. If things aren’t going well, throw away the existing design, start from first principles, question every requirement based on fundamental physics. 19. Find the limit. You want to delete as much as possible and you can’t do that unless you find the limit. 20. If you aren’t adding back at least 10% of the things you deleted, then you didn’t delete enough. 21. Maintain control. Avoid joint ventures. Eliminate middlemen. 22. Have a relentless dedication to questioning every requirement. 23. No work about work, just work. 24. Go to the problem. Get on the plane. Fly to the source. Go to the exact location in the factory. Go to the problem and stay there until it's resolved. 25. The best part is no part. 26. Be wired for war. 27. Do not fear losing. It hurts the first 50 times but then you’ll be able to play with less emotion. You will take more risks. 28. Stay heads down focused on doing useful things for civilization. 29. When something is important and has to be done quickly, have meetings every 24 hours to run the algorithm and check on the previous days progress. You'll be shocked at how fast this speeds things up. 30. Life needs to be interesting and edgy. 31. Delete, delete, delete, delete. There are 100 more ideas in the episode. I hope you listen to it. 30 years of Elon’s career + 60 hours of reading and research and me just absolutely ripping through idea after idea at 2x speed for 90 minutes. It will be hard to find a better use of time.

Google just confirmed the first case of hackers using AI to build a zero-day exploit from scratch. An actual zero-day vulnerability that no human had EVER found before, discovered by an AI model, turned into a working weapon, and aimed at a mass exploitation campaign targeting thousands of systems simultaneously. Google's Threat Intelligence Group caught it yesterday and killed the operation before it scaled. But the details of how it worked are genuinely scary: The AI found a flaw in a popular two-factor authentication system that traditional security tools had missed entirely. The vulnerability was a logic error buried deep in the authentication flow where a developer had hard-coded a trust exception years ago. No human security researcher or automated scanner had caught it. The flaw was invisible to EVERY tool the cybersecurity industry has built over the past two decades. But the AI spotted it immediately. Then it wrote a full Python exploit script to weaponize it. Google's analysts could tell the code was AI-generated because it had textbook formatting, educational comments explaining every function, and even a hallucinated severity score that doesn't exist in any real database. The AI literally graded its own attack with a fake rating. So the code had MISTAKES in it. The criminals' implementation was clumsy enough that it probably interfered with the actual deployment. This was the sloppy first attempt by people who are still learning how to use these tools. And it still found a vulnerability that the entire cybersecurity industry missed. Google's chief threat analyst John Hultquist said: "There's a misconception that the AI vulnerability race is imminent. The reality is that it's already begun. For every zero-day we can trace back to AI, there are probably many more out there." But here's where it gets truly insane... This wasn't even a sophisticated operation. North Korea's APT45 hacking unit is sending thousands of repetitive prompts to AI models, recursively analyzing known vulnerabilities and building an entire exploit arsenal that would be physically impossible for human hackers to assemble at the same speed. They're essentially industrializing cyberattacks. A Chinese state-linked group jailbroke Google's own Gemini by simply asking it to "pretend to be a network security expert" and then used that persona to research how to hack TP-Link routers and corporate file transfer systems. Another Chinese group deployed autonomous AI agents that probed a Japanese tech firm with minimal human oversight, deciding on their own which tools to use and pivoting between targets based on internal reasoning. And then there's PROMPTSPY, an Android backdoor that calls Google's Gemini API to read your phone screen in real time, navigate your interface autonomously, capture your biometric data, replay your lock screen PIN, and block you from uninstalling it by placing an invisible overlay over the uninstall button. It literally OPERATES your phone using commercial AI tools anyone can access. Everyone spent the last 3 years arguing about whether AI would take people's jobs. Meanwhile AI is making every password, every firewall, and every two-factor authentication system on Earth fundamentally less secure. The entire $190 billion cybersecurity industry was built on one assumption: that finding vulnerabilities is hard and requires deep expertise. But AI just removed that assumption from the equation. And the scariest part is that Google said the criminals made errors this time. The implementation was rough and the campaign probably didn't fully work. These were amateurs, now imagine what professionals are able to do. There's a reason Sam Altman predicted an inevitable massive cyberattack THIS year. What do you think?

$MONG OVERVIEW Intro: $MONG was the first meme community created by anti-crypto US Congressman Brad Sherman in one of the funniest speeches of all time. $MONG represents a meme-centric, pro-crypto movement in direct irony with Brad’s views. History: The MONG community formed in late 2021 after Brad’s hilarious congressional speech. The community grew exponentially and drew tons of attention across the web3 industry. Around this time, an established NFT company called META COLLECT decided to get involved and released MONGS NFT. The NFTs were an instant success, minting out in 16 minutes. Unfortunately, the original token the community rallied around was rugged by an anonymous dev who has since done the same to hundreds of other tokens. Instead of completely disbanding, the community rallied around Meta Collect and the NFTs. Meta Collect continued to work through the crypto bear market in 2022 & 2023 to bring value to holders, with plans to re-launch $MONG, this time supported by a doxed and reputable team. In mid-2023 they launched $MONG, which was an immediate success running up to a $240 million mc, second to only $PEPE in a mini-bull market. Bear market conditions followed market-wide, but the team and community kept working despite the usual fud due to prices decreasing. Over the past few months, significant development has occurred and $MONG is primed for a massive run in the next major bull market. Mongs NFTs(MONGS NFT): The NFTs were released nearly two years ago and have done over 2,300 ETH in volume on OpenSea. The release was a resounding success as they were minted out in 16 minutes in an extremely fair launch. Everyone who wanted to participate could – no gas wars, no doing backflips for a whitelist spot, and a low mint price. The NFTs pair perfectly with the MONG meme, including; crypto coins, hamsters, cobras, mongress backgrounds, and much more. They are genuinely on-theme and are a collector's dream with numerous, recognizable rare traits. The NFTs are a vital part of the MONG ecosystem and will be incorporated into Kudoe (KDOE) web3 game. There have also been multiple coin claims for NFT holders with plenty more coming. Credit to Jon Trafford for the excellent artwork on these! Mong Ordinals: The team was ahead of the curve on Bitcoin Ordinals and inscribed a collection of 420 Royal Mongs under 100k inscriptions! Check them out here: MONG X Spaces: Run by the best spacehost in web3 Rep. Ryan. Every week multiple official and non-official spaces drive excellent community engagement, especially considering we’re still in somewhat of a bear market. There’s a weekly AMA space where all updates are discussed and anyone can ask questions with @toolegitcypto, one of the founders. There are also numerous collab spaces with other exciting projects. Meta Collect: The team behind the entire MONG ecosystem, check them out here: They have an awesome IRL NFT art gallery. MONG Swap – powered by $COBRA: Safe and easy DEX, especially for those new to web3. Only well-intentioned projects are hard-coded into the swap. Mark Zuckerberg just told you exactly why trillion-dollar companies lose to people who have nothing. Zuckerberg: “Large companies are slow and they lack conviction.” Nine words. The entire vulnerability of every empire on earth in a single sentence. Google had the talent. Microsoft had the infrastructure. Yahoo had the distribution. Every single one of them could have built Facebook. None of them did. Zuckerberg: “We were like a ragtag group of children.” Not seasoned executives. Not credentialed engineers with decades of experience. Children. Against the most well-funded technology companies on the planet. And the children won. Not because they were smarter. Not because they had better resources. Because they believed in something the giants were too comfortable to take seriously. Capital does not beat conviction. Infrastructure does not beat speed. Talent does not beat the willingness to look stupid building something no one respects yet. The giants had everything except the one thing that actually mattered. The inability to hesitate. A large company sees a new idea and runs it through committees. They commission research. They weigh the risk. They debate the market size. They ask what happens to the existing product line. By the time the organization agrees the idea is worth pursuing the window is already closed. The person who builds it does not go through that process. They just build. No committee. No consensus. No permission. They move before the math is finished because they can feel the answer before the spreadsheet confirms it. That is not recklessness. That is the only speed that matters when the window is open. Zuckerberg: “People doubt new ideas before they come to fruition.” It is never one doubt. It is a rotating series of doubts that shift every time the previous one is proven wrong. Zuckerberg: “It’s just like this college kid thing.” That was the first wall. It is small. It is niche. It is not serious. Then it grew. “Maybe not college kids, but it’s probably a fad.” Then it kept growing. “Maybe it’s not a fad, but it’s probably not gonna make money.” Then it made money. “Okay it makes money, but the switch to mobile is gonna be pretty hard.” Every single objection was wrong. Every single one served the same function. It gave the doubter permission to do nothing for one more cycle. That is not analysis. That is self-preservation dressed as skepticism. The person too slow to build the thing will always find a reason why the thing will not work. Not because the reasons are good. Because the alternative is admitting they missed it. You are watching the exact same pattern play out with AI right now. First it was a toy. Then it hallucinated too much. Then it was not profitable. Then it was a bubble. Then it was going to plateau. Every cycle the objection changes. The function never does. Zuckerberg built a company worth over a trillion dollars against competitors who had every advantage except the willingness to commit before the outcome was guaranteed. That is the only advantage that has ever mattered. Not capital. Not credentials. Not infrastructure. The willingness to be wrong in public long enough to become undeniably right. The giants will always have more money. More engineers. More servers. More distribution. They will always be slower than the person who does not need a meeting to make a decision. The committee will never outrun the individual who already started. The incumbents are not dangerous because they are strong. They are vulnerable because they are careful. And careful has never once in the history of technology built the thing that changed the world. It has only ever bought it after someone else already did.

For those who don’t think eRUC’s will lead to you paying for your emissions or that you won’t be tracked in real time, Here’s some bad news for you. eROAD (which has been going bananas on the stock market) is the lead contender for the multi million contract with the govt, has as one of its main organisation objectives “To track all emissions to get us to net zero” which just so happens is one of the stated goals of the UN, and WEF. Coincidence. In fact in their investor presentation the company proudly claims that is “led by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals” 7 of them in fact - and reports against the UN’s SDG’s. On dear. It gets worse, way way worse. The WEF has a local shop, called ‘Chapter Zero’ which Luxon & Willis has presented to and engages with . The board of eRoad is are also paid up members of the WEF’s shop - Chapter Zero. Convenient. Reading their last 3 years of investor presentations - it is clear that eRoad sees its future growth in measuring and reporting data to what it calls ‘partners’, but doesn’t say who these partners are. The company claims it was the first in NZ to build an eRUC system, looking on line its employees were also involved in the first prosecution of inside trading. In fact that incident is now used a case study for criminal lawyers. Reading their privacy statement is interesting, they reserve the right to credit check all system users, and here’s something they reserve the right - to share ‘anonymised’ data of your location and emissions data to ‘partners’ and AI firms. Wonderful. So easy just like a Netflix subscription ! Here’s CEO of eROAD Mark Heine (pronouns in his LinkedIn profile btw) talking to Greg Murphy about how their eRUC system works - - Records where the vehicle is all the time - It will monitor distance, and the speed you are doing. - They can monitor emissions, Mark says “that’s what the govt wants us to do” - Will be a huge data collector which is ‘exciting because of the possibilities’. Oh yes the possibilities. Endless. So many possibilities! Like being linked to your electronic money, being limited on your car use, freedom of travel, being debited to pay for the Paris Agreement.. oh man it’s all good stuff ! For people comparing this to “oh just like your mobile” a better comparison for this system is an ankle bracelet criminals wear. A reminder this was a joint National and Act coalition agreement. EXCLUSIVE: HONG KONG ANTI-CHINA GROUPS AWASH WITH MYSTERY CASH Investigators found millions of dollars delivered to Stand News "in a clandestine manner", a court heard. The loss-making anti-China media outlet in Hong Kong suddenly went from deep debt to having millions in spare cash. The discovery, revealed in court recently, is an example of how China-hostile groups in Hong Kong acquired donations equivalent to tens of millions of US dollars between 2014 and 2020. The G-7's Financial Action Task Force warned during this period that crowdfunding donations had become the new way for clandestine funders to transfer cash around the world at high speed without being traceable, with the cash sometimes used for terrorism--which is what happened in Hong Kong. . CROWDFUNDED TERRORISM In a case in point, a mysterious woman came to visit a Hong Kong protest group called Dragon Slayers Brigade and gave them instructions on where and when to set up a crowdfunding bid. They did so – and money quickly poured into their bank account, more than they could use. After setting up a Molotov cocktail factory, obtaining an AR15 assault rifle and financing a team of staff, leader Wong Chun-keung gave himself a stress-relief break in which he spent some of the funds on football betting. “I used about HK$300,000 [US$40,000] of the donations to gamble. For me, it was a way to de-stress,” he told a court. The suddenly wealthy group obtained high grade explosives and planned a terrorist-level bombing in Wan Chai which would have caused massive casualties, had police not stopped them hours before they set the bombs off. . CELEBRATING VIOLENCE The anti-China Stand News carried interviews with members of the Dragon Slayers Brigade, presenting them positively and "romanticizing" their violent mission, a court heard. In fact, it has become clear that money is the key to fully understanding the protests in Hong Kong. From 2014 onwards, anti-government activists and anti-China media groups found themselves awash with cash. These tens of millions of dollars were in addition to the tens of millions handed out in Hong Kong since 1994 by the National Endowment for Democracy, a US group specializing in overseas political interference "to advance US interests". The cash is also in addition to the secret sum of US$2 million set aside for the Hong Kong protests by America's Open Technology Fund, a unit of Radio Free Asia, a Washington DC "news" outlet. And it is in addition to the millions of dollars known to have been handed out to anti-China activists by Mark Simon, a one-time US intelligence officer working for Jimmy Lai's Apple Daily. TOO MUCH, TOO FAST While most crowdfunding activities are legitimate and harmless, examples in which large sums of money are moved in a highly charged political atmosphere are suspect, particularly if the money arrives very quickly, investigators said. Hong Kong journalists watched one anti-China group in the city obtain a large sum of cash at high speed using crowdfunding in August of 2019. "A new gofundme campaign created yesterday has raised over US$1.97m in two hours this morning," amazed journalists at Hong Kong's Dimsum Daily reported. This was extraordinary, not just because of the speed, but because the group was virtually unknown. Called "Freedom Hong Kong", it supported a gathering of protesters under the slogan "Alliance of United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong, sovereignty lies with the people". It presented itself as Hong Kong people calling for western nations to impose sanctions on their own community. This made no sense, but since the crowdfunding sites were in the US, police could not trace the origin of the funds. Hong Kong journalists noted that Freedom Hong Kong was registered in the United States. . STAND NEWS MONEY MYSTERY The donations money-transfer technique can be traced back a decade. In 2014, an anti-China media group called House News, which attracted too little advertising and was losing $600,000 a month, closed down. But six months later, it relaunched itself as Stand News. It still had almost no advertising, but was suddenly cash rich, through "donations". When the media outlet wiped its website and stopped posting material, investigators found a reserve cash account containing HK$61 million (US$8 million): an extraordinary amount of spare cash for a non-profit website without a functioning business model. . APPLE DAILY PUZZLE Similarly, Stand News' former partner Apple Daily was losing more than HK$1 million a day, sometimes twice that, during this period. That means it was losing between US$1 million to US$2 million a week, month after month, year after year. But it always had vast amounts of spare cash in its bank account. Business reporters from other Hong Kong publications openly expressed puzzlement about where Apple Daily's money came from. "We cannot help wonder if its existence were a powerful propaganda machinery…" said business writers at Dimsum Daily. . ANTI-CHINA PROPAGANDA Stand News overseas director was a man named Evan Fowler, who co-founded a China-hostile website called the Hong Kong Free Press, before returning to the UK to work for a hard right group called the Henry Jackson Society. In 2017, that society was revealed by the Times of London to be taking 10,000 pounds a month (more than US$13,000), delivered by Japanese contacts, to spread negative news about China to the mainstream media, including The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Economist. . VIOLENCE, HOSTILITY AND CASH It's clear that the key to fully understanding the Hong Kong anti-China movement is cash, and it's easy to find multiple examples. Here are four more: 1) In another Hong Kong court case, a 17-year-old Hong Kong youth arrested for violent protests, revealed to a court that he maintained "a spare flat to keep his bombs in". Hong Kong is literally one of the most expensive places in the world – how can a 17-year-old afford a spare apartment? 2) At yet another court hearing, an anti-China activist called Wayland Chan talked about being given a company by Mark Simon, a former US intelligence agent, working for Apple Daily. Simon told him that the company was of covert nature and could be used to liaise with foreign organizations and collect funds. 3) One group using crowdfunding to attract large sums of money at speed called itself the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund. A court heard it received HK$270 million (US$34 million) in donations between June 2019 and October 2021, and cash went to anti-China lawyers, international lobbyists, and hostile foreign organizations. Two of its trustees were directors of Stand News, and one worked with the "revolution industry", a cluster of hybrid warfare consultants which uses street protests to promote US interests. Not Hong Kong interests, US interests. 4) In yet another case, HSBC in 2019 closed the accounts of a group called Spark Alliance, which also claimed that the HK$80 million (US$10.3 million) in their account came from crowdfunding. That group presented itself as a noble foundation providing support for arrested protesters. But investigators found the account was managed by an 18-year-old involved in drug trafficking, with some cash withdrawn and spent on unrelated items. . FALSE NARRATIVE Why is the narrative you see about Hong Kong in the media so different to the truth? The western press is doing its job, which is to demonize China to manufacture consent for the US to go to war against a developing country which is daring to rise peacefully. That doesn't mean that individual western journalists are necessarily bad people. Some probably really believe that America is a wonderful country that wouldn't dream of interfering in politics outside its own borders, and that the Chinese are warlike people who will shortly invade Australia as a prelude to taking over the world. All the rest of us can do is to try to present a fairer picture of what's going on and hope the truth will spread.
