HAPPENING NOW: Our crew is on scene of a small plane down. We're told by TPD, "We can confirm a small biplane landed on Park Avenue near Bilby Road. The single occupant of the aircraft was not injured and it appears a pole was struck. The investigation is ongoing at the moment. For traffic, all vehicle traffic is shut down on Park Avenue from Mossman Road south to Bilby Road."

Traffic advisory This evening, the Kenya National Highways Authority closed the Nakuru bound carriageway of the Nakuru - Eldoret (A8) Road at Eveready Roundabout following the formation of a sinkhole on the road. KeNHA is working round the clock to ensure normal traffic flow is restored. Motorists are advised to exercise caution as they approach the area and follow directions from traffic police and marshals to ensure the safety of all road users.

Numerous road traffic offences being committed here by the driver of BT70KWR at White Ford Cherry Picker in Tamworth, Staffs. Not least of all driving without due care and attention, and driving other than on a road. There maybe a case to answer for the more serious offence dangerous driving given he drove into the path of oncoming vehicles. Is it time the standards applied to all other road uses are applied to these flag-shagging simpletons?

Motorists are advised to expect major delays in the area. Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle lost control due to wet road conditions and collided head-on with another vehicle. A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash. Two people sustained injuries, one is seriously injured, while another is in a critical condition. Emergency services, including an ambulance and an EMS helicopter, are currently on the scene, with preparations underway to airlift the injured. The road has been temporarily closed to traffic, and officers from the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety are on site managing traffic and conducting point duty.
